It's Tuesday. You know what that means. It's time for Ignition with AW Fan Hobbs podcast team. This is Kelson and this is Alex, and we are going to talk about something that I think we all thought was coming at some point. I know I did. We're talking about releases, AAW's first ever big batch of releases. I think they've released a person here or there before, but never like this. It's kind of like what we've seen from WWE in the past, like one day of just ten, twelve, fifteen
people getting released, and now aw's kind of done the same thing. But you know what compare just a quick question, Alex compared to a like a W releases to w w's releases, I just fell over my tongue like Mercedes Bonet on Wednesday night. Compared to a W releases to w DOT. I'm gonna get this out one way or another. To w W, I I feel like that guy from Liberty Mutual Commercials. It's not a star studded list
of releases, right exactly. There's not that much of it. I mean it's an impact, of course to the wrestlers, But do you feel you guys fields impactful to the shows themselves. Like I will say, I don't think there's anyone that is looking at this list and being like, oh wow, w W he needs to pick up gravity or right right, I don't think is with the Triple A now right he was there, people were saying like, aw, put him on loans, So maybe he's just there for
for good now or for an extended time. Yeah, but what do you say, I'm going to give the for me. The people that I that I think would be missed the most that to me added the most to the show, and not even ae W because they're barely featured, was the Boys, just because that's such a big part of Dalton Castle. And I think Dalton Castle's a guy that you can I mean, he's mostly been on R O H and probably the most entertaining part of that show in a lot of
ways. And if you have him on Collision or Dynamite, I think people like to see him. So But but I mean, they could be anyone. You could have anyone be the Boys, So it's like it's a right, yeah, yeah, I don't see anybody on this list that you know is going to make an impact anywhere. Yeah either either I mean they they I mean, Gosha. I understand people, you know, she messed up or whatever a couple of times. But that's the probably the biggest impact because
it's gonna change Saturday night. Other than that, I'm sitting there going, who are these guys? Okay, and there's like eight of them and there everybody's making it. Oh they're so it made massive layoffs. Park of RDA never really hit hit big and stuff. He uh, he was swore for a while and he never went sailing he was supposed to. Uh. And the guy he was with, Slim j H for the r O H guy kind of had a weird gimmick. So I don't see anybody boys were kind
of weird. But I could see that because they're you know, they're not needed. Uh yeah, because one of the people, like Alex made the point. I've heard other people make the point that anybody could be the boys. Yeah, you know, and like what Sutton said about Dasha, I mean, well, we made the post about it on on the aw fan Hub subreddit. By far, Dasha and the Boys got the most oh no
responses. Of course Anthony Henry did too, but by far the most went to the boys and to Dasha. And like with Dasha, you know, people are like, why did she well, aw did hire and I may mess up her name and I and I apologize? Where our Katie or Aura or Aurora to be their new ring announcer. They did that several weeks ago, and I believe she has done some work on Ring of Honor recently. But you know, if you go on our life chats, I mean we
were making comments all the time on our live chats. Boy, Dasha really is messing up, you know. So, I mean it's as simple as that. I mean, she really was making some mistakes like calling wrestlers by the wrong name and stuff like that. Yeah, yeah, I mean that one, that's the one that makes me the saddest to think about it, just because like I went to the live show and you see her there and she's like interacting with the crowd like in between breaks. So she's really out
of all these people, like part of the show the most. But right, yeah, is she is she a big loss? I don't. I don't think so, Like, yeah, she's probably the most visible in the live shows, right, but yeah, you know, look, why do you think they did these releases? I mean, obviously Tony Kahan has the money, so he doesn't need to cut people to save money. You know, it's not like he was gonna go under if he kept these people on.
What what reasons do you see for the releases of these wrestlers and talents I see. I saw an article the first time I saw them saying about it. They were saying, well, they and I didn't see who was released. I just saw the releases or that they had made releases, and they were saying it was they wanted to make room for allowing the talent who's still there more time. I thought, after I saw the reason, I'm going, wait a minute, these guys, these people aren't even being used
on aw that makes no sense. And I think it was uh, I'm not sure which one it was I saw, but I just it was just weird. I think it's just I don't know, maybe just to clear up the roster a little bit of the people that aren't being used, I guess,
mm hmm. Like they have a lot of people in the roster, and like some of these names you look at, like Gravity, like they had so many Lutra doors and then they brought Gravity and like he wrestled and he was clearly probably the worst of the luchadors that they signed, and really, yeah, like compared to like El Hyo, Dovi Kingo and Bambando and Ruche and Commander and like Andrade l Idolo when they had him, like he was clearly the worst of them. I think he's Bandido's brother, and yeah,
like Joe's Jose the assistant. Like did they really need him as a manager as well? They have so many managers? Yeah, it's yeah, it's hard. Like clearly, I think if they went backstage and they had the management of AW and they're like, Okay, we're gonna rate the ten worst people on a list, and then they all compiled the other list, it probably looked like this, And like Stu Grayson, he's not the worst, but he's not even he doesn't have a visa to be in America,
Like how can you keep him on sore too? So uh yeah, you know, I really feel like I really feel like this is the this is AW kind of testing the waters and see how people will respond to these. Uh. You know, for years everybody would cry, moan and wail over every single WWE release, and I thinks to them saying, Okay, I
realized this is first of all business. And you know, my opinion, this is good for Tony Conna started doing because he needs to realize that not everybody can be on the roster, and then he needs to shorten down. I could see a few months later there's some more cuts, slowly but surely weeding down the roster because it needs weed it down. Uh you know, but that's one of the biggest drives about Tony is that he wants to keep
everybody. And I think he's finally realized this is the business and he has to do the right thing and kind of cut out people. No, I agree with you, but I don't agree with what you said, Alex about them cutting the worst. And I know you didn't really mean that, but like like you said it, but you know, it's just that the ones that are wrestlers in this list are frankly their jobbers. And aw has a wealth of jobbers and we always complain about predictable job matches in our live chats.
Well, this may actually cut down on jobber matches because you're paying these people. You want to get them into the ring and get your money's worth out of them. But it's not good for ratings. So, hey, it is what it is, but I want to move on because on collision we saw Ricky Stark's which looked to me like a clear audible take the pin due to an injury, which he later said that he's fine and there's nothing to worry about. They were just taking p cautions, which is a good
thing. I'm happy they did it. But from all from what I've seen and heard, it looks like the ending was audibled, and actually Ricky Stark's A Big Bill were booked to win that match. And now we've got you know, Top Flight going on to face the Bucks and FTR face Yeah. Yeah, it's best best friends going on to chain to take on the Bucks and FTR and top Flight going on. So do you think that this kind
of changed the trajectory of the of this tournament? Do you think that Ricky Stark's A Big Bill, had they won this match, would have gone on to the finals. No, No, Yeah, I think I think the only thing it did was moved top Light ahead one match, and I don't think it's going to change the overall tournament at all. Yeah, I'm I'm pretty surprised. Yeah, yeah, I'm surprised. That the plan was for Ricky Starks and Big Bill to go on and have a match with FTR again,
and I'm surprised. Yeah, Like I feel like top play. It makes more sense for them to go on, and it makes more sense to build up teams that are more interesting because like Ricky Starks and Big Bill were kind of a dud team in my opinion. They didn't really do anything for the Belts. They really like tankd the Belts in a lot of ways in my opinion. So I mean, I'm happy that they're not going on, Like I like those guys independently, but wrestlers, right, yeah, exactly.
And I've been getting a bad vibe from Ricky Starks lately. I don't know if I'm reading too much into things, but it seems like his uh eyeser on the door. I wonder I wonder if him calling an audible is even part of that, like maybe a bad attitude and just not wanting to participate finding it out in a bad way. So I don't want to put kindling into the fire. But that's yeah, Like here's my conspiracy theory, but I don't want to come up with a conspiracy theory. Yeah, that's
the vibe that I get. So it's yeah, I mean he's doing with Cody, and I can see it happening. I don't it wouldn't be a huge devastating loss for him to go. I like when he puts out, but he's really went downhill after a while with his promos. Uh. I just think he wants to be elsewhere, And if he wants to try to shot at the other place, that's fine. I don't see him going far as he thinks he will, but we you know, we'll, we'll, we'll see. That's a great thing about having two companies like that, they
can go back and forth, right. Yeah. And then and like you said, Alex and okay, he is he's not been the same. I'd say he's not been the same since the he was working with uh Well and all those guys and working with Taz, and then once he got away from Taz, he had a little bit of good you know run there, and then all of a sudden he just they started having the rumors that he's leaving and and and after that it was just like, well, I I'm out
the door. I'm just gonna slide by and see what I have to do. And and go from there. So and I honestly think that top Flight is one of the better teams in aw. Their problem is they've had injuries, so you know, they haven't been able to show what they can do together for so long. So maybe them. Yeah, well, you know, here's the thing with Ricky Starks though, I mean, he's been the
victim of misfortune for the last god six to eight months. I mean, he was working with CM Punk and Sampunk was doing a good job getting him over and then sempunk. You know, whatever happened to CM punk and before that, if I'm not mistaken, he was I can't remember who he was doing a program with, but that person got injured as well. You know, so every time that he got into a some kind of story, something
happened to the story that was not his fault. That's true. And yeah, and that's that's the thing sometimes people overlook is even like what exactly was his injury? Someone I heard say it was a stinger. That was a way I get. I don't know, I've heard different things. Yeah, But anyway, let's let's move on kind of chipped gears here, because we've got for Bidden Door coming up, and we've got CMLL, and you know that that aw sent the Matt Sidell and Brian Danielson and John Moxley to Mexico
and they had a really really great match in CMLL. And then you have Stardom who sent me orship Mina Shirakawa to the United States and she wrestled a couple of weeks ago for Ring of Honor, and now it's Super Card of Honor on Friday night. We've got an all stardom, three women, six
women tag match going on. And well, the question is is that I'm kind of excited about these Stardom women coming into AW you And the other question is who would benefit from a w women going and wrestling and spending some time in stardom. That's a good question. Yeah, well, you know, I think it's a good showcase anybody knew, just to get anybody out there. But if we're asking who could go to start them, I think,
along with Jack Perry, I think Anna j should go over. I think it would help her a lot and give her an edge, teach her a little bit more about what she needs to know, and so you know, if she's been stuck with different people, she's never really been by herself that much. She was stuck in the Jericho Appreciation Society and stuff, and Jericho tried to work with her. But I think Anna J is the main one who I would send over. Okay, yeah, that's a good choice.
M Yeah, I definitely agree with Anna J. Another one that comes to mind and like, and I think she's great already, but she's young and could probably really benefit from more experience, would be like sky Blue. Yeah, Like, I think she's great, but I think having that like extra seasoning and experience would be great as well. And that's the thing Stardom is.
The that's what Stardom is. You know, it's a women's wrestling company, and anybody that's not involved in the main aw stuff could benefit from going over there, you know, it doesn't I don't know. Those two are great. I'm not sure there's anybody that I could say after that it would be like that would I mean, you couldn't really say anybody that wouldn't benefit, you know what I mean? Now, Well, have you guys watched
startup matches before? Do you have experience more startups? I've seen like two? Yeah, Well, in my opinion, Stardom is known for for a couple of things. One is the pageantry. I mean, they put like they're on the level of Rick Flair's robes. When they come out of the tunnel and come to the ring, it's an event kind of thing. You know. They are really hamming it up. They're really doing great jobs with
their entrances. The second thing is is that they're surprisingly hard hitting. I mean, I'm gonna put it to you this way, I'd much rather watch a Stardom match than an AW or WWE match. I've not really seen a CMLLL women's match, but Stardom just blows AW and WWE bottom of water in my opinion. So when I think of ae W women that could go to stardom, I look at that kind of thing, who's hard hitting and or has the pageant try. I can think of two women that I think would
really benefit from stardom. One is Abadon. She's the exact kind of thing that stardom would thrive on with the character. She would be a big hit and start them with just her character alone. The second person is Red Velvet. I think Red Velvet would learn a lot in stardom, and I think she would actually shine and start them. And I do agree with you guys with Ada Jay and if they can send these women over on like a rotating basis, that would be great. I would love to see Stardom women come
on a rotating basis to AW. I think that's the plan. I honestly do, because they made not a giant deal about it. But when they you know, that was during Big Business. They had the guy from Stardom there, and I was looking forward to them saying something on the show because that, to me is kind of an important thing that they're having a working relationship with a company that has that history, you know what I mean. So, but they never were really blew it up out of the water,
but I think it. I think it's I think that's what their plan has been, is to maybe even have a bigger working relationship with Stardom than they have with Light New Japan. Oh yeah, definitely. I mean Stardom look at Stardom, you know with a Rossio Gowa or Gawa Rossi leaving the start as old promotily didn't leave. He got fired, but he is starting his own promotion. And there are I believe there was five women that left Stardom
at the end the marchiners. I know Julia is leaving in the middle of April to go on her own as well, so Stardom's roster is definitely depleted a little bit. Now. There are a lot of these women that are very much dedicated and loyal to Stardom, so they would definitely benefit from aw
Ring of Honor women going over to Japan to participate in Stardom events. One of the things about this match on Supercard of Honor, there's a couple things that I want to point out because this is definitely a match that I am looking forward to a lot. Because these women hit hard. They just a difference that you will see in this match. They hit hard. Many of
these women are multiple time champions in Stardom. These are not newbies. Even though there are a couple that are very young, like twenty one twenty two years old, some of them are seasoned veterans and champions. The other thing that I wanted to put point out on this is that on opposite sides is
Mina Shirakawa and sa Saya Kamatani. I can't speak today. Two years ago, Saya Kamatani hit Mina Shirakawa with a phoenix splash, did not get the pin, went back to the top rope and here with this another phoenix splash, and in a move that was reminiscent, very reminiscent of Sammy Guevara and what happened between him and Jeff Hardy, Saya Kamatani came down on Mina Shirakawa's face and literally caved in her mouth. Her teeth were dislodged, she was
bleeding profusely, and of course she got the pin. And afterward Mina Shirakawa cut an entire promo with her teeth falling out. Oh God, I mean, these women are tough. Mina Shirakawa is a goddess to me. I mean, just based on that alone, she is something to behold. I Meankana Tamankano, I mean, she's every bit as good as anything that aw has. I mean, this is one of the top women's wrestlers in the
world has better back. I think she's ranked number five in the world in p WI twenty twenty three, top two fifty in women's When you look at the top five, Julie was ranked number two, Tam mcconno was ranked number
five. I mean when you've got forty When you hold forty percent of the top five women's wrestlers of the world, you're saying something, you know, So this is I mean, if you have not watched Stardom before and you do have Honor Club, I highly recommend tuning in on Friday night from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to watch this match because there's there's gonna be some there's some great matches on this card, and I mean, this is a good card.
This, this Supercard of Honor is a good card and very very much worth watching. And speaking of worth watching, let's go right into our Dynamite preview, DALAXI, which match do you want to talk about first segment? Do you want to talk about first Well, keeping with the topic at hand, I guess thunder Rosa versus Mariah May. This is kind of a cool match in two ways because I think it's going to further the story. We're gonna get a much clearer picture of like what Tony Storm is going to be doing
at Dynasty, and it's also just going to be a good match. Like thunder Rosa versus Mariah May. I'm leaning towards thunder Rosa most likely winning, But but who knows and and it's gonna be a really good showcase match for Mariah May, right, I agree, And but it also has a lot of potential for Shenanigans, let's say, because absolutely you know you've got you've got the whole Mariah May super fan of Tony and is she you know,
with the reaction that Tony's and having you know, her character? For for me, Tony Storm now is more about her character than the title I don't like, yeah, more than even the wrestling. It's more about her. It's it's I can't even think of any way that this has been done in the past, either where it was the it's what she does in the ring really doesn't matter, because you know, it's it's the the whole thing that
she's doing outside the ring. And and to me, that's just kind of weird because you know, you would you would think you would want your you would want your champion to be wrestling, and she puts on matches, and she puts on decent matches when she does. But how many times has she defended the title since she's had it? Like three or four? Maybe?
Yeah, probably better? You know, it's kind of one of those it's kind of one of those things where it's like, Okay, Tony, you you've got the title and you've got this amazing character that you're using and you're doing, but where's it going, you know, I mean, if you're going to keep the title and what's the point because she you know, if it's a character and you're not doing much stuff in the ring, it's time to move on. So this might be the perfect opportunity for Tony too.
I'm kind of one thunder Rosa to win, but I don't know that she's going to because it sets up that that ability to split those two apart and put Mariah on her own. And I was going to say about Thunder, it's just like I said last week, we were talking about it. To me, she's just she just didn't seem to have gotten back fully yet, you know what I mean, her match last week, she seemed a little hesitant. Lady Frost was amazing in that match, But I just get that
like tentativeness for Thunder. And I understand. I mean, she had a back issue that kept her out for over a year, right, you know, So I still think that there's a few of the more experienced people that are coming back from injuries who are easing in instead of going, you know, right back to what they're they're they're used to. Unlike like when Omega was hurt, he came back out and went crazy like he was before.
But I don't, I don't know. I just I would love to see thunder Rose to get that title shot, but I don't think it is time for that yet. Well, let me ask a question before anybody else breaks in. But because this was on my mind, Mariah May does she come out in her vintage Tony Storm harlequin costume or does she come out in her glamour costume? I think she's coming out as hard as as the in this
match tomorrow. I think she's coming out as the Tony Storm. Okay, I think I think because that would that would like I said, it's going to depend on how they play it out, but I think she continues that until they have that match. Okay, Yeah, Will Did anybody else have any thoughts on on this? Yeah? I think for sure we're gonna see
a few more Mariah May dressed as Tony Storm. I think that that's like just maybe peaking right now, and then we're gonna get the fall from grace and then feuding eventually maybe months down the line is where I see it leading. But yeah, I think we're still in like the buddy buddy phase right now. Yeah. So, you know, the way I look at it is, I personally think Mariame is gonna come out as glamour. I think she's gonna come out her glamor outfit because she's one hundred focused on winning this
match, not being the lackey or the doll of Tony Storm. And if Mariah May comes out in her glamor outfit, Tony Storm is gonna be unhinged, and that's gonna be pure entertainment. I mean, when you look at this, the only time that Tony Storm pays any kind of positive attention to Mariah May is when Mariah May is emulating Tony Storm. Right, So, and let's keep in mind also, you know, I kind of I kind of agree with everybody that said that thought der Rossa was going to win this
match. I would love it if Mariah May did. Because Maria May's product basically where she's had her most success was in stardom, which is what we were talking about, and Tony Storm had many many great matches. It started. A matter of fact, if you go and just look up Tony Storm stardom, you will see the huge difference in the matches that Tony Storm had stardom compared to what she's had in aw There's no there's no similarities. Her
matches and stardom were so much better. They just they just were. Yeah, And I I feel like Tony Storm hasn't, like at least the last couple of matches, hasn't gotten the time needed to put on a really good match. Like if you look at the last match at the last pay per view, it was like the shortest match on the card was that match, And I felt just when it started to get going, it ended. Yeah, And I think a lot of that has to do with that Tony.
You can't really say much against her for her ability, but I think some of it has been that there has been a lack with the lack of movement
with their push with the women's division. It's been one of those things where it's you know, you have a champion that's been in other places and have been very very successful, but they're using her to build her Her character is more important than the wrestling right now, because they don't really with Thunder being out and with the other injury as they have in the women's division, there's top those you know, top people haven't been there for her to have the
matches with. Now you've got Dean, when Deanna came in, and now you've got Monet. There's people you can put in there. But this whole the way she's doing her character and stuff, something's got to change. And I think that's where the Mariah nything comes in. Right, So a wild net has just appeared that what we're talking about is Mariah May versus Thunder Rosa. We had just talked about stardom, and of course Mariah May had spent some time to stardom. I had a question that I asked, this is
to put you on the spot. Do you think that Mariah May is going to come out on this match wearing her Tony Storm Harley you know Harlequinn outfit. You know you're emulating Tony Storm. Or do you think that she's going to come out in her glamour outfit? How what do you see in this match? I think we're gonna actually start to see Mariah May as herself. So I think she'll come out in her glamour outfit moving away from Tony Storm ever so slightly. But I think that she's gonna start to be more of
herself. I'm excited to see it. You and I are thinking alike. Everybody else thought that she was gonna come out in the Harlequins. Oh, I think it's time. I really do. I agree with you. Let's move on to the next match, Alex, what do you want to talk about next? Yeah, let's talk about Daddy Ass versus Jay White. Ass Uh. I think Jay Wade's definitely gonna beat Daddy Ass here, and that
sounds weird, but yeah, watch your mouth. I'm yeah. I guess we didn't get to ce j Waite for the past few weeks because we were in Canada and he had visa issues. So now he's back. He's gonna fight Daddy Ass. I think he's gonna win. But I think there's gonna be a lot going on outside of this match. Curious of your guys thoughts. Yeah, I'm not. I don't. I don't want to see this. I just well, why not. I think there's a better match out there for j White than Daddy Ass. What He's just you know, he's
been there done that. Yeah, but okay, let me ask you this. I mean, j White is a heel. Daddy Ass is probably one of the most beloved babyfaces right now. If Jay White does something horrible to Daddy Ass, it's gonna have a bigger impact when you'd agree, yeah, I agree at that, but I mean, nless it's a total awkward beat down then, I don't you know, yah him Him's on me toe to
toe, you know, back and forth with a much older guy. I don't know that's going to help him either, But I just would rather than I don't know. Maybe I'm being negative on it. I don't know, but it's not my sporte. I'd rather people like that age stay away. I think it has to do a lot with the the It's going to further the rift between the two, and it's going to lead to even possibly at Dynasty where they either combine the titles or there's something a triple match there that
ends that feud, possibly leaves the Daddy assids retirement. But it's or you know, there's a there's a whole lot of things they could do with it, but I think that's the reason they're having it. Well, this matches We're we're going to be in Massachusetts for Dynamite and then we're going right back to Canada for a few more dates, right. I think that's what they're doing pretty sure. So they got to do something big with Jay White because
he's not gonna be able to go to Canada. So they got to do something over the top big here to get him the exposure he needs heading into Dynasty. What could I possibly do? Well? God, I have a question about kind of about that. I was wondering if this whole feud with Daddy Ass and Jay White is somehow going to lead to a surprise return of Juice Robinson. Very possible. Yeah, I was wondering if that's what they're
leading into. Since Jay can't go into Canada, I'm guessing that Juice Robinson can and maybe he will avenge Jay White in Canada kind of or some something like that. So they're not in Canada until May. So so not until after Dynasty. Okay. Oh, I thought they said they were going in again Vancouver or something like that. Yeah, they go Winnipeg, Edmonton, Vancouver, May first, eighth, eleventh. Okay, I thought that was
coming up sooner. My bad, But yeah, I love. I love what you said about Juice Robinson because you know, I need some Muppet Jesus in my life. Oh oh god. So they've been selling the Juice Robinson like cardboard cutouts, and I don't think they've been doing it the whole time, but definitely, Like when I was at Dynamite, they were selling them in Toronto, right yeah, And I saw it on Collision and in the back there the other day they sell them. I think he's imminently returning.
It's kind of weird that they had the cardboard white that they took everywhere when Jay wasn't around, but they haven't done that for Juice. That's kind of odd to me. Yeah, maybe there's some but and they did intimate intimate from the uh that vacation thing. The guy in the background was Juiced. So yeah, I just I think he'll be back sooner than later and could really throw a serious fork in the mix in this That could be huge,
Yeah, I could well. And they also need to figure out, I mean, how's this match going to deal with the uh guns and you know, him him facing their dad. Are they gonna get involved? Are they gonna do something right as well? Well? Did we see. Uh, the acclaims say that they're going to be staying in the back, and they said, if you had any guts, you would stay in the back to to the to the guns. That Anthony Jones's thing, that's a recipe for
disaster. That opens it up because he said the gun should come out. Juice Robertson can come out because he's not the guns, right yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, hmmm, could be interesting. That could be really interesting. I mean, you can have Juice Robins come out. It doesn't necessarily mean he has to be in the match at at Dynasty if he's not
quite ready to get back into the ring yet in that capacity. This would just give him a chance to get visible again, right right, yeah, and start up some nonsense distract people at ringside kind of thing, you know. Yeah. Yeah, So what do we want to talk about next here? What is Chris Jericho doing with Hooks out hook manager? M Yeah, makes sense the manager, It looks like that direction. But but hook doesn't trust him, Well he shouldn't, no Jericho, but I think he's gonna
keep him at a distance. But I think Jericho can help him a little bit with his promos maybe and give him some back and forth. I don't see another I don't know. I don't see another Jericho workers hook match up less Jericho turns again. Uh. But but then again, it may be a very good way for Jericho to slowly turn back heel, because that's what Jericho does best. I don't like face Jericho. I think I think it's kind of interesting where when it comes to Hook, how you hear him in

mean. Will Hobbs, right, Will Hobbs, Yeah, yeah, but yeah, it's gonna be a cool match. I'm excited for it for sure. Just anytime we get to see will Osbury wrestle is awesome. I wonder if they'll bring out the painting to have the painting. I'm hoping. I am really hoping, so oh my gosh. I'm like, seriously though, what this is the last match of the don Kallis Family Civil War. I guess what are they doing here? Anybody? Yeah? I think the show
claim Osprey can do it on different opponents. Uh, Like I said, he he basically fought his equal in my opinion, with potash Gar. He's uh, you know, he thought his partner, who's the same type of style, but Hobbs Hobbs, they really shouldn't. They really haven't showed him against a big guy, but I think he's a good showcase for him to go against Hobbes as well. And you know, like I said this,
like it's been hinting that before. I think this is going to be a melting down because once he beats everybody from from the Cloud's family, you know, he's better than everybody else, So why is he really need to stay there? That's my thoughts exactly. And we like we've had all these matches and we haven't had any drama at all in any of these matches so far.
That's what I'm saying. I mean, I don't know if anybody else agreesily, but these matches, I mean, the match against cleud Fletcher was great, the match against Takesta was all of this world fantastic for me. But there's been nothing that came of it, you know what I mean. There's there's got to be something that happens. Philosophy just going to be doing this tour of Kallis family. I kind of agree with what MK was saying.
I think that you know, they never really gotten they never really said that the United Empire broke up. They're still he's still using the hand sign, and I think that Osprey is going to be like you know, and and for honestly, for this match. I think this match is going to not just be great for Ospray and showing him against the big guy, but I think this might be Hobbes's most I want to say, talented competition that he's faced in AW. So it's going to be a way for Hobbes to
show that he does belong in with the best of them. I think he's kind of the overlooked guy in this group. But I think what this is going to do is I think this is going to give Osprey that opportunity to go, Okay, I've shown what I can do, y'all are beneath me. I'm moving on. We're going to go back to what I want to do and I don't really need callous, which then will lead Don Callous to
being Don callous. Well, well, you got to remember there, Hobbs is the hot head, and I could see Hobbs getting upset and stuff. I'm kind of pushing and shoving after the match, and maybe that'll start a slow rift of they start taking side because he's not want to be pushed around, and he likes to showing people up too, and he's a big, bad guy. So I could see Hobbs losing his temper and start what wanting to show off a little bit. Yeah, I totally get that. I
agree with you. That's going to be something to look out for. Anybody else have anything to say about this match and we'll move on. Do you have any predictions based on the painting? Wills is in the Judas position in the painting, so yeah, so I haven't. I don't know. That painting has been perplexing me for quite a while before I brought it up to you all, so I don't know. But but like you pointed out where Hobbes is in the painting, perhaps we're looking at things the wrong way.
And it's not Osprey who's going to break up, so to speak, but it's Hobbes who's going to say, you know, I've had enough of being overlooked and you know, undervalued, and I'm going to go my own way and beat everybody up on my way out the door. If you follow lay hands on the person on the painting that impresses me the most, absolutely stunningly gorgeous to questa yes, it's true. Well, that's the sexiest woman I've
ever seen a painting like that. And if if he does that, I would like to see him pull off kind of like the Mark Henry kind of move where he just beats the living crap out at everybody. Yeah. Yeah, that's pretty much what that was saying, you know, not just in that, not just in the callis Family, but with everybody, come out and do because because to me, I think that a lot of what they were trying to do with Wardlow exactly was that. But putting Wardlow with the
United with the Undisputed Kingdom kind of well quashed that. And as Will Hobbs to me, is a better It would be a better because if I compare with Wardlow and Will Hobbs, by far, Will Hobbs is the better of the two because he's more well rounded, He's he has he just he just has that. There Wardlow, I don't know, he just doesn't. I love Wardlow. I think he could be a great character. Are more athletic. He might be more athletic, but when it comes to the I don't
know, it just seems weird to me with Wardlow being edge. Yes, it definitely has an edge. He kind of reminds me of what Club Lang was in Rocky three the first time. Seriously, I mean analogy. It kind of puts me it would be like it would be like Wardlow would be Rocky in the first fight than you. So he's got a couple of people on our panel to think that powerhouse hobbs can't do what Wardlow did but couldn't finish. Is that what we're saying? Yeah, I do, really do.
I think really you look at him, has that edge and a growl, the roughness of it, and he has a look at someone who can beat your ass. And you know, I used to watch Bte and he would have the gimmick of going around and taking people's stuff and looking at you funny and you know, uh, he he has that look and they let us you know, he may not be as athletic as what Wardlow is, but he has that dominant factor that you know when he comes into the ring
that's gonna be big. Whereas Wardlow comes in and doesn't put on the same type performance. It's all about aura and gimmick with him, and he's and he has that bad ass Mark Henry gimmick that really shows through all right, Well, I want to move on and I want to talk. You know, look, we're gonna have a segment. We got to talk about it because it's part of Dynamite where Justin Roberts is going to be standing in the ring looking like a waxy replicant and he's gonna use that stupid smile that I
don't trust. He's scarce to piss out of me when he smiles like that. I don't know what it is about it. But he's gonna introduce Swear Strickland and Samoa Joe to sign a piece of paper. How many times has this been done? And has it ever been entertaining? Sometimes? Yes, we're gonna see here's my spicy prediction. We're gonna see security get their asses kicked yet again. Yeah. signing, but it'll be saying thing someone tosses over the table. You know, there's a fight ensued. It's kind of cliche at this point, but uh, I want I want those two knows to nose. And because those are two two guys. I like Joe, but something about Swerve has that look of a villain to me. He looks like a comic book villain coming into life, and he has that look, and I think those two knows to nose and putting on a shot and then eventually enough swerve, you know.
But it's but there's got to be more. I don't know how many more weeks of this towards till it has to be more of the story. So that's what I'm hinging on, is what's left for them to do? Well, one of the things that I think is left for them to do, and this isn't a match, but one of the things on this match card that is absent is Mercedes Monette, who I just mentioned, And are we going to see her tomorrow night? Because she seems to be like the
face of Dynamite right now. Dynamite's like her show where she's the CEO, because she's not made any kind of appearance whatsoever on Rampage or well except well, she did make an appearance on Rampage on that three hour show but in Toronto, but she's not made an appearance at all on Collision. Are we
going to see Mercedes Monet and in what capacity? I mean, in my opinion, Mercedes needs to get into the ring, but she may not be quite ready to get in the ring on a one on one basis, So she's gonna need either to do a tag or a three way match that will give her some time to recuperate. Would you put her in the match with
Julia Hart and Billow Nightingale? No, I think I think if she gets involved at all, it will be in that match with Thunder Rosa and I have a feeling that Tony might get involved and Monette might come out during that, and that might set up her first match as a tag with Thunder, which is a possibility. They could tag her and Monete Money and Thunder versus the Champ and Mariah May That would be you know, something they could do. Uh. So I think that you're probably right, though, Kelson about
her not being ready yet. Like I said before, it seems like a lot of the I mean, I can understand where she where. She may not be completely ready to go one on one right now, and I don't know. It just depends on what they do with her and the plans there are. It's going to depend on how ready he is. Well. I will say this, this is I'm gonna make a slight prediction here, Okay.
Uh We've got the stardom women in you know, in in in the area for for Friday night Wednesday night in Massachusetts, I kind of think maybe somebody remember, you know, Mercedes Monday was n GPNJPW at Stardom, and I kind of think this would be a good opportunity for them to have a face to face with Stardom and maybe even have a match on Collision, because look, with Collision being at eleven thirty pm on Saturday night, if they made a match with say, I don't know, Mina Shirakawa, No Saya
Kamatani and Tamna Kano, that would be a great match, or Tamakano and Asym might think would be a better match against Mercedes Monet and Willow Nightingale. That's the possibility. And the reason I'm saying that is because you know, look, we've got an opportunity here to build on story with a random match toward forbidden door, you know, and it would be a you know, Willow's worked in Stardom and n jp W. I think it would be a
pretty decent match. I'm just you know, spewing right now. So somebody say no, I think that makes sense because they're filming Collision Wednesday night, so Sash or Mercedes Monee could just be working. She can still work Wednesday
night do a collision match. They're going against WrestleMania for collisions. So you know, if Tony wants to go all out and try to do something that can bring in some viewers, then I think that'd be a good, big attraction, bringing in stardom women and also you know, building that relationship. So yeah, I really like that idea. Yeah, I mean, look, I mean when does when does WrestleMania stop and on just normally because I don't know, on Saturday night, Yeah, probably like eleven or twelve.
I'm not okay. So you put Mercedes Monet in a match on a collision and have her, you know, attag match. That's I mean, look, you spend all this money on Mercedes Monet to have her sit there and go that is good, you know, and thought it you know kind of thing. I mean, come on, I mean yeah, I was like, my god, it's like you thought Kevin Kelly was bad. You know, I kind of agree with you. They I see them throwing her in a match, even if it's a one on one match on collision because of
needing to make sure people tune in. And it doesn't matter if she wrestles tiny tim you know, she's gonna get people to come watch that show because people want to see her wrestle. Yeah. Yeah, that's just and you're gonna you know, that's a whole other thing to try to think about what they would do for Collision, because it is important that it's going to be such a late night show because you're asking people to stay up from eleven thirty
eleventh East Coast, eleven thirty to one thirty. Yeah, and if people have something for them to watch, you know, they're going to DVR and watch it later. Yeah. Maybe there is some earlier tremendous but like I said, it just seems like there's there's It might just be me, but it seemed like lately anybody that's coming back from an injury has been tendative to try to get in the ring and go again. Yeah, the the Young Bucks versus the best Friends. I guess I kind of saved this one for last because I think it's maybe the hardest to predict out of the matches. Like on one side, we got the inevitable Young Bucks versus FTR. But I don't think they're going to go that direction for dynasty. Uh, which means that maybe the best Friends are going to actually beat the Young Bucks here. I went left with them too. Uh.
They're my that's my wild card pick to win. You know, like I've said before, lots of times, they have been here since day one. They've earned it. A lot of people want Chuck team Chucky team involved. I don't. I think Trent and Orange Cassidy are the better too. You know, it gives Orange Cassidy time to still have a title. I know Kelson doesn't like that, but you know, he's a guy who you have to have in the ring and people want to see. But the Young
Bucks don't need it. I think it's a great way to keep on a feud and after you know, uh morts and machine guns, you know, last last time, I guess they used their friends sure, which I didn't notice, and maybe that's a Maybe that's a setup where those two that's private
party versus mostly machine guns at dynasty. Yeah, if I had to predict, i'd say, you know, whoever wins a dynasty, they'll they'll have the modern City machine guns my much mouth, but yeah, MotorCity machine Guns will come out after that, and then challenge kind of whoever comes out the victors, if it's Young Bucks or Best Friends or FTR. I just don't see a reason for Young Bucks to have another title. But well I don't need it. I mean, they can do what they do without it.
Yeah, but there's a lot of history, like with TNA and the Young Bucks and MotorCity machine Guns right, yes, Yeah, they're the ones who kind of guided them through when they first came and were Generation ME, and then they kind of gazzled out in DNA eventually and went on their separate ways. But there always been the other tag team. If you mentioned the top two, they always right there with them. So they have lots of history within other organizations. Two I think, so could that lead to a two
new members of the elite. No, I think they're going to go against them. Yeah, well, let me ask. I just want to put every I want to put everybody on the spot real quick. So we've got best Friends against the Young Bucks, and then we've got the Top Flight against FTR. Who wins those two matches? I understand what you're saying about. Those two teams don't
sell pay per view. The pay per view sold already. It doesn't matter who the tag team titles are. That match doesn't have anything to sell in the match. Because you're gonna have swear Stickman versus Joe that's gonna sell the pay per view. You're gonna have You versus will Willow that's going to sell the pay per view. You don't even have to have this as part of the pay per view. That title match and that that that's the actual that's
the actual pay per view seller. There, let me rephrase this, okay, compared to the pay per view. Why would you have a bathroom match in the middle of it. Well, that's where I could be an amazing match. It doesn't necessarily that match might be appreciate, they've done it before. It doesn't necessarily have to be part of the main pay per view. Let's let's face it. You got limited to who you have. You either have FTR and Young Bucks, which everybody's seen a million times. You have
Young Bucks versus Top Flight. I don't know if they have any kind of history, or you have best friends versus FTR or type like you're you're you're kind of limited by the way they did the tournament in the first place, you know what I mean, there's not a whole lot of You've got a lot of tag teams that didn't get in that should have probably gotten in and would have made it more exciting. But it depends on how they handle this match tomorrow. We had talked about before that if you know, you could
have you could have interference tomorrow. They could cost the Young Bucks, which then you could then use the Young Bucks in that match at the pay per view, because you know they're going to have a match at the pay per view regardless. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Well, here's here's what you might happen. Whoever loses this match is gonna get called out by Hook
and Chris Jericho. There's your match right there, Ye Party versus Young Buck three, And I think, yeah, Private Party could could interfere in that match and set up that and then be something that would sell the pay per view. Yeah, I'm just like, you know, it's kind of confusing because we're getting close to the pay per view here and this is a very confusing tag team tournament. Yes, and again I think he did it wrong.
I hate when they do these so small tournaments that you know what's going to happen, and that I think that's the one problem that that Tony has sometimes is he makes tournaments predictable and then doesn't throw a lever in the in the works to cause something. That's why I think I personally think that if he wants to really change things up and make it different, it's definitely the pay per view violent finale should be Young but the Friends versus Top Flight that
would be something nobody expects that to happen. But the thing is that Tony consistent. Yeah, Tony con is consistent. He will make you think that he's going to do something different, but he very very very rarely does. We're getting young bucks period. I can see that match. I can't see top flight in a in that match, but I can see it. Yeah, I can see three combinations, but I can't see best friends versus top
flight any other combination. I think they absolutely am Sorry, but they need to keep a belt off of out of Orange Cassidy's back, because always keep a belt in orangeiack, they get belt. Maybe they can put the f t W belt on Orange. Yeah, just no, no, they need to save that for Wembley. He may have Orange Cassidy f t W title. Goodness Grison, I said it can referee it?
