So let's get into Ignition. We want to
talk about the Continental Classic. The brackets are starting to fill out. We've got some people with six points already and some people with no points after two matches. So the question is who do we see is the four semi finalists, two from each league, the Blue League and the Gold League. In the Continental Classic. Maybe ultimately maybe you want to say who wins the Continental Classic title? The professional? What are your thoughts on this? Yes,
it is me the professional, first time here on ignition. Thank you everyone. First off, my thoughts in the Condomental Classic. This is a fantastic tournament. I've never really watched the G One from start to finish when you saw it, maybe in twenty nineteen when John Boxes his first year in the g One, but I really didn't finish it. But just to see this kind of tournament that's similar to the G One here North America, It's been
fantastic. It's been great, I would say, like in my opinion right now, just looking at the standings for each league, you got John Moxley, Swerve Strickland both were six points in the Go League, and then you got Brody King the only person only wrestler in the Blue League with a perfect record too and oh six points. I think those three individuals are gonna be in the semi finals. And then you add Brian Danielson into the mix.
That is my pick for the semifinals. Swerve Strickland, John Moxley out of the Goal League, they've got Brody King and Brian Danielson coming out of the Bow League, well the professional So we we talked about who has six points and who you think is. Do you think any of these wrestlers are going to get zero points throughout the whole tournament. Yeah, that's a good question.
You've got four wrestlers right now with open two records. You got Jay Leath and Martin Briscow out of the Goal League, and he got Daniel Garcia and Eddie Kingston out of the Blue League, all of zero points, all two matches each under their belts. I mean, I'm leaning towards Eddie Kingston having no points. I think that, Yeah, I think that this is going to start a story where he's just spiraling downward, where he just loses a lot of hope, a lot of faith in himself as a wrestler,
and we start to see that redemption arc. I don't know where he's going to culmminate. Maybe it's double or nothing, maybe it's forbidden door, maybe it's all in. Who knows, but I think we're there. They're setting up for Eddie Kingston's to really have this big redemption arc and maybe that's something that he really does well in We saw that with the chase for the ro Championship and trying to get back at Claudio for all those years of them hating
each other. That's what I'm starting to foresee. Maybe Daniel Garcia also or could perhaps had no wins, but I think it's coming out of the blue league. I don't foresee Mark Brisco not winning the match. I don't foresee j Letho not win the match. But again, my my pick is on Eddie Kingston to go without winning a single match, and maybe a close second would be Dane Garcia lucky. What about you? What do you think? Who are your semi finalists for the for the Continental Classic? Uh? Brody
king Swarft, Strickland and Moxley and Brian Danielson and uh? And who you got is the winner? I want Swerve to win? You want? And do you think anybody's gonna come up with zero points? Sadly, I think one of my favorites, Eddie Kingston, is gonna be zero, but I hope not. But I think what they're gonna do is that he tried to be the big bad guy or the big guy with like the two titles.
He put him up there and then he lost it even though he didn't need to, and now he's going to lose him and then probably go down like either he probably heeled route and do something there. I don't know, but sadly I think he's going to be a zero points You know what shades when when Eddie Kingson lost his first match, I was thinking, Okay, they're setting him up for this massive comeback. Do you think that the down two matches now at zero points, is that insurmountable or do you think they may
still have him come back and sneak his way into semi finals. I think it would be really contrived if if Eddie came back now. I think I think Eddie needs some adversity. We've seen Eddie overcome the odds with you know, Claudio to win the title, but he's he's no. I don't see
Eddie coming back from O two. My semi finalists out of the Blue League are gonna be Danielson and Andrade Ledelo, because I think they're priming Andrade for a huge push, and I think he's gonna have a monster confrontation with Miro at some point obviously, and then out of the Gold League. I have swerved like everyone else, and I've vastly I thought Moxley at first, but I'm like, you know, I think it would be better for the tournament
if it were not Moxley. It would be better for the tournament if it were Jay White. And I know Jay White has lost to Swerve, but that's the only match he needs to lose. Like Jay White could go four and one and get twelve points and still be in the Semis. And so I think it's gonna be Swerve and Jay White, and it's gonna be My Danielson in Andrada, and I think Danielson's gonna win. And I think Eddie is going to beat Claudio this week though, so he's gonna it's Eddie's not
gonna go over because I don't think. I don't know, maybe Eddie will lose to Claudio, but Eddie's gonna pick up a win somewhere, probably over Daniel Garcia, who is gonna go over the tournament. I think the story with Daniel Garcia this year has been that he's had all of these big matches and these big opportunities and he's just come up short in all of them. And now he's gonna wash out of this tournament, and he's gonna have this existential like who am I am? I even a wrestler kind of thing,
and he's gonna have a big redemption arc. And I think Daniel Garcia is gonna be a major star by the end of twenty twenty four. But he's got to go down to the bottom for that to happen. And so I think he's gonna wash out with zero wins in this tournament. You think that that Daniel garcias I agree with you, is Daniel gar his redemption are going to be with the Don Kallis family. No, I think he's gonna do
his own thing. I think that, Okay, I think part of it has been like he kind of got lost a little bit in the Jericho appreciation society and now he's kind of meandering around with two point zero and so, like, you know, I think for Garcia's character, it would be better if he actually did not join a group and if he actually were his own, you know, wrestler, and then maybe somebody like you know, like he he might have kind of a reconciliation with Jericho and maybe some one off
tag match or something, But like I don't see, Yeah, I don't see him joining the Kallous family because I think his focus is gonna be becoming a wrestler, like the best wrestler he can be, and not being Don
Callas's pond for revenge against Kenny Omega. So interesting point. What about you, Benji, who are your semi finalists and who do you think is if anyone is gonna end up with no wins in this tournament or he's gonna win the whole thing, Benji, More than anything, I think it's gonna I honestly believe that it's gonna be served in Jay White and the semmer finals all the Blue team while the Golds are right and then O the blue side is
definitely gonna be Daniels, and I think it's gonna be brought to king in that semi. On that side, I think, I hate to say, I think Mark Briskow is gonna go without a win and on that side, and I think I I degree in saying that Daniel Garcia might go without a win. On the other side, Kingston I think might just end up winning one maybe, but regardless, he's gonna end up losing both titles. I think it's like people said, he's gonna end up going down where he's just
lost. He needs to reinvent himself. Kingston's always been better as the underdog. He's always put better matters as people essentially disrespect them, don't have faith in them, and just basically see him as someone that can't basically win the big match. And that's gonna be coming back around with this with him losing the tournament, losing both titles and essentially putting him back in a place where when it came down to push and show, he just couldn't hack it.
And then on the other side, I think j Whye makes a comeback. I honestly think that Jay wise where semi final will be the best thing for the tournament. Well, I would love to see Maxley there, but I think Moxley can't be the guy that everybody just depends on whenever aw is in trouble. That Maxley is the guy that's gonna bring us out of trouble. And I think that's the big thing that people see is that, Okay,
well, who can you depend on is Moxley. So that's why I feel like Moxley's gonna be the one essentially putting swoarover he's gonna end up putting Jay White over and so then semi finals on the tournament. I would love to swear win it all, but I think he has a better chance of becoming
a even a bigger start by Jays going after the AE Championship. So I think that overall the winners going to be Daniel Bryanson with the fact that he's retiring, no need to actually focus much on the Bringer Bonner Championship as opposed to the Japan Championship since they're not gonna be really on TV as much.
You know, the thing that interests me the most about this is that we keep talking about Brodie King, and that brings us into the next topic of conversation because Brodie King is with the House of Black, and it seems like the House of Black is on a collision course part of the pun with FTR. Now here's the thing. People on social media, whether it's on Twitter or on our subredd at aw fan hub Uh, they're talking about, well, there's three in the House of Black and there's only two in FTR.
So that means there's really a couple of questions here. Who would FTR get to be the third or do you think that maybe it'll just be FTR, you know, Cash and Dax against Buddy and uh, Buddy and Malachi. I mean, maybe Brody's going to be too busy, uh, defending his own championship to worry about the House of Black trios thing. So are we are we going to be doing a trios? Are we going to be doing a tag team? Here? The professional? I mean, what are your
who? If we are going to do a trios? Who do you think may fit the fit in with fr The only person I can think of right now, and it's it's pretty I don't want to say it's sad, but just like he came back, but they didn't really lead into anything. And that's Sean Spears, you know. And I'm only saying as because I think someone on redd end I can't remember which page, but they're like, oh,
they're getting the Pinnacle back together or something like that. But ask the person can think, though we know the obvious joye is he was still here, it would have been filled, but I don't. I just don't know. I don't see anyone else fill in that role right now, and I kind of I'm glad that you asked the question, Like would there even be a third man because the way Brody Chenance go on right now, he's really showing a lot of work, that good work you can do as a singles
competitor. Like I don't know if we kind of want to put him back into not saying we should take them out of the House of Black, but maybe we just let that be its own thing. Maybe it's just Malachi Black and Buddy Matthews against FTR. Maybe there is no third man because I don't know how you. I don't know how you bring Brody King into the fold after such a strong showing, and I'm sure he's going to continue to get stronger. As I mentioned, he's more likely going to be a semifinalist.
I don't know how you bring him into the fold with such a strong showing in the Continental Classic where he could become a babyface and put him back as a heel. So I don't I don't know if it even makes sense to p a trios right. No, No, I agree with you. I mean, who's to say if perdiy King doesn't win the Continental Classic that he doesn't go on to take the DNT Championship for example, or the FTW championship.
So I mean there's there's different avenues even if Brody King isn't ultimately ultimately successful in the Continental class. Let's go to Aki Aki. What do you think do you think this is going to be a trios thing with FDR and a new partner or do you think it's going to be a tag team thing? And if it is going to be a trios thing, who do you see as Ftr's partner. I don't know who the partner would be if it's trios, but if it's if it's uh, tag teams, then that would
be pretty cool. I guess yeah, Because I know you're a big, big fan of a House of Black. Do you think that this I mean, let's just say that the House of Black and FTR is a tag team thing and House of Black wins. Do you think this elevates them to a tag team championship contender, you know, for a title match? I sure hope. So stay same question to you, I mean, what are you thinking about this? Because this is kind of good. There's there's so many
options here. It seems like, yeah, I think the only thing that would make me lean toward this being a trio is that Malachi specifically made the point to ask FTR who was going to come out to help them, and like he kept making the point that FTR had no friends, like, like, nobody's coming out for you. So I feel like they're obviously setting up for someone. I don't know who it would be, though, I Spears is a good name. I don't know if it's the right name though,
because I don't think. I don't know. I mean, it would certainly fit. I just think I would be a little underwhelmed by that, not because it's Seawan Spears, just because I don't we haven't seen Shawn Spears a lot, and so it's really hard for me to get super invested in this story. That's kind of getting pretty personal pretty quick between the House of Black and FTR. And by the way, while we're on this topic, how
about House of Black getting more babyface love than FTR. Oh wow, Yeah, I think I think we're gonna see FTRS start to head back more of a heel direction, and I think it's the right callants. Nobody wants to boo the House of Black. I'm sorry, nobody wants to boo them so you can make them as nasty and as blimey and as healthy as you want. They're cool as hell and people don't want to boo them. It's that
simple. Yeah, it really is that simple. That's a really good point one thing that I wanted to ask you, Shades, and then we'll go on to to Benchi. Who is team with FTR in the past? I know Mark Briscoe has, that's an option maybe, but who else is teamed? Can anybody think of anybody else that's team with FDR, not including the Pinnacle right, Yeah, I mean their Spears has definitely teamed with them.
I think too. I think you know did at one point or something like that, there was one true words that did I think I don't know that. I could just be that could be stressing affecting Oh Phil well obviously see him punk did. Yeah, but that's not going to be an option thing. That's not that's not happening. Sorry, Well, you know, Betji, you know, thank you for waiting and bring us home. Pal.
Look, what are your what is your take on all of this? So we've talked about here with the House of Black and FDR, I mean the House of Black kid like people have said, you know, has been pushing for FTR. You know who's here to help you. They basically told them, you guys are alone. No one in the locker room loves you. Everybody hates you. You have no friends. You know who's going to come and save you. And I know that the picture has been out there with
spears. But the more and more I think about it, and the more that I thought about it, even right now doing everybody talking to me with brody King Bean and High that he is coming back House of Black for this
match with FTR. The only person that I can honestly seek coming in to help them with that behemit of brody King is going to have to be Warlow because there's been a couple of situations where they helped each other out, not necessarily by tagging together, but different times where they've basically given each other the no outside of the Pinnacle, the only way that I can see them is them essentially turning to Warlow asking for itself, because I mean, rody King
is an animal by himself, and you know, not many people can match up size with them. I think Warlow is definitely the guy that can beat him size size and actually give him a match. Outside of those squatch matches that he's had so at least to me, if someone were to pay up with them someone on the roster, my vote would be for Warlow. Do you think it's possible, Beggie that Warlow can can't power bomb Brody King.
He could probably do it, but I mean decisively. I think he probably could with Lettle Hope from Are essentially to do that bar bomb with all three of them helping him put them up, which would definitely throw an amazing pop at that moment. But I don't think it'll happen in a match, at least not in this Trials match if it sets up that way, because people like this said, you know, people don't want to boo that was a black. At this point, I can see how's a black winning the match
fgr essentially attacking house. The Black will Warlow and then essentially at the end after the match maybe power Bombina for that he'll turn as in. Basically, they they just don't care anymore. They're dune paying by the rules. Yeah, you know, regardless of what anybody is, what anybody says about a w one thing that seems readily apparent is that they are doing a lot of work in the tag team division, and there's a lot of tag teams in
the men's tag team coming out. I mean, and if you look at it with Julia Hard having a belt, Brody King realistically about to have what essentially to three belts, you know, I mean, he's doing well. A tag team title match for the House of Black may be on the horizon.
But one thing we don't have, and this is something that we've talked about before on this podcast, but not with these podcast members, so to speak, is one of the arguments is that we've seen all the time is that AW has too many belts, and that's the main reason given that people don't want to see a women's tag team division, I personally would like to see a women's tag title because it would a give the women something more to do in a meaningful way, and b because a lot of the matches that
the women have already are either multi women or tag team matches, So why not make those matches that we're putting on anyway meaningful? So the question I want to ask the panel, and we'll start with the professional, is if we're going to do a women's tag title, do you really think that that's a good idea? Right now or and if it is a good idea,
I kind of want to let's limit it to about three tag teams. Name some tag teams in the women's division that you would like to see, not necessarily be world champion, world tag team champions, but that would be interesting to watch. What do you think? Yes, I GOREE. I think this is such a loaded question, and I'll give you a reason because, for like, since adm's existence, and you've heard that Tony Kahin doesn't care
about women's wrestling. It's not enough women on the show. There's only one match on Guy Might and that I can get into that topic a lot longer, but just to stay on topic with this question, I think having a tag team or tag team championships for women would test if AW fans will actually
support more women's wrestling. And I only mention that is because what I saw when I was in Toronto at the Forbidden Door where once the women's match came on, I had not seen so many people go to the washroom at one time throughout that show until that woman's match started, and I thought that was disrespectful, especially given that people were mentioning like, oh, Tony doesn't care about the women, but no one's You all are supporting them the same people
that are complaining, you're buying a lot of merchandise. You're saying that, oh, she needs to give me a reason to care, No Show, Show, Tony Show, Warner Brothers, Discovery that you all care about women's wrestling enough where there's more than one match on Dynamite, there's more than just one promo, you know, like the same person that owns AW also owns ROH and you have women's wrestling there, but you all aren't flocking to watch
ROH to see a great storyline with Athena. You all aren't watching that. So if you want an institute tag team championships, I don't know if fans will pay attention enough for it to be relevant. I think it's a great idea, but I don't think right now a lot of fans would pay attention enough to where a tag team championship is warranted and it can be relevant. Because we can complain about there being so many belts in aw but I don't
think a lot of people can name a belt that's irrelevant. International title has a prestige, The TNC Championship has retis, CBS Championship has fristige. Obviously, the World Championship has prestige, and the tag team titles have prestige. Yeah, we can talk about ROH, but not with AW. So I'm very opinionated on this the professional I will say this, and I've said it before. I don't feel like the FTW Championship has any prestige whatsoever. I
don't feel like the Trio's Championship has any prestige whatsoever. And I think a women's tag title would be even better than the Trios Championship. And frankly speaking, for the longest time, I was calling the International Championship the in Consequential Championship because it was a one note, one trick pony that was boring to me. You know, now some people will disagree with me, and I
respect that, but we'll have to see on that. Because if Orage Cassidy keeps this title and does the same thing you did before, then I'm on the I'm just gonna be it's gonna be the Inconsequential Championship. But I want to move on to Acky because Aki, you've been with since the very beginning, so you know, I mean, you're you know your stuff. When it comes to a w and I want to get your perspective on one question, and of course I answer to the other questions too. Do you think
we should have a tag title? Ed? Do we? Also? You know who do you think would be good tag teams? But one other question I want to ask you is oversay the last two or three months, do you think AW has been getting better with what they're doing with the AW Women's division or worse better? How so what makes you say that they're better? Because anytime Tony Storm comes out, or Julie Hart comes out, or whenever, like when uh uh newell O Nightingale comes out, there's always a reaction.
And right now it's also Skyblue because she's involved with Tony Storm. Great, Yeah, we're gonna be talking about that Tony storman sky Blue batch a little bit later. And uh, I think for the for the titles, I think they should get rid of the Trios title and then give it to or not give it but like a chain or like put a women's tag division, because they you already have a pretty good men's division, so having something that the ladies can fight for, like a title or a tag title,
can help them like get more experience or something. Yeah, I mean, Stace, what do you think about that? Because I know, like sometimes when I'm thinking about who has the aw titles, I sometimes even forget about the trios titles completely because it seems like Tony conn is forgetting about him sometimes. Yeah, I mean, I think the Trio's belts are just kind of like the Acclaimed Vanity Championship right now, the ABC as it were. But
as far as these women tag titles go, here's the conundrum. It's not that we don't have enough quality women to support a tag division. We do. It's not that adding a title belt would create too many belts. It wouldn't. It's that in order to support a tag division, the women are going to have to get more time on television. Right So now, kind of like what the professional is saying, if Tony wants to test the viability of more women's wrestling, he's gonna have to give him some of that time.
He's gonna have to, even if it's just on Rampage. Like I've been for I have for a year. I have been one behind the idea of completely rebranding Rampage as I would prefer I would not prefer I would be okay with it being just a women's show. Probably wouldn't. I don't think Tony would do that. But if it had, if you had more women's segments on rampages then you had men's segments, I think that would be fantastic.
And so that way we can at least create a place for these women to be like even if even if it's not great to start with, right, the women need these opportunities to get out there and get reps and get practice cutting promos and get practice being in a weekly episodic format so they can learn how to be professional wrestlers on television and so, but they can't do that if they're only given one match a week and one backstage segment a week.
It's just not And they've gotten a little bit more recently, but so I think the tag titles can work. The women just need the time to be able to do that. And as far as teams, I think you've got Willow and Statlander right now as a team. I think you've got Mercedes Martinez and Diamante as a team. I think you could have when she comes back, even though she just had her baby, you'd have TJ as a team. You know Tay Kwon, Tay Mellow, and an A Jay.
It's unfortunate that the Bunnies no longer with aw because the Bunny and Penelope Ford would have been a great team. So Penelope could find someone to link up with though, yeah, you know plenty of women. There's plenty of potential teams out there. Shace. Let me ask you a question, then we'll go on to Beggie. I'm gonna Benjie the same question to you. We just saw on a collision what I thought was a really good her best promo, and that was sky Blue. Do you agree with that? I do
agree with that. It was definitely pre recorded, so which is great. You know that's how they start, You start with your pre record. Tony Storm doesn't cut live promo, she cuts pre tapes. Okay, not everyone can cut a live promo very well. But if they let them get more experienced to doing those pre tapes, then yeah, maybe you could stick a live mic in sky Blue's hand in six months and see what happens. But only if you give him a place for that to happen. So what do
you think, Benji? Do you think your sky Blue cut a good promo? I think your promo was okay. I mean, obviously she needs a lot of work on the MIC. I mean a lot of the women don't get Mike time, so it's hard for them to develop their skill. But giving them more time, you know, and pre recording the promos is definitely going to help them. I think Skype Blue can definitely get better. But to answer the rest of the questions, I honestly think that they could use
the women's texting division. There's a lot of women on the roster that can team up. But like everybody else said, they definitely need more time on the shows. Definitely be pushing a women's match on every show. Really, there's signs where you can go shut single women's matches, but I think having a single match on every show is a good start, you know. Definitely having shows with multiple women matches is going to be a great push towards that
as well. But that's the main thing, like everybody says, I mean, I believe that they have the women roster to make a tackting division for the women's The belt are definitely going to be relevant because you have a lot of women that can be in title pictures right now, so having them in tacting title pictures makes more sense just because of the fact that the roster is
so big, so you have the ability to branch out to that. For the women's division and as far as tag teams, I think one of the ones that people want to see that we were seeing prior to her getting into with the Baker Jamie Hater team, you know, and you know, I think that would make a really good team. I actually think if she were to if they were actually both for to come back, Serena Deep and then the Rosa actually teaming as a veteran team to show please, Oh that's so
good. I didn't even think of that. Having them team up to show the younger talent, you know, this is what you can do, this which you can accomplish, you know, would be a I think a great team, a veteran team that people can say, well, you know, because both Serena Deep and the Rosa can definitely put on great matches, and teaming them up I think would be a great point of view into showing the
women's division and attacking division that's going to be strong. Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker have always had chemistry in the ring, so I think that's also going to be something that can shine for the women's division as a tag team. Mercedes and Diamante and again another two people that have been teaming up lately and
can show that they can team up and have a good team. If I were to put up some of the younger women together with everything that's been going on, I would say Julia Hart and Sky Blue as teaming together with everything as far as the story arc there's been going on, is she turning turning? Is she going a separate way? You know, if they do continue to story arc, and then like it was mentioned, also Willow and Statlander
also teaming up. So you know, you have a lot of women that aren't in title pictures outside of Julia a heart that can actually team up together and show a strong women techtic division, not just teams that you're pulllling out at the nerve because a lot of these women's have had tag matches together already. Right, you know, let's go right into our diet of my preview. Let's stick with the women's division. Let's let's just skip right to that.
We've got a World Women's World Championship match, Tony Storm versus Sky Blue. Now I don't know what the rest of you think, but I really am shuddering at the thought of sky Blue eating a pin. You know, I want to see some story here, and there's ample opportunity were story here. We've got Mariah May, who is the super fan of Tony Storm or is she? You know's There's been some facial expressions and things like that.
The Mariah May is maybe not exactly what she seems. And then with sky Blue that you have Julia Hart also, is there a possibility that during this match we see just all whole bunch of something going on? What do you think the professional Yeah, it's tough because Tony Storm obviously needs a challenger and sky Blue is there. But I don't think we've seen conclusion to sky Blue story with Julia Hart. You know, maybe she gets involved bad way.
I really don't like like the I guess having someone get involved in a match, you know, to like a distraction finish. I think it's a little too sports entertainment. But to your point, having heard just lose this match, it's kind of gonna suck. But I mean, she she has to eat the pin here, But I'm interested to see how creative they get with
her loss. That's that's why I'm looking forward to, like what what story she is she going to have, you know, after this loss, Like where is her direction is going to Also with Mariah May, like how is she going to factor into this match? You know? So I'm interested in those two storylines or those two future stories, but I just don't I just
don't. Again, I don't like the distraction finish. So that's why I just have a lot of interest in just the future of those stories because obviously she's gonna lose, but I just want to know what happens after this loss. Yeah, I mean, I'm with you on that. Aki. Do you think that there's a I mean, I don't think anybody here think this was a chance that sky Blue is going to walk away with the aw Woman's
World Championship. So would you be satisfied with just a you know, ten minute, nothing happens match or do you want to see something happen during this
match with Mariah May, Julie Hard or something else getting involved. I honestly think that Mariah or I think mostly Julia Hart is going to get involved because, uh, the last I think collision when Abadon won, Julia Hart came out, and I think what Julia is going to try and do is like pick up anyone that like she can, and I hope that one of them is Julie or sky Blue, and maybe Mariah May might come out if, like, if sky Blue is beating her and Mariah May comes out to save

lot of pins. She can eat one more like. I don't think it'd be the worst thing in the world, but I do want to see something a little bit more than just a ten minute match where sky Blue eats a pin. I think for my I think what's most likely going to happen is you might see someone like Mariah May try to get involved and it looks like she's trying to help Tony, but her quote unquote help is not helpful at
all, And then you start to wonder whill is she doing? That on purpose right and now, and so I think that Mariah may looks like she's trying to help, but she's actually not helping. But maybe she's doing that on purpose. Is kind of the story here. I think Julia is gonna leave Sky alone just for a little bit, and then it's going to reappear at some point l her down the road to come and collect a sort of her claim on Sky At this point about let me ask let me ask you
a question real quick. Shades though, because we saw Julia Julia Hart spit the mist into sky Blue's face, sky Blue's eye makeup similar to what happened with Julia Hart kind of spread, but now it's kind of like Julia Hart's makeup now when she when Julia Hart was in The Cheerleader aspect of her of her gimmick, her eye makeup was not nearly as pronounced as it is now, you know, so her same thing with sky Blue or sky sky Blues got a more pronounced makeup, but it's not like the eye rot anymore.
Do you think that she's already turned into she's playing people? You know? Is that the is that what's going on with the character right now? I think there's room for that if that's the way they want to go. I think I think obviously sky is not free of Giant Julia's influence. I think that's obvious how that plays out. There's there's there's many different ways you could go, so it's hard to predict. Another question that this is a stupid
question. I fully admit that this is a stupid question. If I haven't gone back and looked at Collision yet, was Sky Blue when she cut that promo? Backstage she was in her wrestling gear? Was she in her Scooby Doobie blue gear? Was she back at into a blue gear? I can't remember. I think she was. I don't think she'd wear her Scooby Let's not let's not get too I just think it's funny. But Benji, who do you think is gonna, uh, what do you think is gonna happen
with this Sky Blue match? To a you think we're gonna get ten minute match with nothing? Or what do you think might something might happen? So I think May is gonna have an integral part in this match. I think the build up is essentially going to be a May versus Tony Storm type of match. She's she's coming in as a super fan. At some point, you know, it's gonna get to a point to where May is getting involved
in the matches. I think she's gonna get involved in this one. But the main thing is at some point Tony Storm is going to be ungrateful for what May has done for her, essentially causing May to turn on her. I think that's at least me, that would the story or that I would go with with those two. I think that judio Hart might not make appearance at this point. You know, I think she definitely will make an appearance
at some point. It just depends on who's the contender for the for that TB a title to challenge Julia. I think when Julie, when sky Blew is a turning or essentially becoming part of Julia and House Black, will be in a title defense where skuy Blue essentially helps Julia retain that title, essentially showing that she's just like someone said, you know, she's been playing everybody along. You know, she's been there is just that she just wants to
portray something else and make people believe in her. But I think that's what's gonna happen in that side. But I honestly think that that May is gonna make a make cause of part in this match. I think it will be a good match, but it's gonna build up towards a few I agree with you, and I wouldn't be surprised if Mariah May at some point just utters these classic words, never meet your heroes. It's a hipple is that? Let's move on? Gosh? What do I want to talk about next?
We're going to do a couple more Dynamite previews here. Let's talk about well, gosh, it's really hard to pick. I want to say I'm going to save the Copeland and Cage match for last. Let's talk about MJF and Samoa Joe against the Devil's goons. Most people seem to think that they figured out who the goons are, you know, most people were saying it's the Kingdom basically. But do you think the Devil may reveal himself and tomorrow night? I kind of don't. But if not, you know when, when
when do we think the Devil should reveal himself? Because if it drags on too long, do you think people are going to lose interest in the Devil? The professional? What do you think about that. Yeah, I think the goons are going to be the Kingdom. I thought that the Kingdom involved since we started this entire story with the Devil. To answer your other question, I think that the reveal of the Devil is not going to happen to worlds In. I've always thought that, like, well not, Actually,
I take that back. I didn't always think that. I thought originally it was gonna happen like during the Dynamite in Montreal. I just thought like it was always gonna be like some kind of flaky finish to get the title off of MJF aligning with the whole Gidding War for twenty twenty four, thing like that. But once they introduced this new pay per view World's In, that's when my thinking changed to the reveal of the Devil being at World's Inn,
just keeping up with the namesake. It's, you know, World's In. Maybe it's the end of jf's world especially as champion. As world Champion, so I think that's when they're going to reveal who the Devil was. In my opinion, I think it's Adam Cole, But I'm just interested to see how they work this with his legit ankle injury. But that's when I think that they'll do the reveal of the Devil. It will be at the World's
End pay re view. Yeah good. I'm glad you said to who you think the devil is, because most of the panel here we've never actually asked them who the devil they thought the devil was, so the professional things the devil is Adam Cole. So let's move on to ship. Let's move on to Aki. I know, Aki, you said who you think the devil is before? But have you changed your mind? Because each week it seems like somebody is getting eliminated and eliminated. But more importantly this match, do
you think that the Kingdom is the goons? And what do you think the Devil's going to relieve, you know, reveal themselves. You know, when people were criticizing the Kingdom, mostly Keilson, I always thought that maybe they
should know what are you talking about? I did. I thought that they should be like cult leaders, not to the point of like join the Dark Order type of cult leaders, but more like I don't know, Heaven's Gate, but like I think that them being the goons would work pretty good because it might not be like cultish, but you know, it could work because they aren't really doing anything and that could be a pretty cool twist. Who I think the Devil is? Hmm, you don't know. Okay, Well
let's look at it this way. Let's see what Shades has to say, because Shades, I don't think you and I have ever talked about this. Who do you think the Devil is? And I have a little bit of a follow up question, you know, with about that, with do you think that the Goons are the Kingdom? And uh what else? What do you when's the prime time for the devil to reveal himself or herself? Well, first of all, I don't think the Goons are getting revealed tomorrow because
we still have a little more time before World's End. And I don't think the Goons are gonna get revealed until like really close to the show, and so I think they'll try and then they'll get away. I think the Devil is Adam Cole primarily. However, I think it probably will come out at some point that there's been there's been multiple devils. I think that's you know,
kind of like this whole Scream situation. But ultimately Adam Cole is the one orchestrating it along with the help of the Kingdom and Roderick Strong and Wardlow. I think you think it's pretty obvious Wardlow is one of the goons. There was a big dude out there last week, and then Wardlow came out for his next match and his hair was all messed up from the mask. So I think Kyler Riley is another one of the potential goons. But I
don't think we'll learn anything new tomorrow. But you don't think that Kyle O'Reilly is the devil? You think he's a goon? Right, Well, no, because I don't Kyle doesn't have main villain kind of energy to me. Okay, fair enough, Benji. What about you? Who do you think the devil is? Do you think we'll get any reveals tomorrow? What do you think? How do you think this is gonna go down? When do you think what devil will be revealed? I don't think there's there's gonna be
a reveal tomorrow. I do think the Coons take the titles for Ring of Honor. It starts the down spiral for MJF, you know, based on the fact. Also, he's kind of injured, so I think he's gonna need some time off as well. But you know, I do believe that it's Adam Cole. I've always I felt that it's from the beginning that is Adam Cole. I think if he is legitimately injured, Kyle O'Reilly and I'm Adam the strongest essentially playing the world of the Devil. In the meantime,
the Kingdom is definitely part of the Goons. It might be Warlow as well as one of as one of the Goons, but I think overall all this is the plan of Adam Cole. You know, it's that whole long term storytelling, you know, where everything seemed to be fun part at the beginning
between that tag team with them. You know, I can't remember who said, well, I think it was that was that it was basically going to come after everything that I'm JF loved, which is basically taking out any and offerings that he's had that can help him out with any kind of match, which is why some Moore Joe had to step in the attack match. But at the end of the day, you know, at world's end, I
think Adam Cole to be at the corner WARMJF. You know, and somehow something happens, the devil appears, you know, costs MGF the title against some more Joe and then this revealed that it was Adam Cole behind it all at that point, essentially putting MJF in a position where he's back ass as a person he was before, which where he trusts no one, doesn't believe
in anyone. It's only him against the world and making that that return and that comeback to come after the world title against one point, maybe later in the year next year, so we can see a difference in championships and champions
between that time. But I think it's at the call behind it all, and honestly it wouldn't shock me, but I think it would be a big pop, you know, just having them real costing them the title and just basically telling them that they told him that that we're going to take everything that he cared in love and by taking his friendship with that goal, taking his friendships with the acclaim everybody and taking the one thing that he cherishes them all,
which is the belt. Yeah, you know, I didn't express my opinion on this, but I'm going to express my opinion on this now. Benjie, You're absolutely right that whoever the devil is, well, practically everybody is trying to take what MGF loves the most away from from MGF. He loves the belt. He's been going on TV lately saying that he loves aw, he loves Adam Cole, you know, and everything has been taken away
from him. Who has the power other than Adam Cole, who has the power to take the belt away from a from MGF, and who has the power to over mgf's contract, and who has the power to do things that only the true devil can do, and that's Tony Kahn. I said from the beginning that I really do believe that would be really interesting twist to have Tony Kanna as the devil. Now, if it wasn't the devil, and this is completely out there, you guys are going to probably just grown at
this. But during the early days of the Devil, we had people on this podcast that were insistent that CM Punk was the devil. Well, that's obviously been thrown out the window. It's not cmpunk. He's no longer with the companies, with another company now. Also, you got to keep in mind that the devil that we see on screen doesn't necessarily have to be the
devil that's presented to us in the end. If he is ever presented to us in the end, wouldn't it be it be a hoot If the devil is revealed to be Cult Cabana, that would be just to be just be fitting. That's way out there, And honestly, I've never heard anybody mentioned col Cobana's name, and that's why I brought it up, because nobody has ever mentioned his name. Let's move on because that's ridiculous. Sorry, I
put you through that. Let's move on to the final match that we're going to talk about, and this one kind of I'm thinking about this kind of like the Tony Storm and sky Blue match. I mean, what are we going to do here? We've got Adam Copeland versus Christian Cage. This seems like a perfect match to get resolved on a world's end to me, not on a dynamite in Montreal A chance? He well, was that shades? I didn't didn't quite hear you. I'm sorry, I didn't realize I was
unmuted. Never mind, I'm so sorry. That's fine, But the professional do you think that this feud is going to have this match is gonna have a clear winner tomorrow night? And if so, who wins And how's it gonna happen. Yeah, I don't know about like a clear winner. Like I'm actually surprised they're doing it so soon. I get it. They're they're trying to move tickets in Montreal. But I think Christian Cage is gonna win the match. I don't see this. They ingest their only singles match in
a w I just I couldnt see that. Uh, maybe they have a rematch, you know, at a like Revolution, But I mean I don't have to drive it out for a few months. But I think Christian Cage wins it. Uh, maybe it's with the help of Nick Nick Nick Wayne's mom. Yeah yeah, maybe it's this mom that helps out, you know, sort of like a like the finish to that match Christian had against Jericho
WrestleMania twenty, you know where Tris turned on Jericho. You know, that's where I foresee that kind of story indnet, And maybe that's what happens in Canada. Maybe we get a screwdrop finished in this match, just no no rest. But like maybe it's Nick Wayne's mom that helps out, you know, because she's got it going on. That's what I see. I don't, like I said, like I said before, I don't see a decisive
I mean, a clear winner without like some shenanigans. And I do see like another match happening between the two, but just I don't think it's gonna be anytime soon. But yeah, that's that's what I got. So do you think that there's gonna be a clear winner in this match? And I mean the professional just brought it up, but I kind of thought the same thing. Do you think that Nick Wayne's mob mom is the wild card here? She the joker? Probably? But I want Adam Copeland to win.
Well, of course everybody wants Adam Copland to win. We don't. We don't want the father to hear a win. Yeah, but like if if Christian wins, I think it's going to be like a one win for him, one win for Adam and then them to a world's end or maybe no world's end. But like somewhere someware not the professional said revolution gosh shades. I mean, do you think that this is just a vehicle to set up
a future match? Because do you really think that we're going to get any kind of you know, not even total resolution, but some resolution tomorrow. I don't think there's a shot in hell of this match which actually happens. This is yeah, it's not a dying mind, it's not this is a pay per view match. Now they've booked this match, but I for see thee a situation where you have if you remember, there was this big story in old WWF where Mister Perfect was gonna fight Priple Age and it was just
gonna it was this huge match. It was something you see on wrong and right before that match, mister Perfect is attacked in the back and they have to card him off to the hospital and so the match doesn't happen, and I could see something where he'll switch and Nick Wayne, you know, besides attack Adam Copley in the back back before this match starts, so that he can't compete and they eventually meet at World's End, but you know, it
might be something they give Adam a concussion or something a fabe concussion, or he has to be up for two weeks, and so now we have more build to this match because you just this is you just you can't give this away on every television. You can't do it. I think it would be it'd be very I question that the decision if they go ahead and decide to have this match and then you have another match. I mean, this is this is something you build to. This isn't how you start the feud,
you know what I'm saying. Yeah, well, the physical feud really hasn't started yet because other than you know, kicking each other in the crotch, there's really not been a whole lot of interaction physically between Copeland and Cage yet. And frankly, I agree with you. I don't really believe that the very first physical match that she should have official match should be on a dynamite in Montreal. I just don't think it's nothing against Montreal. I can say
a dynamite Connecticut or a dynamite in Washington, d C. Wherever. I just don't think it's a dynamite match that people would pay the seat, And so why would you not put it on pay per view? That's kind of mine exactly. Well, unfortunately Benji has uh had to go and so we're so we're going to go to our spicy predictions such now that this is something
that we do. Uh, you can talk about a spicy prediction about a match we've already talked about on or something else you want to talk about for Dynamite, could be for Collision, it could be just an outrageous storyline prediction, whatever you want to be. So I'm going to put the professional on the spot. What's a spicy prediction do you have for us this week?
Yeah? For for this week, I would probably just go and what I mentioned before with the screwjob finish, Like, I think there's a lot of meat there and I totally overlooked worlds in with this dude, but I just don't I don't think that this is just a one match thing, but that that's that's the spicy I guess prediction that I got, Like, there will be a screwjob finish there there. They're kind of almost has to be. But yeah, that's what I'm going with. What about you, Auki,
do you have anything spicy for us for this week? Nick Wayne is going to take the TNC title. Nick Wayne is going to take the T and T title even though he's not in the match. No, No, I meant not tomorrow. I meant like in general, whenever we get to that point. Yeah, building toward Nick Wayne winning the title from Christian or maybe even Adam. I mean it could work either way. Good that if Chris, if Dick Wade wins, that Christian gets jealous and sends Nick Wayn into
his room. M Chades, do you have a spicy prediction for us? I do? I think is going to beat John Moxley Clean. Rush is going to beat John Moxley Clean. That is spicy. The mill Ry Wow. I would have never even thought of that, not even close, because
I don't think Moxley's can out of this league. I think for a lot of the reasons that we're talking about earlier, like it's great that Max has been there for a w and when, but we need to develop new people who can be also that and so mox can't come out of the semis on this tournament. So one of the ways you do that is by having Rush sheet and clean, and you give Rooshia Rubb and maybe you start to send Moxley toward that vacation he deserves. Well. My spice prediction has to do
with the ultimate underdog story. And I kind of still think that this is gonna happen. I I just can't get it out of my mind. I think Eddie Kingston is going to run the table and he's going to reach the semi finals in this in this UH, in this tournament, I really do believe that. I I just don't. I don't see the reason for him to lose out. I mean, I know that a lot of you guys and I and I'm not disagreeing with you, but I'm just being spicy here.
I know some of you guys have said that he's gonna go over in this tournament, and I can see that happening. For something in the back of my mind is saying that he's going to win out and he's gonna sneak his way into the tournament because it's going to come down to either Eddie Kingston
or somebody else winning the tournament. And at that point, that's when the draw happens, and with those with two wrestlers getting one point, it puts them behind Eddie Eddie Kingston, and Eddie Kingston wins wins, that steaks into the UH into the semi finals.
