It's Tuesday. You know what that means. It's time for Ignition with aw fan Hub. This is your host, Kelson, and I'm sitting here with Net and MK and Sutton and we're gonna talk about a few things, but we're gonna start with Revolution. I'm gonna go right to Net. Give it a rating on you know, give it a rating on a scale one to ten. Give me what you thought was the best and maybe the most surprising.
And if you want to go into the worst to be a negative Nancy, you know, or a negative Ken, go ahead in some people's cases and just let us know what did you right off the bat? What was your rating for the show? My rating for Revolution, I would have to give it a ten out of ten. I liked everything about it. My favorite match would have to be will Osprey and Takeshta. I think that was fantastic. Yeah, and I was a little bit surprised that FTR lost.
I had picked them to win. One of my other favorite things was when Darby Allen went through that glass panel. Oh yeah, I was higher table. I'm sure you to do. I mean, I expect him to do crazy things, but that really really took it over the top, And did you see how many stitches he got? Twelve? I think twelve. I would have thought he would have gotten like thirty two. That was like a third of what I thought he was. I'm sorry, but go ahead.
I just thought it was amazing. Twelve stitches. Yeah, I've honestly, I for a minute there, I thought he had died. Honestly, when he wasn't moving and they weren't putting the camera over on that side on purpose, I thought he was really out of there. But yeah, and let's see, uh what else. I was really hyped for that Eddie Kingston Danielson match, and I was a little disappointed with it. I thought it could have been a little bit better there. It seemed like something was missing.
What do you? Could you pinpoint? Because I unfortunately didn't see it. I had to go get, you know, some stuff out of my ears and it took the entire match. But anyway, what was missing in your opinion? Well, you know, I have been looking at at Eddie a little more critically since you and I have been discussing it, and I know that you are not an Eddie fan, so I have been trying to look at things from the other side. Of the fence, so to speak,
and I thought that he could have brought a little bit more. He just seemed to, like you pointed out a couple of times to me, be doing the same kind of moves, the same kind of action, and I felt almost like Danielson was holding back a little bit. I just something about it seemed a little off with the two of them. I'm I don't know, so yeah, again, I didn't see to imagine. Was it a chemistry thing? Do you think they didn't that they lacked chemistry together? I
maybe that's what it was. It just I don't know. It seemed like there was a lot of hype around it, so maybe it just didn't live up to the hype that had been there. And I expected the whole time that Eddie was going to win, and I feel like they kind of gave it away when they put that handshake stipulation on it. So there was no surprise to anything. I mean, you know, Danielson's gonna come out and he's gonna kick somebody. You know, Eddie's gonna flip somebody. There was
no wow moment in that match. It was a straight up match. Yeah. Basically it was basically if I'm reading you right. It sounded to me like you got what you expected, but because it was a pay per view, maybe you wanted a little bit more. That's it. That's that's exactly it. Okay, that's fair. That's fair, all right. So if you know, mon, I'm just gonna go ahead and move on to m MK and Thatt if you want to ask MK a question, and Sutton also,
you know, feel free to break in uh into the discussion. So MKA, you know, rate this Revel Solution pay per view on a scale one to ten? What did you think was the best? Would surprise you? And maybe if you have a worst, what was the worst? N MK, you got an unmute to talk. I needed myself. I love the pay per view, I'm gonna say in eight point five great overall, I really like I said, I really love like she said. I I really love to talk Takashka and Osprey. That was great. There are some
really Solow matches. I really love the world title match, so that's awesome as well. You know, it was good. I I'm not a fan of multi man matches, so I didn't like to scramble. I figured Wardlow was gonna win. Anyway, but I just don't like them. There's too many people and it felt weird and it felt I thought it sink and I is wrestling. I don't know what else to call it. It was not
necessary. I thought it was entertaining, but I thought overall the match was just filler and unnecessary because you knew Warlow was gonna win its every but and something. Do you agree with that too, did you? Yeah? My problem with the match was there was no need to put Jericho and the smaller guys in that match, because my saying, yeah, if you took those four out and you left it just at the four big guys, it's a hell of a match. But it was weird to me though. Yeah,
it was weird. Okay, sorry, you'll get your okay, I just look okay, yeah, uh sorry. Uh. I just feel honestly that it kind of felt synchronized because at one point it was all the big men in and then somehow all the big men got out. It was a four little man in and it was just so synchronized and so bad. I didn't mind the women's title match. It kind of it's kind of a slow pace,
but honestly I felt that it was good for what it was. The two could have been a lot more built Its built up so big that I think it could have been a lot bigger, And I don't want to nitpick, but I was not a super fan of the way the whole thing's last Max went down, with the glass breaking and stuff. I thought it was a little over the top and a little corny at times, was seeing getting all the offense and stuff like that. But like I said, I'm a
huge fan. I'm glad he did what he did and the way he went out, but it felt a little corny to me with old Man's being being the craft out of two younger guys like that, But I would have was Was there anything of you that was surprising to you? Surprising? No? I thought it was a very good match. I knew that the Tavaschina mask and Osprey was gonna be good, but I didn't know it was gonna be that good. That was a match of the Knight for me. Right,
Okay, that's fair, let's go to Sutton. Go ahead and rank this between one and ten and decimal points are allowed. And you know, like everybody else did, give me like your best and maybe the one that surprised, the match that surprised you, or the moments that surprised you, and if you have a worse share that with us too. Okay, Uh, i'd given an eight. I the beginning of the match. The beginning matches were just they didn't seem like they were pay per view worthy. The meat
match or the Scramble could have been gone. The FTR and BCC match, it was just another match. It didn't really need to be on the pay per view until you got to the offspring to catch just match there was. That was That's when it started, and then it picked up steam and went to the end. Uh. That was that. I mean, that's gonna be everybody's favorite matches the night. I believe because that match was unbelievable. Somebody said this only march from where he got a match of the of the
Year candidate, and that's gonna be hard to talk. I really do believe that the women's match was Okay, it's about what I expected. The Statlander match, that was kind of what I expected. It wasn't It was a pretty good match. I didn't have a problem with the Eddie and uh the Eddie match, I thought that was a decent match to this thing. I get where MK is coming from, but it was it was the best way,
first thing to go out. I think they did that perfectly. Uh yeah, I get the fact that that people may say, well, it was a young you know, and meeting up two young guys, but that's thing. Thing's always been that way in most of his matches. If he's not if he's winning, he's gonna make that kind of thing. And they said, I think they sent him off, right. I did like the I kind of wish they would have did the opposite way with the suns because
the surfer dude looked good. The other guy was a little too small, you know what I mean. So I don't know. I was pretty I was pretty happy with it. But I believe, like like MK said, I believe thet the scramble was probably the worst of the match of the night. Okay, I'll get my thoughts. I thought it was a nine point five. I do agree with you that the first couple of matches were kind
of fillerish, but they served a purpose and they were fine. I actually enjoyed the eight man match, and I am not one that likes the eight man matches. I don't like multi man matches. I don't like Trio's matches. I just don't enjoy them as much. When I say I don't like him, but that's not true. It's that I don't enjoy them as much. They're two convoluted and there's too much going on and there's no way if
you're watching from home they can keep up with it. I disagree with you totally about Stings sons because the guy who was the son Steven that was Wolfpack Sting is far, far, far, far bigger than the guy that was Surfer Sting. He's absolutely jacked. You can go his name is Stephen Borden Junior and you go on his YouTube and he basically does work out YouTube videos
and he is massive. Yeah, Takesha and Osprey were the was the match in a night for me, and the World Championship match was really good. It exceeded my expectations, and that's what I kind of wanted to say about this pay per view. Even though I wasn't really looking forward per se to the eight man match, it exceeded my expectations. I really wasn't too much into the FTR and the BCC match, but again it exceeded my expectations.
I gave the pay per view a nine point five, and the only reason I gave it a nine point five was because of the Women's World Championship match, not that it was a bad match. After I rewatched it, it was a decent match, but did not come anywhere close to my expectations, and it was misplaced. It didn't keep up with the flow of all the other matches on the pay per view where it was action action, action action and just find out do themselves and uh, and I just felt that it
was to stay. I think they tried to do a technical match and they didn't and it didn't work on that level, and it just got to be a point where it was just a grappling match that, you know, frankly, was very boring, especially when you keep in mind that you know, as we said on the previous podcast, we did a poll with the aw fan up community. We pulled the uh you know, the members here, and I think one person in the entire aaw fan up community now you can't
remember it's what it was. But with one of our podcasters thought that the po something, Yeah, it wasn't you picked somebody picked the out of Parazzo to win, and you were the only one to do so. Out of hundreds of votes across Reddit and YouTube and threads and blue Sky and Twitter, one person in the entire community picked the pazzo. Yeah. Well, you know, hey, it's it's any given Sunday, right, and it was on Sunday, so it could have happened. Hey, I got I guess
I might find kind of funny. We talked about the pay per view, all of us, not one person mentioned the T n T title match. Well, it was it was a it was a serviceable match, But I honestly feel like Danny Danny Garcia was substitute. Yeah, and and like we said before we were talking earlier, I think that that ended. It seemed like it just it was rolling along and then it just died and it was over, and it was just like, this don't make any sense. I
think there was. I think something had to have happened, at least it's the way it seemed to me. Getting involved, I got over it. I mean, once mother Wayne got involved and one and and stuff, I figured out that it was going to be the same old, same old. That's why I really think it's time for a change that belt. But I
don't. I don't see it happening though. Well, uh, speaking of belts, we're going to talk about a few of the championship belts in a W. And here's one of the interesting facts about the Revolution pay per view. Now, they weren't all in title matches, but of the eight championship belts in ae W and if you want to say FTW championship and make it nine, every single title holder in a W did participate in one form or
the other in a match at Revolution, So that was good. Of course, we're a couple in in the in the zero hour, but we're we're going to talk about some of the belts. We're all going to take one belt and talk about what we see happening or what we would like to happen in the near future. And we're going to go to net first and let her talk about the belt that she chose to talk about. Go ahead, and that Okay, I chose to talk about the tag team belts. I
like tag team wrestling a lot. I always have. It's just really good stuff. When you have two people that have good chemistry, that know each other really well and work together to win matches. I think a good example of that is FTR and Mox and Claudio. I think they are good examples of tag team at teams that work really well together. I'd like to see
AEW do more with their tag team wrestling in general. They have some other groups of people that are really good together and that they could push a little
bit more, build up a little bit more. And I think now is a really good opportunity for that to happen since the belt has been vacated by Tony Kahan, So I think there's a real opportunity for some good competition and I hope to see them make that happen and it doesn't fall into Everybody fight the Young Bucks and every week FTR and Blackpool Combat Club is having some kind of disagreement. I hope they get to showcase all of the other tag teams
that they have. Let me ask you a Let me ask you a question real quick, because we've talked about this on the podcast before, but I don't know if I've ever spoken to you specifically about that about this. And the question is do you feel like the trios titles and all the teams that are in the trios titles take away from the tag title in other words, what I'm saying is, Okay, so you have the guns they're not a tag team because they're in the trios. You have the acclaim they're not a
tag team because they're in the trios. And of course you've had other trios teams that were not participating in tag matches because they were trios in the past, like Desk Triangles, the Elite, et cetera. So the question is do you think that the Do you think that that's an issue. Do you think that the trios title is taking away from the tag titles? I do. I think so, because it's it's too much going on. I mean every now and then. To have a trios match would make things interesting.
But to put a lot of the tag teams in with a third person and have them fight for that belt steams the little over the top, I guess is a good word. I prefer that they keep it to the tag team matches and let it go from there. So yeah, that's how I think about it. Okay, I'm going to move on to MK now and he's going to talk about the title that he chose to speak about, and I have some I actually have a pretty pretty straight forward question to ask you too.
If you don't bring it up in your discussion, go ahead. I'm kay. Well, look, I I really love this belt from the beginning, even though it changed from I don't remember what it was called in the beginning. But what what belt are we talking about? The Intercontinental Belt? I used to be called something else. I can't remember what it was. It used to be called the inter Well, what what was it called? Was it? Because it's not the Intercontinental Belt, it's at the International Belt
something like that. Yeah, yeah, it was Atlantic belt. That's called the it's called the International Belt. Yeah yeah, I'm sorry. So I like the idea of it, but that but the riginal idea was a travel and the number one thing that needs to stay away from the international title is Orange Cassidy. I love the guy. He's a star. He's made it what it is. But I began the joke in the chat lafetime for the pay per view was that his his ring gear needs to start, including the
Kinetic Cape. He's always beaten up, he's always he's always the underdog in it, and that's great, but I think it's time for Orange Cassidy to move on from that. Though I don't want to see him come back and go for it again. On the other hand, the person who thought of that pay per view I'm not a fan of. I want to like the guy. He's a war coorse, but he bores me to tears. He was okay when he was doing the screaming people's name. I got to chuckle
out of that. But I just want that title to go back to where it needs to be on someone who is fun to watch, who who has the move, who can take it overseas and be fine with it. What's Orange Cassidy did? Like I said, he's he's fun to watch, but he's growing still. I'd love to see him go more of a tween your persona anyway, but that's a different time and place for that. But the person I talked about last week that needs to get it is Will Osprey.
He would be great to send them places. As he's shown on the pay per view, he can put on a mask with just about anybody and make it look good. He's fantastic. He looks so dank smooth. I don't know who to compare the dude to, but he is phenomenal his attitude, he can be healed, he can be face and if we're paying him all this money to come over, he needs a title, and that's the title
to do. I don't think and he and t is it. But if he can be on every week and do his thing, it's great to put him in that match and have him be the guy the face of the International division. Now, well, you know what you said just to beget this off, was actually related to the questions that I wanted to ask you and the others could jump in too after you answer MK. You called the international
title at the beginning of your discussion the intercontinental title. Yes, uh, my question was directly related to what you said in that what's the difference between the international title and the continental title? And you know, we've talked about this before in the podcast and in the community, and a lot of people say there is no difference and they should just combine them in the one belt.
What do you feel about that? What's the different between in w W the no the Continental title that Eddie Kingston is currently h and the international title that Roderick Strong now has. Okay, I got you, what's what's what's the difference? I mean they should be they should be the same title. You have a point there. I haven't thought about that. The other one came along, and I think they wanted that to be inter promotional too,
So I don't know, that's a good question. I don't see the need for that that belt anyway, to be quite honest with you, which belt are you talking about? The the Continental Collapse Classic or whatever it's called. I don't I don't see a purpose for that. I'm not a big and but yes, they you know, they could have left that alone and then let and then join in the r O H and whatever other one and then New Japan. But that one's going to credit anyway, because no one's even
mentioned just the international flavor with it. So right, maybe you have a point. Maybe they didn't need to. You're making a good point because when you have something that's called the continental title and the international title and they're fighting basically the same people week after week, both of the groups basically, and they're not taking it international or continental, what's the point. But I agree
with you. The Continental title for me, and I don't know how I'd like to get the other people's opinions on this, but for me, the Continental title specifically had a really great tournament and then as soon as the tournaments over, it should have been handled like the Owen Hart Tournament. The other belt should never have been attached to it because that that title is absolutely one meaningless. It's the reason why one of the reasons why when I mean it's
phoned in. I mean, you know who's gonna win every time, you know, you know Eddie's not gonna lose it. What's the point watching it? And that's the reason why I didn't watch the match between Eddie Kingston and Brian Danielson because there was no point in watching it at all. So I know you're king Stefander, you did mention something about it, But do you think that the international title the continental title should be combined? Who mean yes, oh, sorry, yes, I do. I think that it should
be. It's the same belt running around on two different people who are doing the exact same things, So I think so. And also when that belt was one in the Owen Heart Cup, it seems like it should just kind of stays there and be an honor that is talked about. And you know, everybody knows you won that tournament, and it's great and it's fantastic, but you don't need to parade a belt around all year for it. That's how I think about it. Yeah, yeah, I mean the Continental title.
I mean the Continental tournament for me, and I'm going to go to Sutton next But for me, the Continental tournament was far better than the on a hard tournament and taking nothing away from the O Heart turnment because that was fine too. But at the end of the day, they're not really I'm sorry, I don't consider it the one hard tournament winner a title holder. They want a tournament, and I feel the same way about the Continental title.
They're not a They're not a title holder. They won a tournament, you know, I think about it, you know, And that they attached the R o H title and the DO Japan title to the Continental title is just I'm sorry, it's for me, it's stupid. But elf, what are your thoughts on this? Let me disagree with you all. Okay, here's the difference they had between the two. The Continental title. The reason
they this is where I this is my take on it. The reason they attached the two other titles to it is that title will be defended in one of three places, aw R O H or New Japan. The International title can be defended anywhere. That's the difference in the three titles. That's that's the biggest difference between them all. I have not yet seen they have not yet taken it anywhere else, but that to me is generally why they did
the continental title. It's going to be repeated every year. It's going to have a different next year because whoever the AAW champion is is going to be included in it. So that's where I see it coming from. I you know, I don't know. I think that I wouldn't combine them because then you're you're and a lot of the times they did this because they wanted more titles. I mean, let's be honest, they have maybe one too many titles. You know, we talked about the triple the title, the the
six Man titles earlier. I think that they're gonna end up getting rid of one of those in a combination night somewhere, either be the R O H or the AW ones because they don't both need one. Yeah, so I think it's gonna be I think what's gonna end up happening at the end of this Bang Bang scissor Gang. I think what's gonna end up happening is the way it seems right now, is you're for the tag team tournament that's coming up, They're going to split them up and it's going to be Daddy Ass
going to the Bang Bang and the Acclaim becoming the Acclaim again. That's just how I see it happening. And then they're gonna end up having all the titles and they'll figure out what's doing from there. But I kind of like the way they have it. You're probably ramk about Orange. I love Orange Cassidy. I think he's one of the best we got and he did elevate that title as the highest you can but he does need to take a break.
I mean, he's been wrestling for how long he's defended that thing, like thirty sometimes, so you know, he does need to have a break. I think if you get the titles, the Continental title off of Eddie and put it on somebody else like Okada or Jay White or anybody that's more into the other areas, that it will make it better. Yeah. Well,
I'm gonna make one more point on this. I mean, one day announced the Continental title, they did that Brackets announcement show on YouTube, and at that time, that was when Eddie came out and said that he's putting up his NJPWN ROH titles up. And then they did the brackets all right, And I looked at the brackets at that very first day before the before the tournament even started, and I said, Okay, the brackets look really
good and there's gonna be some really enjoyable matches in this bracket. But we know that Eddie Kingston's already gonna win, because there's no way they're going to take those titles off of Eddie Kingston for this. So you went into the tournament knowing that Eddie Kingston was going to win. As a matter of fact, I also predicted that Eddie Kingston was going to lose his first match because they had to make him an underdog. So they come back and win it.
Ra rah Ree kick him in the raw, row Rask kick him in the other day kind of thing, you know what I mean? So well, and that's the thing with Eddie. You know, they they you knew it was gonna happen, and that sometimes comes in to be a problem for aw in general. They do a lot of things that you already know what's gonna happen, but the story is what they try to build. Yeah, but the story is meaningless if you already know the ending. But anyway,
that's my point, and I'm not talking down on that particular title. I'm talking down on a lot of the titles. You get a lot of matches where you just know that the story is meaningless because there's no no way that this wrestler is going to beat the champion or whatever. But anyway, Uh, so we're gonna go to Elf Sutton here now, and uh you're going to talk about the EBS title. I believe, so go for it. So we've got four women that are in for the in in this convoluted area.
For the TBS title. You've got Stat who's the former champ. You've got uh my name, the names are gonna go from me right now, and uh Willow who is her partner, And they've been tagging up with Julia and sky Blue. But honestly, I'm hoping that they're going to I don't I have a problem with with uh their their their manager. He just he's just so smarty. I just don't. I don't like him being with Willow and and and Stat because it just doesn't fit. I just don't see it
fitting well. I see. I see that by the time the next pay per view comes. I'm kind of hoping that stat is kind of whittled off because she's had it. She's better than that. She doesn't need that title anymore. She needs to go towards the women's title that she just needs to be completely out of that and it needs to come down to Willow, Guy Blue, and Julia. I don't want to see a three way title match, but it might come. But I definitely would like to see maybe the
next pay per view having Willow versus Julia for the title. I think that would be an awesome match. I think that could be They could build that up where halfway through they could have the Sky kind of either go back to helping Willow or something could happen there. But we know that they like to do three way matches for titles, so there might end up being a three way between Julia Sky and her. I don't know, but that's what I
would like to see happening. That's how I actually see it happening. But we'll figure I guess we'll see in the future. Well, let me go to that real quick and just ask you point blank. I mean, who would you like to see be Julia Hart's next real challenger. You mean, like a pay per view worthy challenger for Dynasty, say for the TPS title or Julia Heart. Ooh, I don't know. I really don't know. So there lies a problem too, you know, Yeah, you know?
So I mean if you don't know, you don't know and bad that that could be a bad thing. It could be a good thing. Okay, do you have anybody in mind that maybe, you know, hypothetically could chase you challenge Julia Hard at say Dynasty in April. I think he's a nail on the head. There's not a lot of young people I'd like to see
eventually adding on with it. But my thing is, and I think when it first came out, that title seem punk was against it because it didn't make sense, and I'm and I hate to agree with the guy, but I kind of do. I would rather see that title be a the TBS Women's Tag Team because there's plenty of women in the Vision Showcase and I would rather have that in there than having two women's titles because there's not enough talent.
Maybe when Mercedes and then get in there, there'll be more people, and maybe that's something that I may could have, but uh, there's just not enough people in that division to make it work or that I care about enough. I don't care too much about Sky. I love Willow, but I think she is right up right up there for the other division. So I mean, I don't that is not enough people and that I care about that. I want to see the belt. Well. The problem with Willow
is that Julie has already beat her twice. I believe, I know she's beat her once, and I believe pretty much everybody is beat Willow. I mean, if you look at her record from last year, she lost a lot of matches, she really did, and so she's not a championship world championship contender to me. I'm gonna throw a name out there that I think should be would be a good contender, and that's Mariah May. I think Mariah May would be perfect in the TBS title, that would be perfect as
a champion as well. Because I do think that eventually, really soon, as a matter of fact, probably I may even go so far as to
say it may be announced. A big business is I think that the ROH six Man and the AW Trios Championship are going to have the unification match that was brought up, and I also think that the AW women's tag team title belts will be announced, and I think that it's really really something that AW really needs because we already know that they're going to be because of Mercedes Modet, they're going to be putting more women on TV, which I am one
behind, but it's not going to work if they're going to be on TV fighting in essentially meaningless matches or squash matches where you know who's going to win win before the match cands. So here here's my thoughts on that, and it goes back to the history of wrestling. I know everybody loves the women's matches, but look at like WWE up until the last few years didn't have
a lot of women's matches. Hell, they didn't have a Devas division for a long time, because the thought has always been women's matches do not bring ratings. They don't. That's one of the reasons why there's so few of them on TV. With the women's division. There's a lot of people that that that are like Mariah, you have her, you have DEEB, you have Rijo, you have uh, You've got what's her? Name the Kendo
girl. I can't think of names right now. You have you have Chidah, you have Statlander, you have sky Blue, you have Willow, you have that's seven right there. Well, so y'all don't forget that. You're also talking about you know, Meggan Main, who is like contract she'll be coming and she's definitely contenter. You Kazakazaki is a title holder from t jp W. You've got You've got the you know, of course versites money coming. Yeah, you've got the chances of Camille coming in and Camille is a
top ten wrestler in the world. Is yeah, herself and Queen Amanada. But my point about that is this, you said there's not enough to have both those titles. That's not true because you have eleven. If you take away one of those titles, you have eleven women fighting for one title. Even if you have a tag team, it's not going to be the same. It's going to be eleven women who deserve or have a shot at becoming
a champion with one title. So instead of having like the TVs title it I think it's necessary because once you do get back to a full roster of women and you get back to the point where you're going to have more women on TV if you make it, because if you only have you can only have a few women going after title of the time, you know, so if you take away one of those women's titles, you kind of bottleneck them into Okay, well, this month's gonna be it's gonna be Queen Amanada and
uh whoever. And next month it's gonna be stat Lander versus this person, and you're gonna bottle it up. So they kind of need that. But I agree they do need a women's tag team titles. I think that would be great. They need to care about that well. And the problem was, like everybody always said, you know they had, the biggest problem was and I won't go too far into it, but during the pandemic, you had so few women that could wrestle because everybody was hurt. So but suck.
Look at it right now, you've got so many women that are out with injury. You still you know, you didn't bring up Britt Baker, you didn't bring up Jamie Hayter. You know, question you didn't bring you because they've been gone so long. You didn't even bring up thunder Ross or Serena Deep I know, because it's the mindset because these women have been missing for so long. But here's the problem with that. Here's the problem with that. I didn't say Baker for a reason, and you know why,
that is right. Some people like britt some people don't. That's fine, you know. I try to stay off of that when I when I came because I don't like her. I never did like her, and I think she was the worst champion they ever had. And it was like with the TBS title, you had it on somebody else that they wanted to put that on stat Lander. In the beginning, it was supposed to be like a couple of weeks maybe for Cardio to have it, but then that got hurt.
Yes, Jamie Hayter will be great when she comes back, and you can add another name. I wasn't trying to name everybody, but I was just making the point that there are there that makes even if you put Baker in that run in that I think he would be fine in the TBS title picture, but not in the women's title because she had it, she don't
need it again. But you know that Puts is a thirteen or fourteen, which makes even more for the point of you can't get rid of that title, because if you do, that's more women you're gonna have, you know what I mean, it's gonna bottle things up, and you're just gonna make it where you're gonna have so many matches that don't mean anything. You're gonna have whoever's in that much that for that cycle, whoever the is gonna be
going. Let's say when Jamie Hater comes back and she's the person they bring back and they let her get in with and she's going for the world title. That at least for thirteen other women who might be on TV, but their matches are meaningless. So at least if you have an extra title like the TVs title, you have something to put them out there for so you can have more meaningful matches. That's just the way I see it, right, I agree with you. Go ahead, you want to jump in.
You know, here's here's a problem. I don't have all these wrestlers but not enough TV time. I think that this is this is my opinion. They need to make a utube show devoted to the female wrestlers so that they can get more on there yet to know them and stuff like that. Because all the Whistler's coming on end and then you're gonna have a whole roster full of guys to get on TV on two different shows. And it got to make ram Page. We don't forget you, stole you. You have a
rig of honor too. Unfortunately, unfortunately when they joint, when they got this TV deal, they were told they put no content anywhere else but on television through the TV deal. So that's why they got rid of Dark and Dark and Dark, and that that was why it went away, is because the company that the TV title was said, the TV deal said, you want the deal, you got to put your content. Everything you make goes
on us. But I agree with you one hundred percent. It was so much better when you had Dark and Dark Elevation because you could put you could do five hundred matches on there if you want to two in a week and you get everybody's yeah, all right, well let's let's move on. But unless that has something to say, Oh I'm sorry, I was going to say, there's a point about Willow Nightingale that I think a lot of people miss. Will O Nightingale beat Mercedes Monette, Yes, and kind of well,
no one talks about it no one hypes her up. I I kind of don't like the way they market Willow. I think that she could be a lot stronger, and they kind of make her this silly, bubbly kind of person running around happy to see everybody, when honestly, I think she could beat the crap out of most of the women's division. I'm going to be honest with you here. I love Willow Nightingale, but Nightingale is perfect for a tag team division because Willow Nightingale can't go five bit us without getting
completely gassed, and that's a fact. YE to work on her, and I think pairing her with Stantlander is a good idea. But I think if she just did a little bit more, she'd be a lot better. And and she's definitely over. You can't argue that. Well. That's That's like with like Oors Cassidy. Everybody's talking about you got you got in the title and he had it for so long, But he's one of the most over people in the business right now. You know what I mean, he had
you. It doesn't matter what he's doing, he's over. And you have a lot of people like that that are that are over that it's it's just like Will. I love Will. I think she's a great wrestler. I don't think that's going to be a problem for her. She had the title, she took from they, but when they got hurt and she's been on r O H. So you know, I just I don't know. We'll see what happens, like I guess. But that's that's a good point though. Yeah, we'll move on. But there is one point that I want
to make. But did you have something to add? Go ahead, No, No, I was I was saying, Okay, I agree there. But the one thing that I do want to say is that if you look at the quarterly breakdowns of the wrestling shows, women aw women, specifically Julia Hart in particular, bring in the ratings, their ratings gold. You know, they get the highest amount of ratings on Collision when Julia is on. There have been a few weeks where when her segment had the highest ratings or
the second highest ratings on the entire show. So I don't want people to it bothers me when people say that women don't get ratings. What doesn't get ratings is bad promotion. If you promote anything right, you're going to get the ratings, and it just so happens is that some of the most over wrestlers in AW right now are women. You know, you've got to give them credit. They work their tails off, They got the recognition for themselves.
They just have to be used properly and given the chance to spread their wings. But I want to move on to We've got two matches we could talk about on AW Dynamite and and but you know, look the the AW Dynamite tomorrow night is in Well they keep saying it's Atlanta, but it's really not. It's about forty five minute minutes northwest of Atlanta, northeast of Atlanta. I'm sorry and d Luth Georgia, but I guess you could say it's
the Atlanta metropolitan era area. But tomorrow night we're getting a new look for Dynamite. We've already revealed on the AW fan hubb read it, you know, a couple of weeks ago. It seems like the new Dynamite logo, which if you haven't seen it, just think go Go Power Rangers and you're you've nailed it. And uh, and of course we're looking at new colors. It went from a what are the colors now are like a blue purple, you know, that kind of dark color. Now they're going to look
like a reddish rose tint with some yellow and white. So yeah, we're gonna have to redo our logos and everything for aw Fanom if this isn't in fact the case, but anyway, because all of our aw Fanom logos are purple and you know, various colors of purple and violet and pink, I guess. But uh so we're having that. But then we're having the matches, and one of the matches is Will Osprey against Kyle Fletcher and net.
I mean, do you think that something is gonna happen here that will maybe further well not even well, we didn't see really much dissension in the Callus family, but do we think that we're going to see some dissension into Kallus family with this match? I don't know. It's hard to say. I thought there were gonna be shenanigans with the Osprey to Cashta match, So it's I don't know. I'm having a hard time reading exactly what they're up to,
and I don't trust anything that Don Callus is involved in. So you know what, let me ask you this that because we just saw the Takeshta at Osbury match, okay, and it was I mean, we all agreed it was the match of the night. So having a little bit of dissension between Callus and it was a predictable dissension between Callous and Ausbury or Callous in two Keshta, that may take it away from the match itself that we just just blew us away. Would you agree with that statement? Yeah, yeah,
I can see that. And I I really thought that Taqushta was going to have some resentment and that he was going to just walk away from the Callous family and be done with everything and everybody, and you know, kind of come back on a vengeance streak. Who knows, he still might, but I don't. I don't know what to make of it. It's it's really hard for me to tell what's gonna happen when Don Callous is involved. He he always gets one over on me, So I don't know. Yeah,
I really do. Do you think Mark Davis makes an appearance tomorrow night? He might, Yeah, he might. He might be there for his good buddy, So yeah, the good buddies may get back together and form the United Empire. So you know that's you know, so let's go. I mean, you heard what that had to say, what I have to say? Okay, what do you what are you thinking about this? Do you think we basically dissension in the Don Callis family? Do you think that
Mark Davis may come? Do you think that the United Empire is destined to be reformed soon? I think it's going to be a slow burning. I if I was booking it, I think I would love to see little Osprey be the face and bring the house of Don Kallas to its knees and and end it, because if you look at it, you really have not been in on the attacks of Jericho. That not. He's still kind of friends ish with Jericho. So all this stuff that Callous has done with the beat
down stuff, any answer, he's sole friends with Kenny and stuff. So I see him him slowly but surely working and inside and hopefully taking out Don Callas and read us of the of the answer that his Don Callas. Praise Hellelujah. And every time you think Callous is gone, he's back every single time. And he's a heat magnet. He's a heat magnet, but he's he's like the a W S T d Oh, yes, yes, but but the problem is he has so much heat. He just walked there.
He didn't even have to be in charge of anybody. He just comes out on the stage. He has heat automatically. So you know, that's one of those things that's so that I I hate to say it, but that's what makes him money. Is that's true? Yeah, I mean you gotta you gotta can at the callous I mean when he comes out, like something just said, when he comes out he doesn't even have to get anywhere near a microphone on the crowd just it's like lust It's like a lusty. Can
you think of anybody that's ever been like that? I can't. I tried. I was thinking about that the other day. I'm thinking, from all the rest thing I've ever watched in my life, I cannot think of one person that has the ability to have that much hate put on him that quickly, other than Don Kallas back in his heyday. Rick Flair was able to do that. But you know, here's the thing about a W fans.
This aw fans show the talent in ADW respect. How many times you've seen the biggest heel in the company like when Chris Jericho was the biggest heel. You know, they paid h respect when he came out. They were singing his song and they were cheering him like crazy. But as soon as he stepped of the ring, the booze started. But they still made time to cheer for Jericho. They made time to cheer for Kenny Omego when he was
a mega heel. They make time to cheer for a lot of the established wrestlers who are heels in a w They do the same thing for Christian Cage. But you know, Don Kallas, he's just he's friend. He's a whole other animal. So but no, if I wanted to give you a chance to talking about it a little, honestly, has the the United Empire actually been broken up? I don't think they're really. I mean they still do this hands on, and I don't think they've ever officially said we're done.
They just kind of were in separate places. True, And of course Mark Davis has been entered twice. So I agree with m K. I think it's going to be a slow burn. I see that, the pushing, like the whole thing with he's gonna face, you know, he's gonna face Kyle Fletcher. Tomorrow, I'm figuring on collision, will probably be Will and then who's left. That's it. So by that time I believe I think you're right, Kelsey, and I think that Mark Davis is going to
be in tomorrow night. I don't know when he has anybody heard when he's supposed to be back. Is he cleared yet or is he still in there. I looked it up actually last week, the beginning of last week, so it's been about ten days or so since since I did look it up, and it just said that, you know, he had heard what was at his wrist, and they said that he's close. That's all that they said, and there was really no specifics given on the timetable. I think
that he'll be back, even in support. I see, like I said, he'll go up against Will Hobbes next weekend or maybe next next Wednesday. And I see that once that gets to that point, I don't know how they're gonna do it, but I see I see the United Empire. I see Takesha going on his own and possibly even adding maybe Will Hobbs to the United Empire, because I honestly I think Will Hobbs is a star regardless.
I mean, everybody says it, but I think he could be like so big if they just I don't know that he necessarily needs a group, but it's it's so hard to put in the way it would benefit from a group that could actually help him. He might stand out right. I just I don't. I don't know. It's just it's just the landscape. It sort of seems like the landscape of a w is to me. It's like it's
set, it's gonna be. These are gonna be what's there. There's gonna be very few changes in the land overall landscape, but they have the opportunity for things like once this is broken up, you could have Will Hobbs go and be with the Bang Bang Ganang or anybody. Really. I mean, he's fit anywhere. Let me give you an assessment that I've had of Will Hobbs for quite a while now, basically since I saw him. When you see him and he's staring at the camera, he looks menacing. He has
that snarl on his face all the time. But I don't know what it is, but I really get the impression that Will Hobbs in real life, he just gives me the impression and he's like the single nicest guy in the world that loves to laugh and probably loves children and has like no affinity for kitty kats and puppy dogs and long walks in the park, you know, and watching sunsets with his significant other. You know. I don't know what it is about him, but he just seems like a pussy cat to me.
That gigantic if you look at all the things that people say about him, that's exactly how he is. I've seen I've seen fans that talk about him when they see him in the line or if they've met him somewhere, and that's exactly what he is. His his character, Will Hobbs in the character is not the Will Hobbes of real life because he's a big teddy bear. He's a big, huge teddy bear. He is supposed to be one
of the nicest guys. And I mean, honestly, when there's been a couple of times in backstage vignettes and stuff that he's been in it, you kind of can see that a little bit. Oh yeah, definitely, But but he kind of gives me the feel of a guy that would be And I don't know how people feel about him, but like a combination between like Goldberg right back and uh, there's somebody else I'm missing, I'm not sure who, and like Rhino, he's this huge guy that is just he's to
me, he seems like he's got an endless uh endless limit. He's limited this and what he could do. Yeah, but he's being you know, being with Callus is not getting him anywhere because they talk about to Questia. Now they're going to talk about uh Osprey and where's that need him? Yeah, well, let's let's move on to uh the other match for Dynamite. You know, Dynamite is a fallout show, so those that will probably be a lot of screaming and yelling back and forth and probably some different challenges.
But the other match that has been set, and since the time we started this recording, there may have been one or two more matches set. I don't know, but we have Chris Statlander against Rijo and this one is very interesting to me and I do have some thoughts on this, but I wanted to get why. You know, first question really is why Statlander Rio Net What are you thinking when you hear that match? What's the first thing that comes to mind. For you, they seem mismatched, but they both are
very good in their own respects. I think that they're trying to push Rijo again, get her elevated, get her up there. There's something big on the horizon for her, So this very well may play into it. Maybe she'll challenge Stokely to a match and end up beating him up. So if you look at the if you look at the aw fat hub subreddit that there is a video of a infant literally chopping Stokely Hathway and stoke goes goes to
the convulsions. It's great. But anyway, yeah, so yeah, I mean, let's kind of let's go to MK and get his thoughts on this stat Lander Rejo match. You know, at the pay per view, I notice that they're trying to make just have Stokely turn her heel, and I think that's what they're going for, and I think that's why maybe her versus really most competitive. And I think once again he tried to get her to cheat and and and use it for an object or something, and that's going
to keep on driving that wedge. SAT doesn't want to become it. But I think that will help, you know, I hate to say it, but I would think that may help her character a little bit because she she's gotten to be that alien and she's been that this and that, but she needs that edge, and I think that's what Stokely's trying to do. But that's the reason I think is on the card, really really really good point. Okay, very much online what I'm meant to say, uh so,
elf, what do we got? I don't know why they're having this match other than the fact that they want to get Rio in the match. I honestly I love Rehill. I think what she has done for wrestling and what she's done in a w is amazing. I don't think that you're going to find a smaller wrestler out there, men or women than her, and she's been aw champion. I I don't like I think, and honestly, I think Statlanders might be at this present time the best all around wrestler they having
the women's division. She can do everything. I've always liked her. I've always thought that she has. She doesn't get used right, sometimes, she doesn't get pushed right sometimes, I think to m case point, I think it's more or less he's trying to He's going to I think Stokely is going to try to start putting a wedge between not not her and turning her heel, but her and Willow to kind of break that a play. I don't know what he's and that's just how I see it happening, and I hope
it happens that way, but I don't know. I like it. I mean, it's gonna be a good match. It might even better than they other match tomorrow night. Yeah. I mean, look, you guys made really good points, and it kind of bleeds into what I'm going to say. When you look at Rio. Rio is one of the most consistent baby faces in the women's division. She's never had a moment really in aw where
she's had like a heelish aura around her. You can't say that about all the other pretty much all the other wrestlers, they've all had a heel moment. So I agree that stoke I think this is going to culminate in a decision first for Statlander, because putting Statlander against Rio is going to make Statlander
make a decision and possibly make Willo make a decision. Uh on what the heck is going on with that little probably effected group that they've had they have going on, and I think that story wise, this is going to be interesting. Yeah, Rio is I said this before and I'll say it to say it again. There's not many wrestlers smarter than Riho. As far as Hike goes, there's only I mean, believe it or not, Abadon, Gira Hogan. They're all they're both shorter than Rio. Rio is taller.
Of course, Rio weighs like one hundred pounds and they're a little bit heavier, so they got a little bit of size on even the other shorter. But the problem is is again is that Riho is the consummate babyface and she's
one that you can't help but the cheer for. And seeing Rio be the victim of a stokey, stokely hat the way sneak attack, I guess is the best way of it is uh not going to go over really well with the crowd, and just see I just want to see how it goes over with Statlander and with Willow, and I think that's what to me, I think that's where this match should be concentrated on. Are we going to see a turn or a turn from Statlander ward Stokely or away from Stokely Waite and
simple m mm hmm. I seriously, but when you think about it, who is the biggest babyface in the a W women's division. I can't think of anybody bigger than Riho. Riho's the biggest. There's nobody else that's even
close. I mean, I mean, I guess, I guess you say with her, if you base it off of the fans, Willow is pretty close because she's she like MK said earlier, she's got that bubbly personality and that's her whole character that she's you know, they try to build her to be like that, but like you said, there's she's had huge moments they you know, it's just one of those things. And Riho is just Rio.
I mean years, I'll fantasy book this that if Statlander turns to the dark side, meaning the Stokely Hathaway side, you know, and brings what if what if Statlander and Willow just decide let's do it. I mean, we just saw, like I don't know if you guys saw it, but on on Twitter ext there was a multi photograph photo shoot with Willow, Statlander and Stokely Hathaway. They did this whole thing. Why would they do that.
But they're breaking up, you know, if they're bringing so to me, it seems like what they're going to do guard they are going to be a one big, happy family and this is my fantasy booking, and that they are going to pummel as a group, meaning Willow and Statlener. I think they're going to go after after ReHO become full heel and ReHO spent some time in TJPW, and that would be the perfect opportunity for the magic Girl Yukaza Kazaki to come out and help out, help out Rio to fed the
off. Statlander and Willow did not her contract with AW run out though. No. She about two or three weeks ago, she was removed from the AW roster for about ten minutes and then she was put right back on. Okay, I thought I'd saw something about how she was removed from the roster page, but I wasn't sure. Yeah, she was removed, and it
was like a mistake or something because they put it right back up. But in that time that she was removed and it was like maybe a half hour at best, I mean, people get caught on and then she was put right back up and nothing was ever said of it. You know, it's probably just a clerical error or something like that. But yeah, so Yukaza Kazaki is signed to AW and I think this would be a perfect opportunity for
her to get in here. And hey, like I said, you know, if we're gonna do women's tag tournament or have women's tag title, y Kazakazaki in Rejo makes perfect sense to me, and that would be a hell of a team good board, you know. So, I mean, that's that's that's that. So look, I guess I'm gonna wrap this up, you know, Sutton and MK and net. As always, I appreciate you very much. Uh. I hope that the listeners have enjoyed this little banter
that we had going on. So we'll be back tomorrow night, right after Dynamite and Record, I'll lea talk at our good buddy and my co host will finally be back. He's only been gone for two weeks, but lord do we miss him. Alex can't wait to have you back, man. I mean, I was really hoping you can find your way to get here tonight, but unfortunately he just couldn't make it. But he did say he
is going to be here tomorrow night. But he's going to miss Big Business next week, and then he's going to miss the week after that because he's actually going to be at the show in Toronto, so we'll be getting on the spot reports from him, but he won't be on the podcast. It's a very depressing time for me because Alex is superb and he's actually not met
some of the people that are in the podcast tonight. So so you know, hopefully tomorrow night he'll be here and you'll be able to baskin his glory because he is the aw fat ub Keith Lee and I'm not calling and that's not something about his size. I'm just saying we just need to basket his glory anyway for Ignition and aw fan Hub and Net and m K and Sutton. This is Kelson. Good night, everybody night, good night,
