It's Tuesday. You know what that means. It's time for Ignition with the aw Fan podcast team. A boy, we just saw Double or Nothing and there's a lot of stuff leading up to Dynamite that we're going to talk about. This is Kelson, This is Alex and yeah, I don't know what you want to talk about. First, I was thinking maybe the biggest moment from Double or Nothing was the return of MJF. Definitely that was pretty big.
Yeah, and I think that that's pretty interesting. Like MJF he did return right after a will Osprey match, and for my money, like thinking about AW the biggest few that they could possibly have, what I'd love to see maybe headlining or a big match at all in is MJF versus will Osprey. I don't know how how you guys feel, but I feel like will Osprey is like way better than anyone expected promo wise, but no one's better than MJF. And I just want to see them in the ring cutting a
promo setting up an amazing match. Well, Ax, do you think that maybe that's having MJF and will Osprey is maybe a little too soon to take their shot? Yeah? No, you know what I do feel like that. I feel like you you wait, so maybe not all in, but but that's that's a feud, like like Rock Austin and I know that's like a huge feud, but that could be like Aw's version of that, like just their two biggest stars at the top of their game having a feud that
could last for years and years and they could come back to it. Yeah. I mean, well, I would have used a different example. I was or Pentacle and Nila Rose, but Austin, okay, I look for a look for HIMJF to come back and do a little bit. I think you got to do the Samoa Joe out Adam Cole kill before you do anything with anybody else. New you got to come back. He's come back.
He's already. He's already fired the first salvo against Adam Cole. So all we have to do now is wait for Adam Cole to get cleared and then you can have that battle. And that's where they should go with him first. But that was an amazing thing to see that night. That was a huge pop. MK. Let me ask you this did because I didn't notice anything that anybody else. I'll ask MK, and everybody else could chime in if they want. I didn't notice like any kind of stiffness or any kind
of limp or anything from him from MJF, did you. No, I think he's back and better than ever. He he he put on some good moves and he and he's well well, like I said, repeat myself, but he's back and he's ready to go. And I was. I was more interested in seeing Adam Cole taking the bump than I was in JF doing it, because that means he's getting ready to come to be better to come back. No, I did read. I did read a report that Adam Cole is not close to being cleared, and I did notice him limping a
little bit. I don't know if that was k fabe. That was before MJF did anything to him. He did limp a little bit, but he's definitely moving better than he was when he was sitting in the wheelchair. Yeah, he took a brainbuster, so his feet feet don't really have to take any impact. He doesn't have to run around m So what exactly he in here? I think he broke his foot, right, he was just like jumping off a ramp. Yeah, I think it was the foot as Yeah,
he messed his ankle whip when he came off the ramp. But though I can't remember which show it was now, so it's the same type of thing that Adam Copan is going through, I think, out of probably a little bit more serious. Yeah he should. He fractured his shin so tibia. Yeah, yeah, it was basically your shin. So he's going to have to require surgery and it's going to be a little bit more than an
ankle injury. Yeah, But the good news is they'll probably put some uh, you know, screws in that sucker and just have him heal up and be ready to go again. He'll just have a hard time getting through security at airports from now on. He's a damn vampire. Come on, now, yeah, they have healing powers, come on exactly. That was a stupid spot, though, wouldn't you say? Yeah, I mean, I'm fifty six years old. If I was wrestling, there ain't no way in
the hell I'm climbing fifteen feet in the air. And he would have not hurt himself if he would have hit Malaki first, But he jumped to his feet first. That made no sense. I'm sitting there going did he just blow that was that a Was that a botch? Or? Did he do that? Was that was a botch? It? If you did? You see the uh the I guess the video that Adam Copeland did where he basically made fun of himself. You know, he was like, I messed up,
you know, totally on him. Even went so far as I raised the House of Black and uh say that they're great and everything, and he's gonna name his crutcheses uh after the boys. I'm I was crying. I was literally crying when I saw that. So let's get back though. I mean, MK, you think it was you? You brought up Samoa Joe finish business with Samoa and Joe. Maybe just maybe, oh that was you? Uh maybe going on to Adam Cole, maybe even Roderick Strong because you
know he's part of that too. I don't know if anybody can make Roderick Strong all event, it would be MJF, right. Uh. I feel like Roderick Strong is a dynamite feud for m JF. That's not a pay per view, right. Does anybody else anybody else have a wish list of first opponents for MJF? M Not really? I mean there's so many I
can think of, like Christian m JF Faith versus Christian heal. That would be a lot of fun for sure, him versus Okada, him versus like even Jack Perry, like seeing him represent aw against the elite, that could be a lot of fun. Like there's so many directions really anything with m JF. It's hard to go wrong. It's going to be interesting. But
anything he is going to be elevated. Yeah, go ahead, don't go h you know him versus Jack Perry sells a lot because at last double or nothing, I believe it was he said that the Jack Perry needs to embrace a different side of himself and and and Perry finally has. So I think those two will be a great matchup to see. It will give Perry some credibility because you both can go uh, you know he he needs that right
now. I like this storyline because it's helping Jack Perry a lot. And Jack Perry needs that one guy to set him up and put him on the road to mandivent status. Yeah not. Do you have any opinions on this on who you would like to see is Jeff's first opponents? I think I think Jack Perry is a pretty good choice for him. I don't know. I would like to see him take on our esteemed EVPs and some some role maybe uh not just you know, Jack Perry, maybe Al Kata something like
that, something a little unexpected and just really really interesting. MJF is quite the character, so I think that anyone he wrestles it will be a really good lead up too, and I anticipate that almost as much as I do the actual match. So I'm just excited to see him back. Well, you know, this kind of brings me into the next point that we're going to talk about, and that's the owen Hart Cup and the announcement being that the winners of the owen Hart Cup will be the number one contenders for the
men's and women's titles. Now this was before Adam Copeland broke his leg. Because on Dynamite we're getting the Forbidden Door Casino Gauntlet, which also has the stipulation at the winner and this is only on the men's side of course, will get a championship shot at Forbidden Door. Now, there are going to
be some international stars supposedly in this match. But here's the thing. This was the winner the of the Forbidden Door Casino Gauntlet and the owen Hart Cup are going to be getting the same reward, and that's a chance, at least on the men's side at the aw Men's Championship. My idea was, because of Adam Copeland's injury, why not make the Forbidden Door Casino Gauntlet as a as the thing that determines who gets the shot at the TNT Championship.
Last two men standing get a shot in the T and T Championship and then just have the owen Hart for what I think from thearre in Kelson is that the Owen Heart's not going to take place till after Forbidden Door. That's how
I took it. I took it that wants they announced the casino for Forbidden Door that as soon as because you've got like a month and a half a month and a half almost between Forbidden Door and uh all in, so I assumed that that was where they would put the owen Hart Battle after Forbidden Well,
they've already said that, Yeah, the finals are July tenth. Yeah, so they'll have the casino things tomorrow night to determine the Forbidden Door winner or challenger, and then whoever wins from Forbidden Door will face whoever wins the owen Hart at all in Yeah, you know, so let's us look at the old Heart real quick. Do we think that it would be smart to
don't remember you got? I hope that they put out the entire brackets like they did with the Continental Classic, so that we can see the entire brackets and not just make them up as they go as they've done in the past. But with the owen Hart Cup. Would you like to see international wrestlers in in the owen Hart as well? And honor yes, but because he did spend time in Japan, I wouldn't being in there. I don't know who the top of my head, but I you know, you gotta give
it some flair. You gotta give them a chance. And you know, I think it would be neat if they don't lose in the first round. Let's put them in there and give them a chance at least a small scott right, Yeah, I think it'd be good. Yeah. I want to share something with you guys about the women's division in the owen Hart Cup, because the women's division has a little bit of a problem going on, right, okay, And let me just explain what the problem is. On the
official roster for aw's women's divisions, there's thirty eight women. Okay. Out of those thirty eight women, fourteen of them are either out with injury or paternity leave, or or just or just not used in a wrestling capacity, like for example, Riba. You know, she's still on the roster,
but she's not been used. Leila Gray, she's wrestling everywhere else but a w Now, there are a few that are wrestling, like tayavl Athena, Billy Starks are almost exclusively on our oh, but they're on the AW roster. But here's the problem that they're running into. And I am including Chris Statlander in this up to twenty four remaining women who are not out right now, only eight of them are babyfaces. So you've got one third of the
women's roster that's active right now our babyfaces. At two thirds of the women are heels. So you are you are you putting Tony Storm and Mariah may As in that situation? I kind of amu. I am putting Mariah may As a heel because she's been wrestling mostly heels. Now, there are some that are queens. They're ambiguous, like Kira Hogan, she's a babyface sometimes and she's a heel sometimes she plays the part that she's asked to play.
So it's not an exact science, but the fact of the matter is, if you were to go through the roster right now and look at the women that are actively wrestling, you will clearly say that there's a significantly more heels that there are baby faces. Yeah, and it is a problem, and I agree with you one hundred percent. And they do it way, way, way too much. In aw if you look at the men's roster,
you're going to see a lot of men or heels too. For whatever reason, Tony Kahn loves to have everybody be a heel, and it doesn't work. You can't have That's like making the nWo all nWo black and white and everybody else, like fifty thousand people all heels and you've got six people that are faces. It doesn't work like that. You got to stretch it.
That was like one of the reasons why the whole need to turn stat Lander a heel or lily heel made no sense because you just add another heel to a bunch of heels that you can't you know, you can't have competition like at but it's like a shortcut to generate interest or give them a new thing to do. But the problem with that is, ever since the dawn of the Internet, your heel face then kind of doesn't make any difference anymore because
you you you, you're gonna get heat. I mean, how many, how many times we see guys like Austin who was a heel but generated better heat. You got more cheers than anybody else on the roster. Look at MJF. MJFF biggest he in the company, but he gets face heat because people love him. But you're not getting that from everybody. And that's where the problem comes in. Well with somebody like he'll with a heel like Austin
and MGF, they were more like they're more like anti heroes. You didn't you didn't say, oh I hate that guy and I hope he gets a crap beat out of him very often. I mean, you're always like, I just want to see him in the ring and doing a promo. You know, you got excited for the pop that they were going to give. I mean, it was that fair assessment and and sudden, you know, you grew up in the same era that I did. Basically, And I don't know about you guys, uh you know, but when I was growing
up, babyfaces just got the snop beat out of them. I mean, babyfaces never had a belt, and if they had a belt, a long run for a babyface was a month, two or three weeks month. You know, I didn't have these long you know. I mean Rick Fleer, for example, Rick Dusty Roads were bitter rivals, but it was the most couldn't beat Rick Flair just to save his life. But it was all about the baby face chasing the title right for like months or even years, just
to get that one point where they actually went Yeah. I mean, it was like one of those things where it was very emotional when a babyface won, because ever happened, my father was My father was always saying, you know how much he was disappointed in wrestling, because it always taught the kids that watched wrestling that the bad guys were the only ones that succeeded. Well, I think it was when the bad guys had the titles the most,
but it was a bigger deal when the baby face won. The reason I brought that up is that with the owen Hart Cup, there's going to be a problem with having babyfaces to fill out the bracket. I don't think there's probably only going to be eight eight people like, it's probably going to be four and four at most sixteen, but I think you'll be I'll think you'll have eight. But it's gonna make it because because you don't want to have
a heel going against the heel. It's gonna be when you see the baby faces in the bracket, it's gonna be like almost obvious who's gonna win? So who do you think is going to win? Like can is Jamie Hayter? And and then still hurt to where they can't they debut back and and be their first matches back into this tournament, because I thought I heard that Jamie Hayter was almost back and Britt Baker was too. Brit Baker's they've shown
many videos of Britt Baker training with the likes of DDP. She looks in great shape. She spent backstage at dynamites and collisions and whatnot, but Jamie Hayter as not. And I just read a story from one of the Dirt sheets, and I don't know which one, saying that Jamie Hayter was not at double or nothing, and there's no timetable with Jamie Hayter one thing.
You know, as far as who's going to win Alex Uh, I think that because Brit Baker had won the owen Hart before, I think it's gonna come down to Uh, Britt Baker versus Willow Nightingale with the owen Hart because they've both wanted before. Yeah, my prediction because I think it's maybe the biggest story they've had going and we know that the winner is going to compete it all in for the Women's Championship, So I I think Mariah May has a shot. I would look it set up an interesting match and it's a
good way to showcase Mariah May is a threat. Like, yeah, I think that could be a really cool outcome. Yeah, but you're saying go ahead. I can see. Remember there are some younger folks who have potentially able to come back because reports are that Megan Bain is ready to come up and they're gonna get her a heel Gammick. There could be someone from Startingdom that comes over for a little bit, so I can see that. I love to give Megan Vain some experience and this and actually get her to win
a match or two. But if I'm booking at I would look it as this is a perfect way for Mariah May two, drive Tony Thorm a little bit crazy and possibly her get close to it as well. Well. That that's going to depend on what happens if Forbidden Door, because they have the opportunity there to start the whole to begin the feud between Tony Storm and Mariah May. But because you see, that's the whole problem with that whole tournament. If let's say Tony loses it Forbidden Door, are they gonna leave her
spot to have a chance at rematch at all? In I'd love to see Mariah May or even Scott Blue when that on the women's side, because I mean that would be amazing. On the men's side, I look for somebody like, uh, one of the younger guys that hasn't had a shot yet.
Maybe Daniel Garcia would be a great win. Mm hmm. But Daniel Garcia versus Swerve or whoever's the men's champion and that as the main event of Wembley Stadium, that seems a little yeah, black and I love Daniel Garcia, but that's a tough s. Sorry, I don't know on the men's side, who I would honestly put that can match match it and make it like this big thing, because right now there's so many people on that side that I don't want to see Mocksley versus you know, it needs to be
a two big names that have come up and done the thing, because there's so many big Manvin has already who who contential would do it, But I want to see all in the electric and someone who can match him move or move and just go crazy with it because a lot of people want Osprey just for because it's hometown guy. But it doesn't need to be. Yeah, how it is way in the future, you know, compared to Forbidden Door.
Want to look, here's the thing. Okay, we know we are going to know tomorrow night who's going to be challenging strickling at Forbidden Door. And they've already said that there's going to be international champions or international wrestlers in this Forbidden Door because you know, Gauntlet match tomorrow night. So I fully expected an Internet and international wrestler to win this match, so that it is
a Forbidden Door, true forbid door match at Forbidden Door. Here's one of the concerns I have is that I don't know how many people are going to be in this match tomorrow night that Forbidden Door got because you know, Gauntlet. But I hope that it's not some of the same guys that are in the Owen Heart Cup. And I also hope that it's not some people that when you look at them going there, will like, okay, there's the
butcher to Blaze. They're going to be eliminated because you know that they're not going to be going to Forbidden Door, and it probably what may be the main event in fighting for the aw Men's Championship, you know what I mean. So they've got to play it smart, you know, Yeah, they can't, but they can't double up on the Owen Hard Cup. It's it's very weird. Well like the Owen Cart Cup is it's it's going to be
six months, six weeks from now. Uh, it'll it won't start until after Forbidden Door, I assume, so we'll probably have long forgotten the match tomorrow night by the time the Owen Heart started. And yeah, I'm I'm very intrigued because this is supposed to be an international match. Theoretically, we're getting an international opponent for swerve, I've forbidden door, But yeah, what is the what's the mix going to be? Because yeah, I don't want to see a lot of aw people in the match. To more, I
want to see as many CML guys, New Japan guys. Uh, maybe some surprises, right, maybe start Rob d Dam in there. Yeah, he's going to be in it. Honestly, what was that? Mkay? I wish they would announce who who's going to be in that match because it would help me to know who to look out for and who to research a little bit figure out who they are. Well, it's kind of a Gauntland match. Well it's Gotland match, So it's they're gonna be that tells me
what they're coming out one by one? Right for every two minutes, I would like to know how many people that they have scheduled to come into the bat So yeah, I yes, it's kind of random because the match can theoretically based on how they did it last time, It can end at any time. It can end after two guys are in the ring. That's whoever gets the pinfall first, right, Yeah, so I guess they could keep
on coming out forever. Yeah, Well you know, look, I mean that's going to be an interesting batch tomorrow night, and I hope they don't leave the show with it because I think it needs to be special, you know, and I yeah, but you also have to you know, I talked about doubling up on the owen Hart Cup. You know, Alex, you made a good point that the owen Hart Cup isn't going to be starting till maybe after we've forgotten about this match. But you know what isn't going
to be forgotten is who's going to battle for the interim TNT Championship. So you Atw's kind of got a little bit of a it's probably maybe a good problem, but it's still a problem. They got to figure out what they're going to do with these belts. Yeah, so it's very weird. Yeah, And Tony's go to is a tournament, and now you have sort of a mini tournament tomorrow night. You have a tournament starting up in four weeks, So are you gonna squeeze another tournament in there? Are you gonna figure
something else out for the the TNT title. My sleeper pick for tomorrow night, if he's in it, is going to be Juice Robinson, you know, coming back from an injury, and you know he showed up at at double or nothing. He looked ready to go have a lose, right, I got Jeff Cobb, that's a good one. Yes, he was in that match the week before and or wasn't there one he was in last week so he looked like, yeah, so I think it's I think he's going
to be asleep before tomorrow night. What about the Abril kid he's been talking trash about. Aw. I don't know if this is a gimmick or or not, but I think that would be very interesting to see. Ah, yeah, that would be interesting. Yeah, he's interesting. And the thing with him is if he shows up in a w it does make him a hypocrite, whether that's a problem or not. But yeah, well, I mean we'll do a heck of a lot more tomorrow night. We'll be certainly
talking about it on All YE Talk tomorrow night. Yeah. Yeah, I think this is an awesome way to do it, just having you don't know who's going to show up. They're going to have a ton of random guys, the MLL guys. Hopefully we get Hetchasarrow. I'm very excited for this match. Yeah, yeah, so what do you want to talk about deck STYLEX. I'm seeing this. I didn't catch the media scrum, but apparently Tony con and I know there's been rumors of women's tag belts, but he
also mentioned mixed gender belts. Yeah. Yeah. The one thing with this is we did see the breakup of Willow and Statlander, and that was like a headline, headliner tag team in the women's division that we assumed if they were going to make belts, That's kind of why they would be one of the teams competing. So it is interesting that that team's broken up before any of this happened. But yeah, I'm wondering your guys thoughts on having these
new belts. Well, first of all, let's let's address the elephant in the room. Let's talk about the mixed gender belt. Does anybody want that's crazy? What's wrong with the mixed gender belts? Well, you can't fight in Oklahoma apparently because they don't women wait only if only if? Yeah, I guess you can't. Never mind, have they had any mixed ginger matches except for a couple in a W Wasn't there? They had one a few weeks ago. I think it was like Adam Copeland and Willow versus Yeah,
and Buddy Matthews. Yeah, they've had a few coward one of them and uh or, but they've never had really a man fighting a woman like maybe they don't do that. Yeah. To me, it's so convoluted that you have to tag out in and owl if you're depending on who's in it, and that for me should be special matches. I don't want to see that all the time. I don't think the only belts. I want to see the women's tag team to make it a little more even, to get more
exposure. I don't want to see mixed at all, you know what, I I don't want to see it. I was thinking about the women's tag belts and the way that they're making Tony Storm a a babyface again. Basically, could we see Thunderstorm get back together? Mm? So, I mean hopefully Julia's on her way back. Juliet Sky Blue, Uh, God only knows. I would love to see somebody like Statlander and Megan Baine together, you know will oh maybe with even somebody like Mercedes. That would be interesting.
Yeah, I can see that, you know, Ryan Harley, Cameron Tate Mellow said that she was last week she said she was two months away from being cleared, so we could have Tate Mellow and and a j. The return of kJ Doctors has so many possibilities, you know, so, I mean you can't even discount Athena and Billy Starks. Yeah, and of course Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter if they ever show up again in aw you know. So there's all kinds of weird things that you can do, you
know, so it could be interesting. But I'm all for the women's belt, the women's tag belts. I think that they were necessary a year ago or more because that's the way you get women in wrestling matches, not not in the mixed belts. That just does not make a lick of sense to me at all. But the worst tag belt would be something that I could get invested in. Ym HM, Like the mixed belts could be cool if they actually allowed for intergender competition and stuff like that, it could be a
whole new network that Yeah. Yeah, Unfortunately, I don't think people really want to see that, to be honest with you, I've seen what happened at Lander versus men's opponents, and like they can have pretty entertaining competitive matches and you know, it's never really been done on TV. But yeah, but you know, I look at it and yeah, I'll bring up China who famously took on men, you know when during her run in w W
E and then you know, rest in peace. But you know, the men that she wrestled simply just to a man, they've all said that she's just she was just god, yeah, you know, and it was Jo had an interview I saw. She said that he said that China was not that good and he had to carry the match and stuff. And I just think it's weird to watch and gender match. I know that that that I've seen some some YouTube video that people and I always just I can't watch.
I don't want to watch that. That's not something that interests me. But some people do. And more power to him. But I've seen I've seen Chris Statlander and inter gender matches. I've seen Julia Hart inter gender matches, Billy Billy Starks. There's been several and it was all indies, and they were all meaningless. I mean, you know, yeah, but all indeed,
you gotta have meaningful you gotta have meaningful matches. Of course, you know, Nila Rose and Serpentego just accidentally won the championship that they've never defended still to this day. I believe they think they wanted before Christmas. It's the defended championship. But anyway, Yeah, but to me, it's just not gonna work, you know, because, let's face it, not the men have to hold back because of wrestling, that's hold back because of what's
considered taboo for the networks, et cetera, et cetera. You know what I mean, And it just won't work. No. If that's the case, if it's an advertising issue, then yeah, I mean, it's just not gonna work. I mean, look at when Britt Baker went to the aid of Adam Cole that you got the heck beat out of her. You know, people lost their ever loving minds on the Why would you subject yourself to that again? Because people will lose their minds on the internet for anything,
you know. Yeah. Yeah, so that's gonna be interesting. I just hope that when they do announce, if Tony Kan does announce Women's tag team belt, that they wait until they get their roster back because there's a lot of injuries, there's a lot of people out speaking of which, and This is something that we have talked about before. I wanted to touch on the sad state of the men's tag team division because who are the tag team champions right now? I don't even know who cares? Did they Did they
defend the championships at double or nothing? No, I don't know when exactly, haven't yet they haven't, that makes sense. I mean, you've got some pretty good I'm a big fan of top Flight, you know, I you know, may have been a thing, but now that's been put on the House of Black at the Kings of the Black Throne. Those guys are good. Yeah, other than you have tr but it's the same people doing the same thing over and over again. You only have five people that are
five tag teams that are just interchanging. Yeah. Well because yeah, unfortunately Acclaimed and Bullet Club Gold or Bang Bang Gang now they're both kind of mixed up in the Trios division, same with like Gates of Agony, which is now Cage of Agony. Unfortunately, that dilutes it because I think if you
didn't have that, you'd have like ten great tag teams. Yeah, We've said it before on this podcast that many of us feel like the Trios Division is knocking back the tag team division, and I still it blows my mind because I don't know what the fascination with the trios division is when tag team divisions have been around since I've been watching wrestling, and they're important and the trio's divisions just not. I'm sorry. The novel's a novelty belt, Yeah,
because it's so freaking crazy, everybody running around. You can't tell who's in, who's in, who's in the match, and who's not and it and for me, it lacks suspense because tag teams you're always looking for that hot tag and and you really don't have that hot tag and that fun of the suspense of someone else, the guy who really really really wants in. You know, you don't have that because they all seem to be flying everywhere and it's just too busy. It's too much of a cluster for me.
That's why I don't like him. Yeah, I mean, what's if you're gonna do the tag teams go all in on the tag teams? Don't don't they aw can't do what they've been doing. Tag teams are just have lost. The tag team belts have no relevance, and we've got a couple of the greatest tag team tag teams in wrestling right now, arguably the Young Bucks and FTR, and they're spitting their wheels. Yeah, they're way too much.
They had a chance at the Tag Team Tournament to put some new people in, but they chose to go with the Young Bucks and start this this this elite storyline, which oh the bad but yeah you had you know, at the time, a private Party was hitting it pretty hard and I thought they could have been There are several other tag teams that could have done it, but they are they once again stick with the tried and true. I
don't know if they have it a contract or not. It seems like every year or so, every six months or so, the Young Bucks have it, and it's it's to a point where they have to start making new, fresh tag teams that can be the guys, and I don't see them doing that. But I think the problem is that they started with the triple teams, the six men tags because it allowed them to get more people into the show, and it got to the point where that was what they were doing
for the most part. But I believe they need to now that they have it in a solidified three triple to three man tag. They need to move that belt to r OH. Be done with it. Don't bring it back to W to the aw main bring it, keep it on H where it can be useful. Get back to the tag teams. The Bucks got them basically like you said, MK, it's to start the whole thing with the

Very true. Yeah, I just think it's unfortunate because their tag team division Ist has so
much potential, Like in the Lucha Bros. We didn't even mention them right well, you forget about that because they're there's no tag teams. Well, you have probably about I'm just going to top off the top of my head, you probably have about fifteen solid tag teams in age as boys. Yeah, yeah, I mean you have fifteen, at least fifteen seriously very good tag teams. It could be bad only for it again, you just don't have time. Sometimes you've got you know, the ones you've all mentioned.
You've got the I don't remember what they called himself now because you're Bear Brouns and his brother Iron Savages, you got the Infantry, You've got uh right, righteous, I mean, it's yeah, emotions. I mean there's there, there's five right there we just mentioned besides the other six or seven you mentioned before that. Yeah, I mean, but they're not taking the time
to do it seriously. Yeah, and to be honest, to be honest, the Triple the Triple team should not have taken a place of that because it's it's not something that you can't do at the same time, you know what I mean, it's not. But you you wrap up all your best teams like the ass Boys, the Acclaim, they just get wrapped up in this right nonsense, and it's fun. But yeah, I mean, keep it on a ring of honor and and make it like a ring of honor
staple. But yeah, it's it's unfortunate. I mean, you've got you've got, you've got all these tag teams that we just mentioned, but there's only like four main ones on the rest due to job mm hmm. Well, Alex, you know you wanted to talk about, uh the best and worst of Yeah, I wanted to. I wanted to bring up something that I think is maybe controversial and probably get some discussion going. But I was thinking long and hard about what I thought was the best match from from Double
or Nothing. I think it was a good show. It was like an eight out of ten. Everything was pretty good. But but we didn't really get anything like at Dynasty, the will Osprey Brian Danielson. We didn't get a match to me that that was like head over heels, like just blew me away. But for me, I think maybe my highlight of Double or
Nothing was the Mercedes Monet versus Willow Nightingale match. I was really hoping that we'd get a match where we could where it felt like the women we're putting on a match like the same quality as the men at a pay per view like it just felt like a high level match, like super intense, just everything I was kind of hoping to see from that match and hoping to see
from Mercedes. I know she looked a little rusty, especially at the end when she was doing her finisher to someone that was probably a little bit too much weight for her to get up properly for that. Maybe she needs to
have a second finish here like will Osprey does with the Hidden Blade. But I thought Mercedes Monet looked really good, and I thought this was probably one of the best women's matches I can remember seeing in quite some time on AW Well, what about do you want to share your worst moment then too?
Uh? The worst moment for me was probably I just felt a little bit disappointed, not really by the anarchy in the arena match, but I just was really hoping we had something to end on like a high note, and by that I mean like a return of Hangman Adam Page or just something to like further that story of the Elite and bring us some excitement on what to
expect for Dynamite, And we didn't get it. It felt like it kind of ended on a lackluster moment, especially when we had like MGF return earlier in the night, it felt like the highs were early and then it kind of trailed off for me. So that was my low point. Yeah, who wants to go next with their best and worse than the night at double
or nothing. I didn't really have the best of the night. When it came to the matches, it just was, like you said, I like said, I wouldn't even go with an eight out of set of seven and a half because there really wasn't. You know, they build this as being the WrestleMania for for a w It's the main first show that got them started. It was five year anniversary, and it just didn't feel like that was what it was. Everything just sort of it built, built, built,
built, built, and just kind of slid down. But I kind of disagree with the Willow the Willow matches. I think Willow had a great match. I just was really disappointed in what mer well, I'm not going to say disappointed in Mercedes because it's basically what I expected from her. She wasn't that impressive to me. She was extremely slow off the ropes. Damn near killed Willow with the fine with her with her finish, I mean that was
bad could have been bad. Yeah. If if I was gonna have to pick one match that I thought was the best match of the night, it was the will Osprey match. But even that match was almost too long for me. Yeah, and it wasn't as good as his other matches. No, and and and you know I don't. I mean, they almost killed
him in that match. And you know, we we had talked about how there's no interference in matches the night before, you know, the lad on Thursday, we talked about how that happened in last week, and it seemed like every match this week had something, whether it was building the match or not. So I was, I was, wasn't even you, You're the problem is you were right up to that point. But last then it seemed like on Sunday they heard our podcast and way, you know what, we
don't. Let's see what we can do to change that. So those idiots wrong. Yeah, I think I think for me, Dynasty was a much better pay per view than this. But MJF, if you would have put him at the end or before, if they'd have had that match arrange so that he could have came out right before that, it would have made the show worth watching all the way to the end, but I just I don't know, it just wasn't It just didn't do it for me. Who wants to go next? I'll say, Uh, my favorite match had to be
Copeland and Malachi Black. I like those kinds of matches where they really get into it and really fight. I think it's unfortunate that Copeland got hurt, but it leaves me to wonder what they're going to do in the House of Black. And I had two least favorite things. I hate that Willow lost, and I did not like the way anarchy in the arena was because they turned the music off and there was so much going on that you couldn't see
everything that was going on. And I think there was probably a lot of good wrestling, a lot of good fighting, and we missed quite a bit of it. And I'm getting tired of Darby Allen being a stunt dummy, like one of those you know, you know, they're fake in the movies and they're just thrown all around. That's what he's starting to remind me of. And it's getting a little old. So that's how I yeah that I made a comment about Darby Allen. What somebody posted on the aw Found subreddit,
what the hell are they going to do with Darby Allen? I said, we should probably get run over by the aggnlance that they're taking him to the hospital in. Probably he'll fall out of the back and go rolling down the expressway on the gurney. It is good to be a little bit like watching a stuntman instead of a wrestler anymore. Yeah, yeah, so I like him as a wrestler. I like what he does, but it's time
to do something a little bit different. So I think he find needs to find something else to do, or someone really good much like himself, that he can really have a long going feud with where they kind of try to outdo each other. Right, Yeah, it did seem like maybe he was wrestling injured well, just like in a weird way. Even though he got hit by a bus and he was hung by his feet and all that, it did seem like he was not wrestling wrestling. Yeah right, Yeah.
The blow towards was pretty funny though. He really he kept going. He didn't just like light Jack Terry on fire. He kept like trying to keep light. I know, I thought that was hysterical. I feel like the young Bucks, like, what are you doing? The young books look like they couldn't believe what was happening, So who hasn't got yet with their best and worst? Besides me, I didn't watch it, so I think you okay, well my best and worst? My best was I had to give
a shout out to the women here. Did I think that the Willow knight Gale versus Mercedes Monette was a great match? It was good, it was not great. However, I stand by what I said earlier in the month that had Julia Hart not got injured not gotten injured, it would have been Julia Hart versus Mercedes Money and its match. I do not I still don't believe that Willow Nightingale was ever intended to be the champion. Yet, going into this match, do you think do you think Julia Heart could have had
the match that Willow and Mercedes had. I absolutely think that Julia Heart would have made Mercedes look better because basically, and I don't want to get into this, but Mercedes is a very slight woman and Julia Hart is much bigger than than Mercedes Monet. But Willow Nightingale is much bigger than Julia Hart, and that is not a slight against Willow Nightingale because she's a beautiful woman.
But the thing that I'm saying is that having a first match in a year against somebody that is so much bigger than you, you can't get leverage, you know. I just think that the I think the match was intended to be Julia Hart versus Mercedes Monet because I think that they would have been able
to work better. And I do think there would have been a better match because I think Mercedes would have looked better and I think Julia would have had more of the uh, she would have been able to take better bumps. I'll just say it that way. Now, what I was saying, the women you go to Tony storm and Serena deeb I thought that that was the best that Tony Stormers looked to me in months, to be honest with you. Uh, Serena Dee was having the time of her life out there.
She was smiling throughout the entire match, I mean, and I just loved it for it and she got to be on the big stage for once, you know, because she deserves it. And frankly speaking, thunder Rosa and Dianna Parozzo, which was in the buy in. I did both of those matches for me. I thought that was fantastic match, you know, and I think that that deserved to be on the main show. I really do.
As far as the worst match in the night for me, and I would call it the worst match, but the worst, uh most senseless match, and that's probably the best thing. Roder Eck Strong versus Well Lostrey by a mile. That match should have lasted the ring. The bell should have rang. Will Ospbury should have just slapped Roderick Strong across the base. Roderick should have felt to the ground one two three when that stupid spot happened where
frankly, I thought will Ospbury got murdered. I was pissed off, you know, and that ruined the entire I didn't want that match to go on. That match lasted forever, you know, and it shouldn't have. And it was just awful. It was just awful to see. I mean, you knew that will Ospbury was going to win the match, you know, but it was just one of those things. In my opinion, it didn't matter. Roderick Strong had the match of his career and will Osprey had the
match of his career and together they had the match. Upon matches, I still would have been upset at that match because there was no reason to have it other than to put the belt on will Osprey. It should taken fifteen seconds, put the belt on him and go on. Frankly, the thing lasted so long. I stood to talk, stood to listen to Adam Cole and MGF talk a little bit. Give them ten minutes each because I just did not want to see that match. I'm sorry, stupid batch, but
they booked it. It was a stupid batch. They should have just handed them the belt and said, I don't want to fight you. You're too good. Left. That's the way it felt. So let's move on to our Dynamite preview. We've already talked about the Forbidden Door to See Gauntlet, but let's talk about a couple of things that I think it's pretty interesting. Well, first of all, we were just talking about Willow Knight and Galen
Mercedes Monet. After the match, Chris Statlander finally did the turn with Stokely Hathaway. So now Chris Statlander has now been added to the heel part of the women's roster that is just growing and growing and growing. So tomorrow night, apparently they're going to do a segment where they ask Chris Statlander, why, Chris why? What do you think the reason why is going to be for the Rock? I just, you know, I think that she's tired
of living in her shadow. She's tired of not getting chances that she should. She should be women's champ h in that race, at least in that racket. And I think she's tired of getting disrespected, and it's time for her to make a move move. And plus, you know, this makes two the best friends who are now hells. So it makes sense to me degree she First of all, she doesn't need it. She doesn't need a manager or a mouthpiece, So her whole teaming whistorically makes no sense whatsoever.
Again, there are way too many heels. She's one of your top women in division, and she didn't need to turn heel. I just doesn't make any sense. If she wants to blame someone for her being where she's at and not being somewhere else, it's her own problem self, because she's the one that's been friends with these people and puts everybody else before them before herself. That's on her. So I just don't see a reason why you do
that to heels take accountability for their own actions. But that's the problem. She's not a heel or she wasn't. Yeah, like we hit that moment with she confronted Trent right after Trent turned and then he whispered something to her. I'm thinking that he whispered like Willows overshadowing you, exactly like Orange Cassidy's overshadowing me. And that's gonna kind of be the reasoning for this. And
I feel like Stokely has been planning this all along. I think it does make sense to me, Like I think Willow is a much better speaker promo than Statlander is. She's come some ways, but I don't mind having Stokely as someone for her to feed off of and represent her. And he's really funny, So I think it makes sense. And I think it could be really good for Chris Statlander and put her in like the the main events women's scene a little bit more. But yeah, we'll see what happens. What
about you, Dutt, do you have any pinions on this? Well? Here is a thought with Ton talking about intergender belts. Suppose it's Statlander and Trent being very bad, and they're going to make a tag team where they're going to harass everyone else. So they do it separately, so they're going
to do it together. And that's what I thought about when Tony was talking about those belts, was that whispering in her ear, and you know, both of them kind of turning against everyone that they've cared about better than them for intergender tag teams. So that's my feeling about it. Only feeling about it I don't understand. So Alex, I've been introduced the next segment.
I'll let you take the last two if that's okay with you, Yes, because I want to talk about That's favorite painting, the don Callis supper painting and Tomorrow Night, Don Kallas has announced that he's going to offer someone a contract, du duh exactly. So here is my thoughts on that that's someone's gonna be Trumperetta, not Orange Cassidy. There's gonna be a big portrayal, and I think Tomorrow Night you're going to see Trumperetta and Chris Statlander, who
will betray Stokely Hathoray joined the don Kallis family. Maybe not Tomorrow Night with Chris Statlander. But I think eventually, really soon, like by Forbidden Door, we're going to see Chris Statlander and the Callous family just want to get everybody. What do you think about that? I mean, do you think that is there? Is the contract going to be offered to Orange Cassidy?
Why would Don Callous say he's offering the contract to someone and not I'm more offering a contract to Orange Cassidy if he was or if he was off forget the Worts cast. Yeah, yeah, go ahead, sudden because Don Kellis isn't an idiot and wants to mess with everybody. Uh, he knows what. He knows how to keep the he knows how to keep it something to talk about and yeah, and that's what he's doing. He made it seem like he's going to back Orange. I totally agree that he's gonna take Trent.
I don't know, it's it's gonna be interesting. Is there going to be a beatdown of Orange Cassidy? Probably? But is it going to just be the addition of people tomorrow night or is it going to be the new look Callus family. Do you think we may get somebody subtracted tomorrow night. I'm thinking that I'm thinking that the United Empire finally gets away and leaves Callous
tomorrow night. Maybe maybe it's time for him to do it. Anyway, I think Forbidden Doors the perfect time because then you have New Japan guys coming in. They can support will Osprey, possibly Kyle Fletcher and set up a match versus the don Kallis family. Isn't there more of the he's in a certain group, and then the group that Sabers in and some others are in that are kind of with uh in tmd K. That's also a European group, but it's completely different than United Empire. Yeah, that's all. See
Open and Ospray are the only three that are in that I believe. But in New Japan, there's Jeff Cobb, there's TJ. Perkins, there's Caleb Newman and Francesco Akira, and there may be even some other guys. Oh great, o'con. Yeah, there's a whole bunch of guys that could come over. Could you imagine getting all those guys and actually using that faction, because see, that's one of the things I brought up before a while ago. He has Tony has an issue with keeping factions that are not just in
aew together. He doesn't always like use them to the full potential that they have. Mm hmm. I mean he did it with the with actually the best friends, and those guys are all part of Okada's Actually they are part
of Akarda's faction that they had in New Japan. Yeah, yeah, so they were all part of Chaos. And they actually talked about being part of Chaos when there was sometime last year around Forbidden Door, but that's the only time they ever really mentioned it. When they had god I can't think of his name, Bulldog, what's his name? Yeah, when is she came over and teamed up with them, they talked about Chaos, but it was like for one match and that was it, and you don't really mention it
after that. So maybe there will be a yeah that's when Cassidy and Trent became honorary members or something like that. Yeah, of chaos. I'm just speaking of Orange cast I don't. I just hate to see I don't. I feel like Cassidy is in the most need of a refresh out of anybody in that group, and I think him being with Callous Callous would help him immensely, because you know, he's at a point where he's been baby based, so that, you know, just another betrayal would be great. It's
kind of like when Steing got betrayed all the times and stuff. He would always bounce back, but at some point you need to change the Cassidy gimmick. I just, in my opinion, I think don Kallas can work a lot better off of him and make him not necessarily heal, but give him a darker age. Yeah. I think it's interesting. I would like to see Orange Cassidy be a heel, but I just don't see them actually doing
it. I'm imagining, you know, Orange Cassidy. Maybe he's offered the contract, he turns it down, he gets beat down, and it leads to some other development with the Don Kyle's family, whether it's Trench joining or will Osprey stopping the other members from beating up Orange Cassidy. Uh. But yeah, I just it'd be cool, But I just cannot picture him actually being in the don Kallis family. M Alex, Yeah, I guess.
So if no one has anything else to say about the painting and the don Kallis family and what what tomorrow will hold, I guess we can move on, to the debut of TV Time. I don't even know what that means with the Learning Tree Chris Jericho. I think it means when he comes on, you're supposed to change a channel and see what's on TV. No no, no, no, no, no no. This has been long overdue. Jericho always has a television talk show wherever he has been, and it's
about time, it's TV Time. He's like a skinna. He'll do something like he used to do with the he he'd have. He'll come out and he'll come out and he may have, uh some chairs in the ring or whatever, and I don't I don't. You know it's gonna be something different, because they're always different. Yeah, it's gonna be It's gonna be interesting. It'll be a little five minute talk session that ends up with him possibly
putting someone's head through something or getting power bombed or whatever. But it'll be fun to the head. Uh uh yeah. I would love that. He's always done good good talk talk segments. You know. I just love this gimmick. I think people are slowly starting to see it finally been berating him forever. I know some people in this group still bit and get it, but uh yeah, I just enjoyed Jericho right now. He's he's eating it
up and leaning on a hard Yeah, it's delightful. I wonder if he's gonna use this time to to do lessons or something, you know, Is he gonna bring out different guys and try to teach them, because now he's with Brian Keith as well as the big Big Bill. Does he come out and try to teach them about how to win matches? Their little tips and tricks, I don't know, be interesting the pomps and uh he gets them all to like sit around him like it's like a kindergarten class. Yeah.
I mean up until he started doing this uhree thing, I was totally into the Chris jerk oh Marmie character. As soon as he started with the Larning three totally, I totally lost interest in it. And and this is literally going to be the time where I will probably switch over and see what's going on in hockey. So yeah, this is not going to be a ratings winner for me on my part. off Eddie Kingston because I don't want to go back ass ready. I don't know if you're led the publicly disclosed that you are. I don't know if this is a championship eliminator match, a title match. I am assuming just nothing match. It's a grudge match, okay, uh yeah. It's a little interesting because does this mean that we're continuing some form of swerve versus the patriarchy, maybe just to tide things over until forbidden door.
I wonder which punish meant from the elite the e VPS for winning and beating them, but they're gonna yet again send uh another guy after just this show. But when you get involved in the matches, you know, I think this is more of a retribution for for Swore to go after people who are within the patriarchy because he's he's fought everybody except Mama Wayane so far, so might as well. I would like to see that match sort versus Mama Wayne,
if we're talking inter gender matches. He's pretty big. He's probably got a few inches on s. Yeah, I think this should be an interesting match. Don't get me wrong. I mean, I mean, I'm not looking for I can't call him kill Switch. I'm not looking for Lucasaurus to win this match, but it should be a fairly entertaining match, especially if they have Christian and Nick Wayne and Mama Wayne and stairs and all kinds of stuff out there. Low blow glore. Yeah, you know, hockey sticks
get hit by a Kia, spiky shoes up dragon the forums. So you gotta gotta do some advertising. So just have where we get run over by a Kia just before it hits where Darby Allen will dive in front of the car so he gets hit first. Have a zamboni in there too, run into the sand and get hit. That's what Samyabar is known for, getting hit by vehicles. Oh yeah. Yeah. Jeez, well, does anybody have like kill switch in this match when he's in the match, But is

Okay, just a good weird The one question that we did not bring up that they kind of left in the air after the show on Sunday was where did the EVPs go from here? Oh that's a good question. I mean they
didn't. They won, They did what they wanted to do, but then they just kind of left it with no clear path ahead. Yeah. It's interesting because, like, really the one person that they've been feuding with outside of FTR and Danielson has kind of been Swerve. It's hard to see how that lines up with Forbidden Door coming. But maybe maybe that opens the path for ye like a Gabe kid to be directed by the Elite to kill Swear
and take him out. Yeah that's a good idea. I mean I can see m JF getting involved because he you know, he got that brand new tattoo, and he said, he's uh all in for a W and he's he's the face just alongside Swore, you know, swerve offspray and then together. I really think all the face of the a W and m j F and Swerve together would be a pretty cool combination. I think, how about that. The thing is that that tattoo was gorgeous, not to Keshta gorgeous,
but gorgeous. I think Secsta Gordon the day to Kestia's birthday is it. I think it is. I hope somebody sent up a Citabon. Oh man, Well, I don't think he got kicked out.
