Emer is a Consultant Trauma and Orthogeriatrician in Cork University hospital and was appointed National Clinical Advisor Group Lead (NCAGL) for Older Persons in May 2022. They discuss Emer's career and journey to the specialty of geriatric medicine, her experience with the IGS and NCAGL roles, urgent and emergent care plan for older adults, age friendly healthcare design and lots more.
