My dad had this very "Dad" saying I grew up hearing. He'd say, "Never assume. It makes and ass out of u and me." Us kids always giggled at that one, but turns out, Dad was spot on. When you take a deeper look at the assumptions we make and why we make them, it's staggering. Especially when you consider that those assumptions are one of the primary causes of "ALL the sadness and drama you've experienced in your life." I mean...just...wow.
