It's Tuesday. You know what that means. It's time for Ignition with the aw Fan podcast team. And you know what, before we start, I wasn't gonna do this, but I feel like I have to because I want to give a special shout out to someone out there, and that, of course is the server at Paisano's Pizza who had the unfortunate experience with with Rick Flair a few days ago, and I just wanted to give him a shout out for his for the way he handled it. I mean, the guy.

I don't know if you saw the video, but he was. His demeanor was just calm, full, collected. What's the what's his name? Nicholas nick Yeah, Nickla. I have his last name here. I have to look it up. Give me just a second. Oh there it is, okay. So anyway, I want to give a show out out to Nicholas Dickhead for how he handled that whole thing with Rick Flair. I salute you, and with that, let's start the show. This is Kelson, This is Alex, and yeah, shout out to Nicholas Chlas Dickhead. Say

his last name, Nicholas Dickhead. That that's real. That's because Rick Clair asked him what his last name was that he didn't say anything, so Rick Flair said, dickhead. He must have had it on his you know, yea his name or something. I mean, he's a bartender, so he's used to dealing with guys like Rick Flair. Did you see the video, Alan? I saw. I saw bits and pieces because I wasn't going to

just watch the whole thing because it's just the drunk guy going off. At the end, there was some guy that like started to challenge Rick Flair to a fight, and then Rick Flair is like, are you talking to me? And then that guy completely started to back off because he realized that Rick Flair has been and probably a lot more fights than this guy had, so two years old? Did this guy was like, looked like he was in his mid twenties. He would have killed Rick Flair. I think, I

don't know. He looked scared. Once Rick Flair started getting going, that guy backed off and he knows Rick Flair knows how to gouge someone's eye out or I didn't know tricks did. They showed a part where he wooed a deaf grandmother or the blind grandmother. I didn't see that part. I'm sure it happened. I'm not doubting it. I'm sorry. That is the most preposterous thing I've ever heard of my life. But anyway, Nicholas Dickhead's a

hero. Just sink, like, how many years of this kind of Rick Flair footage have we missed out on because they didn't have cell phone cameras in the seventies and eighties and nineties in airplanes and airplane bathrooms in particular. Yeah, oh god, anyway, let's copper, Yes, what do you want to talk about first? Allari, Well, I think we'll let m K talk because I know he has he wants to talk about the Ethan Page release, and we're gonna talk a little bit about releases in general. But yeah,

NK, what do you have to say about Ethan Page. I'm a little fired up about it. I'm not gonna lie. I don't understand why Tony has such a problem booking people who are what seems like fan favorite. I mean, Ethan Page has had some good blogs that going on. People liked him, he was a good worker, heel or face, but yet they can't find time for him. But there are so many people out there.

You know, we get the page, but we're stuck with Mike Ben and Matt Tavan and there's a whole long list of people who I don't understand why the show of a company. But yet you know, I was just friends of the friends of the friends of the friends thing going on or what. But he had a lot of potentially Yes, he was never going to be a big star, but he could fill in for a spot like a

Darby Allen, who's who gets titles and does things stuff like that. But but Tony has the history of getting popular people like a Dan Hollison and then doing absolutely nothing. So that's my big problem with Tony Ryan he and I

are be thinking he didn't even know it. Yeah, for sure, I always get the feeling like and with Dan Housen especially, and I guess with Ethan Page it's like Tony Kahan, I think he puts wrestling, just pure wrestling skill above anything else, and maybe he felt like Ethan Page wasn't there. I thought he was fine, like, I thought he was good and could have great matches. But that's especially with Dan Housen, it feels like maybe he just doesn't see him as like a good wrestler. And just because

Dan Hausen's another guy. Yeah, he should be featured more. He sells the most shirts out of anyone, and it's weird. It's a big fan base even outside of wrestling. That's what I don't get. I mean, put him on I don't know, give him his own show, or put him out there for others other things, you know, and put him on TV just just two guest appearances on places. There's so many things you can

use him on. Yeah. Absolutely. You know. One of the things about Ethan Page, and I'm just gonna say it, I've already said before in our podcast that I think you know Canowski Takeshta's just gorgeous, so is Ethan Page. I mean he was the handsome guy. You know. If I could pick the wrestler at AW that I would want to look like, it would be Ethan Page. Unfortunately, I look like Art Anderson if you squint your eyes or a hard nothing long with Arnie Anderson. Yeah, but

like Art Anderson. If you would rate Art Anderson's looks at like eight eight if you squint, he goes down to a two and then I'm kind of just a notch below that. It was solid one point nine. That is the nicest thing you've ever said to be Alex, thank you so much. No problem. But yeah, and to add, like Ethan Page, you know they had him in that the firm kind of backing up MJF. They

kind of didn't go anywhere. I remember at a show in Hamilton they had him compete against MJF for the world title, Like there was I feel like there was this guy's probably like NJF, who were going to bat for Ethan Page. And it just feels like Tony didn't see it for whatever reason. I don't. Yeah, I've asked people who I wish we could bring back that he could see. But I don't know how he value likes people and why he releases certain people. We're just were new But I don't understand it.

Boy, but not do I mean, do you have any thoughts on Ethan Page. I like Ethan Page. I'm sorry to see him go. I don't know the inner workings of a w why that decision was made, but I think he had a lot of potential. He says really good at what he does. He has a lot of fans outside of wrestling that he could bring into wrestling, And yeah, I hate to see him gone. So that's my son. Yeah, yeah, and yeah, go ahead,

Kelson. No, I was just I was just gonna just mutter something incoherent until somebody else spokes, Okay, Yeah, I was just gonna say, like, I don't watch a lot of wrestling vlogs, and I always enjoyed the Ethan Page toy Hunt flogs. I thought he could have probably had a

really good run as a good guy if they ever figured it out. I never watched his TNA stuff, but I know he had like Karate Man Ethan Page, and people seem to really be behind him there, so maybe they could have done something more fun with him and just had some consistent booking behind

him. But yeah, I mean, we we're gonna talk a little bit about other people that they've released, but I would say out of everyone that has left aw and and we don't know, maybe he's leaving mostly of his own accord, but he seems other than maybe, you know, Cody Rhodes obviously like the biggest, the guy that could have the most success post aw Well, Cody Rhoads wasn't really released. He no, he left on his

own, Yeah, for sure. So there's a fine line you know, but yeah, so let's talk about other people that have actually been released that from AW that you would like to see back. Is there anybody in particular where you can think about Alex that you'd like to see come back? You know, the the number one person like and I'm looking at the list right now. You know, there's certain guys like Leo Rush who didn't really do much. He had like a matcher to an AW and I think he's good.

But the person that sticks out to me that I'd most like to see back, and it was sad that they left was Seawan Spears because I just feel like the Pinnacle, if they ever brought it back together with like good guy mjf FTR, is way bigger than they ever were during the Pinnacle. It gives Wardlow something to do. I just really wanted to see that reform and was hoping the whole Devil thing was that. And I'm sad Shawn Spears

has left and we don't probably won't get to see that ever. Well, you know, I kind of would like to see Press Advance come back. Yeah, I know he's not released by Baseball, Yeah, you know. I mean there's so many guys that are released but still on the but still employed by AW. It's it really blows my mind. That's just weird. Yeah. So for me, there's two people are going to go ahead, and I've been him for a while. Go ahead, No no, I was just agreeing with counseling go ahead, so I had to. I really

missed Fuego del Soul. I loved him. I know that he is a glorified jobber, but sometimes you have to have that in company. But he was over and he made himself over. He can pages from a different place, so a lot of the rector would come back a different places. But no one knew who Fuego del Soul was. But then he hooked up with Sammy Givar and his blogs and people absolutely fell in love with him, and he put on good matches and his match with Nero is the one that pops

up to me that that wasn't great. And people connected with him. But I don't know why Tony. I think Tony signed him and then soured on him for some reason, and he didn't do anything after. After very much, he was doing something with House of Black. I think Malachi wanted to do something with them, so so they did something and then pop bang, what is he gone? Uh? The other one I liked that wasn't that

I was underused was Sonny Kiss. I liked her. Ah, she that I don't know anyway, but they were good, you know, uh, fun to work with. I didn't like her pairing with Joey Janella, but I thought, you know, that's somebody who they could who deserves to be on there. She she wasn't over, but they put her the better circumstances. I think they would do okay. And sorry, I don't know what they addressed her ass. So I'm just bouncing around that. I thought that

was a sorry. No, I think you were doing it right. Yeah, you got it. Oh, ex, I have to ask you a question before before that gives her thoughts here, because when you brought up this topic in our pre podcast meeting, you said, hey, why do we talk about uh aw releases that you would wish that you wish could come back like Trench? What I I might have been the only Trench fan, And

I don't know if I was actually a fan. If I just telling my wife that I loved Trench something about that that craziest he was like the craziest guy they could have got. I think he just showed up from the streets one day, like went through the back door. They saw him in the back that, like, this guy is crazy, let's put him on TV. Have you wrote that? I was like, why if you ever looked at his Instagram, it's just like videos and pictures of like animals killing other

animals, and like from like he's crazy. He was like he was a baseball player, like talent picture or something, and he just decided he was going to get tattoos over his entire faith and body and then become a wrestler. Like I don't know, there's something very fascinating about Trench to me. I wish I wish you knew how to wrestle, and then he could have been a wrestler, and unfortunately that didn't happen. In case anybody was wondering if anybody was a Trench fan, Alex, that is his name. Alex

is the only Trench fan on the planet. Congratulations Alex. You can buy it, you know, I mean Trench has just under as many fans as Nicholas Dickheads. So I mean tattoos. Yeah, uh yeah, well that what have you have you thought of anybody that has been released from a w that you would like to see cup back. Yeah, I agree. I'd like to see Fuego del Sol back. I've been watching him in the Indies, though. The Bunny is one I would love to have back. Let

me think who else? I like Stuve Grayson. I think Ethan Eaton Page I miss him. Leo Rush would have to be one. I'd like to see Big Swow come back. Yeah, I don't nobody did well, yeah, but wrestling wrestling wise, But okay, Joey Janella, Yeah, I'm in love with Joey Janella, William Regal. Okay, so basically everybody that's ever been released by AW would like back. Okay, we get the gist. Yeah, there you go. Brian Pillman Jr. There you go. Oh my god, Okay, so much for my I was like, I

was secondized, how this that gonna come up with anybody? And she came up with everybody? Everybody, every everybody come back. Oh my gosh, you are just so sweet that you want everybody back. I want everybody to come back. You are so sweet. Well look let's move on, and Sutton is here finally. But anyway, yay, we're gonna move on.

Because Will osprey Uh did an interview this week where he said that he wants AW to go international and that's his goal, and any names and places that are not really that popular as far as you know, international places or you know out of the way places. I mean he mentioned the places like Australia, you know, South Dakota, things like that. But did you catch that anyway? A Well, look, I'm kind of torn on this and I kind of wanted to hear what you guys wanted to say about this,

because do you think that that AW should kind of go international? I mean, let's face it, where in the Aw's in Canada right now? They were in Canada last last year didn't really go that well. You know, I don't know what do you think can we? Do you think we could have as another Webley as far as not the size of the crowd but the

excitement, yes, I really do. I don't know how they're going to do it with the semantics of the live TV and stuff, or do another pay per view of there would be great, but you know, I want to see it not in Europe, but I want to see it in Mexico.

H Some of those bigger some of those Arenas and Bill I know they love their wrestling in Mexico and Puerto Rico would be cool as well, but because look, they're starving for it, and it's an untapped market that I don't think AW has utilized, and they got so many Spanish wrestlers they might as well do something with them, and I think they would do do good over there. Yeah, I don't know what the market it is, you know, as far as a lot of these international places. Obviously England does

well, Japan does well, Mexico course does well. I would assume Australia does well. But I don't really you know, I just have to plead ignorance. I really don't know, you know, other you know, like Saudi Arabia, but France, I mean Elimination Chamber in France, that crowd was just absolutely electric. You know, you couldn't help it, love it just for the crowd. Yeah, m yeah, yeah, I agree.

Like if they tried to do you know, maybe a yearly, like once a year, one of their pay per views is a different place each year. Maybe in addition to Wembley, like it would be hard to tour, like it's easy to tour Canada obviously, because they can bring their trucks up to Canada, they just drive them through the border. But going to Europe, I'm sure is very expensive, or going to Australia and all these places,

but if they did it yearly. And I'd also like to see a Japanese Forbidden Door equivalent, you know, hosted by njp W but with aw wrestlers, just to feel like the relationships a little more equal. Yeah, yeah, what you would you like to see like the women's division, like invade stardom for example. Yeah, I mean that that would be awesome.

And I know they've had hints of Anti J potentially joining a group in stardom that was pretty much shot down as suit as uh oh I was mentioned, because they were definitely talking about I can't remember the wrestler's name, and I'm so embarrassed that I can't, but they were definitely talking about a certain woman and it wasn't Yeah, I just think that people were so into the prospect of ata J going over, because You're not the only person that I've heard

say this quy far, but it was obvious to people that know stardom, so that they were speaking about a stardom wrestler and uh what, I like energy to be that woman absolutely mm hmm. I mean yeah, I'm just trying to think where else they could go. Uh I don't I don't know.

Like I said, next, go to my only with the timeline, and you know, they need to stop staying in the Chicago metro area and stop bombarding some places that they have and pick views and splurge out a little because uh aw is so thick into certain areas that that fans get burnt out by one but by always having shows there, so it spread out a little

bit internationally and I think it could work right. Anybody else have any comments about the international shows, the prospects of having international shows or events, pay per views, whatnot? Huh quiet? No, not really, Okay, so let's just move on to preview the I can't really call it a match card for some reason because it's a lot of talky talkie stuff going on tomorrow. But so the Dynamite match card, Alex, I mean, what do

you want to talk about first? Mm hmm. Yeah, well I want to talk about the Orange Cassidy Trump Barretta match first because this this feels like a big feud to me and it's obviously been a long time brewing in a w and I feel like it's been it hasn't been as featured as maybe I would like to see. I'm kind of hoping it ends up being at least the main event tomorrow night, and we could see some and there's a lot of intrigue with Don Kallas and you know, is he is he going to

be on Orange Cassidy side? Could he? Could it be a double turn and we see him with Trumperetta, But I think it'll be a really good match. There's a lot of heat behind it, and yeah, I'm hoping it's the main event tomorrow and we see a lot of drama. Yeah, I'm totally forgotten about Don Callison Orange Cassidy until you just mentioned it. It should be the main event. In my opinion, I really life the story

it's been building. It's been oddly a miss from Dynamite. It's kind of taking a back burner some of the other crazy stuff going on with the stuff. But I'm just glad it's not being settled on different show that it needs to be settled on Dynamite. Yeah, I like Trent, but I like Orange Cast any more. But Trent needs to step out. I don't know how I would book it, honestly, because if Trent lose this, he looks weak. If Orange Cassidy loses, he can lose and still be okay.

So we will see how that ends up, how how it's gonna be. Book is most intrigued that will move on Trent higher ground if he does well. Who else everybody is very I like that match, but I don't know, just uh, it just seems to me, like the whole don Kyllis thing with Orange Cassidy kind of seems odd to me. I don't know why. It'll depend on how what we see from Orange tomorrow, but yeah, I figure, uh, I don't think it's good. If Don Callis has his way, it won't be a regular match. It don't end in

chaos. It'll be chaos. B Yeah, I like to see. Yeah, I was gonna say, even if Orange Cassidy was Evil Orange Cassidy, it's just it's so hard for me to see him with Don Callous. And I know, I know it could be a quicker, moving, more brutal Orange Cassidy, but I just imagine Evil Orange Cassidy would be just as slow and sloth like just doing heel things. On top of that, I'm just

interested in seeing two things. I want to know where Sue is gonna ligne and all this, and and if she'll get involved, will Sue wear SPANX, because I think I could speak for everybody. We want to see Sue in the wrestling ring and spandex. Oh my butt. Just nobody disagreed with

me, by the way, You notice that I spoke for everybody. Everybody was like, yeah, yeah, okay, I don't want to speak for everybody for a lot from now on, and see if I'll just come up with the most preposterous things and see if we could get a mixed tag team Trent Bretta and Few versus Orange Cassidy and Mama Cassidy. Did you just make that up? Yeah? Obviously I don't know what he calls his mom. His mother's an orange worse nectory nectary, you know, Yes, I don't

know why that baby laughs hard. That's good, Oh boy? So yeah, I can say it more cocky orange cash. If he goes heel ish ah, I think he needs to go fast. I think he needs to maybe poke fun at people more and mock them. You know, he he's just to be gotten stale. Like you know, we all know what has Max is going to be. So he needs a more edge to him. He needs I don't. I just want more out of him, and I know he he can be more than just a happy, go lucky underdog like

normally is. There has to be more because he needs to be fire correct And I don't know what that was a w G, but I'm sure that he could be a lot more than he is right now. Yeah, well, let's face it with Orange Cassidy. Orange Cassidy's U baby face maneuver is the lazy, half hearted thumbs up, so heel maneuver would be the lazy,

half hearted thumps down. And if he does that tomorrow, we know he's gone full you Yeah, yeah, I want to see him do a very slow, low blow, very slowly put his feet on the rope. Oh God like that. Well, we know Don Callous can bring out the worst in people, so it's quite possible to see him with Callous, I think, because Callous is that kind of manipulative, you know, behind the scenes, always in your ear person. So I think if anybody can bring

out the bad and Orange Cassidy, it would be callous. I'm excited to see it. Yeah, I'm excited to see so because remember remember how Taqushta was and he got with Callous and just completely is a different person that even happened with Kenny way back when. So I think it's going to be pretty interesting and really good. Yeah, I'm I'm imagining Orange Cassidy dressed exactly like

Don Kallas standing next to him. Oh yeah, maybe maybe like a bald headed cap Oh god, yeah, at the say, I don't want to you know, the slit on his forehead, you know, like Harry Potter, Almighty, It's like, I don't know Harry Potter, car so silly. Look, so hey, I know I could speak for everybody about this thing segment. I want to speak for this. I know, I know I speak for everybody when I say that, Uh, does anybody actually give a crap about the Chris Jericho A big billow uh? An action segment.

It's not that they're talking, they're gonna be an action would be it's a tree of Jericho, tree of learning. It's learning tree. There's so much there there is. Yeah, I'm just I'm gonna absorb it through my TV. There's just so much to learn. Yes, cul guys, just sit there and put your hands against the screen and your family will be like, what the hell are you doing? I already have Sparkley jackets and shoes. It's not that we're missing. He needs to come up with a song the

Cult of Jericho then then the then the impersonation is complete. Come on. I think it's gonna be fun. It just depends. I don't know. I have no faith at all in this segment. I mean, he definitely needs to bring muffins to a press press conference and eat them while he's while he's doing it. And he should get a dog, Yes, he should Harry Harry, Harry, Yeah, called scapegoat then and then I always be bandaged up. Yeah, yeah, you should get a dog. You should

get a cat? Is what it different? You know? You know it's hairless cat. Oh m hm. I don't know why Luther's face just popped at them my head on that. I don't know why. Oh yeah, yeah, I mean I wouldn't even mind if Eddie Kingston came out and interrupted this. Masca, that'll be good. Get it all the way like it no Jericho is doing. I love this version of Jericho and a lot of people don't. They want to see less of Jericho, but there's just the

right amount of Jericho in my life. Is what's going on right now, and it's great. He has a yeah he has this no self awareness and I love it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly if he's doing what people have accused him of doing. And it's fun and I don't know where it's going, and I'm looking forward to seeing are they going to be a tag team? Are they going to feud with hook in the tag team partner? Is Chris Jericho just gonna build up the learning tree so there's more and

more people in it, Like it's early and it's interesting to me. So yeah, I'm just curious to see where it's gonna go. Everybody's expecting this to be a jobber match, because in action is the jobber match. But what if we pulled an action endready? What if Big Bill and Chris Jericho came out to the ring and then they announced their opponents but they're not already

in the ring. That's be a hint that something's going on, and then the Motor City machine Guns come out a living shit out of Chris Big Bill Man, there you go. The learning tree gets chopped down and we can move on with something with everyone, and saying that now you speak for everyone. All right, what do you want to talk about next? From Dynamite, Alex, Let's talk about d Yeah, they're getting a Serena Deep promo.

I think she's had one or two pretty good promos, but she's also had some really bad promos in her time, among the worst, I would say in AW. So I'm hoping we get a better, better than usual from Serena Deebs. And I'm sure we'll get a lot of Tony Storm in this. Yeah, that probably goes without saying. I don't do you give Serena Deep even a slight chance against Tony Storm? Unfortunately? Not. I think they're they're kind of just buying time until Tony Storm inevitably breaks up with

Mariah May or maybe someone else takes the title from Tony Storm. But I really don't see it being Serena Deeb. Unfortunately. She could maybe be like a TBS champion, but I don't see her being the AW Woman's Champions. Yeah, I agree, m Yeah, that's pretty much and I think I can speak for everyone. What Well, that just spoke for everyone said,

Yeah, that's basically it. I just and it's unfortunate because I really like Serena D. But they've done nothing to make this even remotely interesting for me. So let's move on then, and probably where Serena D Is going to come out is either just before or just after the Mariah May and Harley Cameron match, which I am sorry, but for me, this is probably going to be the most entertaining match of the night, simply because Harley Cameron's always

entertaining. What was that, MK? Who's Harley Cameron. She's the one with the gigantic TV you know that's with all the time? Oh okay, you guys rap song against the acclaimed back in the day. She actually an Australian pop star. I don't know if star is the right trend. She is a very accomplished singer. There we go, all right, and uh at a complete basket. Yeah, I don't like she hasn't been on Dynamite a lot, but like I've seen her on Rampage and and her backstage segments,

Like she's hilarious. She's a really good actor. She's like been playing the crazy girl and really playing off soriah really well. But she has not been featured on Dynamite maybe ever. Like some people don't even know. Some people on this podcast team did not even know who don't know. I mean, did you see her thing on on the e W with RJ City. No, I didn't even go back and watch that. There's a great spot on there. Or RJ City says, so you know, have you had

any work done? And she looks agast at him and says, what do you whatever? Do you mean just my tits just something that and that went right into the next thing. It was absolutely fire. It was gold. I mean, she one of the things I like about Harley Cameron, and I appreciate this and anybody that is trying to be funny. I love self depreciating humor, and she makes fun of herself constantly and I just dig it.

I'm there for it. She is so good at what she does and she's got to be good tomorrow night getting her ever loving asked what by Mariah me, because there's no chance she ever like. She's definitely not wrestled on Dynamite to my knowledge, but she yes. She She has wrestled three matches for a w Two matches were wins against non roster women, and then she did have one loss against a roster woman, she lost to Willow Nightingale, So that's her extent. But you know, look, it made no sense

at all for Mariah May to lose to Harley Cameron. But you know, look, I mean Sirea and Harley Cameron her partners as far as you know, whatever their thing is together. But Soraya herself hasn't wrestled in the match in over eight months, or hasn't won a match in over eight months. That is so so uh yeah, so are they This just seems like some kind of way to get say, had Harley Cameron involved in a story somehow, which I think is a good thing because Soria is actually really funny.

She's really good at what she does. She's very good at being funny, and Harley is hysterical. They both have about the same amount of wrestling skill these days. So they could be just the I hate to say it, what is it. They could be the female version of Aw's Outrunners that better well, but yeah, no, yeah, so Riah, she gets a bad rap. But like I remember seeing one of the live shows and she

like she's at ringside, she's working the crowd. Like, she's really talented personality, maybe not so much as a wrestler, but yeahah's great, she's slow, she's been slowed down by injury. I'm sure she was a fantastic wrestler. Well she just can't do it anymore. And I don't hold that against her at all, you know, but yeah, you're right, she's she's not just standing there looking. She is out there working every part of the crowd that she can possibly work. She is a good worker. She

works her butt off. She does what she's supposed to do, and she does. I have to admit when she first came out, inn Aw, she did kind of like the Mercedes Moon anything, you know, falling over it like I like to say. And she actually got to be pretty good and promos. I enjoy her. Yeah, so yeah, she's a lot

better. It's one it's one unhidden group versus another. I mean, you've got that leaves a lot of That leaves for a lot of what could be a lot of fun between the four of them, especially leading up to you know, I touched on the serenadep earlier. I kind of feel bad for Serena, for Syria, for Serena d because they're putting her in a mass

that you know she's not to win. She deserves better than that, but this is a way for them to kind of give them a way to have her lose and involve somebody that can help push Tony into that further crazy place where she'll probably end up going when they have her lose the title. Right, yeah, m Well, anybody else have anything to say about the Mariah May and Harley Cameron. I think just just to touch on the Serena Deeb

Tony Storm match that's inevitable at double or nothing. What all I want to see from that is just like an amazing match that that rivals what the men have been doing on the last few shows. So I'm really hoping that Serena Deep's the right opponent for Tony Storm and they just can go out there and have like one of the best women's matches that we've seen in a long time in AW that's my help, and I know there's somebody else here that's kind

of like this. I'm not feeling Tony Storm in the ring at all. I love her character, but I'm not feeling it in the ring, and I just don't think that you could put Tony Storm with anybody and have a have a five star match. I don't think that she's that type of wrestler. I think she's more of an entertainer than a wrestler. Yeah, I'm hoping she can prove you wrong. I'm sorry. It seems to me that she's actually lost something about herself in the ring ever since she went this route.

Because when she first came in, Tony Storm was a good wrestler. She put on good matches and she was you know, but they put her into this character and it's just like, I can't even really explain it. It's just like she lost She like reverted back to a form from being not who she really is. Just that way to me. Well, something what I will say about that is this is something that I thought about too.

When Tony Storm came to AW her matches were entertaining, but she was wrestling she they were they were different as timeless Tony Storm pretty much auver matches stick with a certain foret. It's kind of like watching Hulk Hogan wrestle, right, you knew what you were going to get in the match. It was enjoyable, but you knew exactly what you're going to get in the match,

and that's basically what Tony Storm is doing. And it's it's it's like a five minute interlude in the in the middle of a play, you know, and they put that's that's your entertainment, and I don't know. I'll also explain it. I mean, it's not that I don't like it, it's just that it's really I'm not feeling it as far as it's not going anywhere for me. It's maintained a steady sameness, right, all right, So Alex, what what do you want to talk about? What match or want

to talk about that? Yeah, we got three more left. Let's talk about Adam Copeland versus Brody King. I like, I'm excited for this match. I love House of Black, I love brody King. They're both big guys, so that's interesting. But the problem with this match is it's just very predictable in that it's just Adam Copeland beating Brodie King before his inevitable match with Malachi Black. Uh. So, like, I'm excited, but it is it is what it is, just kind of getting from point A to

point B. Go ahead, go ahead. So I don't think that's how it's going to go. I think that after last week with the way that match ended with Malaca coming out telling him to hit the concerto and then they you know, I think that I think that this is what I what I really want to see is between now and then. I want to see them, but it kind of seems like it's too short. I like the whole idea of them. It feels to me like there's a possibility that we could

have another Julia because of the Black Mist. They're pushing Adam to try to convert him, and I don't know, it just seems like they're that that whole thing is gonna be kind of a waste of time if something doesn't happen. But you only have three more weeks, no, I mean three weeks until the pay per view, and it's kind of like you not got enough time for that to materialize. But I don't, I don't know. I

don't I don't see I see that. And in kind of the same way last week, I see him about to do something to Broody and you know, they come out again, and it's I just I don't know. It just would be cool as hell, because I love House of Black anybody I hope they can. I hope that they do something to push that story along in an interesting way, but I don't know if they will. Yeah, right, I hope they get it right whatever they choose to do, because

yeah, it needs something. I have a question for everybody. Does anybody else get a vibe of the International Championship when Orange Cassidy had it where he was getting the crap beat out of him every match leading up to the pay per view, just to make it seem like he was Superman into pay per view. It just seems to me like Adam Couplet's getting the crap beat out of him every week leading up to an INNFL matchup against Malachite Black at double

or nothing. So it seems like they're repeating this formula in many ways to me, I see where you're coming from, But that's basically the same formula you have almost always in anything like that. I, like I said, there's so much potential they could do with this, but it and its kind of sad that it's such a short build up to the paper view. But right, you know, if it was if it wasn't gonna happen it double or nothing, and it happened all in it would be better. But I

don't know. It just it's all gonna depend on We'll see after the mar for sure. But I don't know. I just I wish there was good, Like you said, I wish there's gonna be something more than this. Well, you know, let's move on then to the next segment. Did anybody here do what I did and look online to see if Swarre Strickland's father was still alive? Oh? No, they there's there is no answer.

They. I know, back when Swerve was very much younger. Uh and they he did make a post on Twitter about his dad, uh, saying that he had not talked to his dad very often in the last few years, but it meant the world to him that he came to see him. Russell and I believe it was in n XT. I may be wrong there, but he was fairly young when he when his dad came to see him.

Wressell and he to add pictures with his father. Again, this is years ago, and his father did look rather older than I expected, let's put it that way. Uh. So, yeah, so we're gonna have a face to face mining between Adam Copeland and Swerve. Adam Copeland Christian Cage and Swear Strickland. I kind of looking forward to this to see what Christian

Cage is gonna say. Yeah, he's an interesting guy. Mhm yeah, yeah, I love Christian Cage, just I love anyone that that does those promos where you're just like, oh my god, Like MJF was great at it where your jobs is kind of on the ground and you can't believe he went there. I live for that stuff. So yeah, that's why I love Christian Cage and that's why I miss m JF. And yeah, I'm

looking forward to this. He did already mention I think that he's going to be Swereve Strickland's children's father, So we will find out the status of swear Strickland's dad very I'm sure we're gonna find out on Dynamite. Yeah, oh boy, m hmm. It's Is it sick that we're looking forward to seeing At least I am looking forward to hearing the if swear Strickland's father is stole or not. That is just those are so good. I can't help it.

The stuff he says is just so good. I actually dig when he says, be quite all of conducting my business I don't know why, but I live for that. Yeah, and are we going to see are we going to see the Mogul embassy actually get involved with this as a backup for Swerve. It would be nice. Yeah. They've kind of like taken them

away from him. Yeah. Yeah, speaking of the local embassy, did you see the video of Tony khn trying to do Daniel Garcia's dance and when he did it, it actually came out he was doing Daniel Garcia's dance supposedly, but it looked a lot like Prince Nana's dance. I just found that hysterical. Of course, I had something to do with his terrible injury, you know, but hey, the billionaire had fun getting out there making yet

again a complete ass out of himself. Kudos to you this condition. So there's two kudos I gave out this week, one to Tony Khan and one of Nicholas Dickhead. So there you go. Yeah, no, I need to see that. I love Swerves. I love Prince Nana's dance. I always do it and my wife's embarrassed. Oh god, we should on aw fatom subreddit, we should do a film yourself doing the Prince Nana or Daniel Garcia dance challenge and see if anybody is dumb enough to actually do it.

So everyone we will give away ah on a shirt shirt. No, we'll give out a gifts or ticket for two free pizzas at Yeah, you got to do it in such a way that you have to submit it exactly at like nine pm, so you have to click it right at that moment. You know, if anyone else, if everyone else is chickened out or not, you don't know, you end up being the only person. I swear. I would love to just make the post that's say we're doing a giveaway,

uh surprise giveaway. You have to set us a ten second video of you doing the either the de Garcia, Prince dot it and I would just like I get something away to everybody that that submitted a video, because I'm sure nobody would be stupid enough to do it. I am possible, but I highly disagree it's going to I know that you know Sun and that will definitely said one un just to spite me, But no, I'm not. But there would be more response. That would probably be one of the most

highly responded to. Oh God, I would guess if I made that post and put it up. Within an hour, it would be downvoted to down vote. Hell, I swear to God, I'd be like, this is the dumbest thing because it's meant to be stupid. So people would be like, this is the toughest post. Oh God, So I put off topic. Now that does anybody else have anything to say about the face? The face between swear strictly that I want to say, Christian Cage. God,

my father is Christian Cage. I have an orphan is it ever? It Christian? So he can go back into obscurity. He's not obscure, but he is going to get beat. He was for a good month. Y mmmm he was. He was carrying the company on his shoulders for for months. So uh, definitely, well that's what he would say. Of course,

he was just resing his eyes. Actually. Actually that kind of that kind of blends together with what we were talking about earlier with the with the the House of Black, if you really want to look at it that way, because we're looking for a way for you know, there's there's there's gonna we're thinking that later down the road, it's going to be coupling and Christian

back together as a tag team. It kind of gives you they could combine the two and have Christian come out eventually to say that and Copeland from House of Black Right, Yeah, because there's a lot of moving parts. Like we had Claudio warning Swerve about Prince Nana. I mean like that could somehow lead to the Mogul Embassy and the Patriarchy joining forces and against Christian Cage he

gets sniped from that new group that's now led by kill Switch. I don't know, I'm just making stuff up, but it's kind of like a corporate ministry kind of thing. Then we could have a embassy patriarchy. What if we had a match between Mama Wayne mm hmmm and no not Mama Casts Sue and spandex uh huh with with with Aubrey Edwards is the special as the guest referee or rock Jim Crockett is a special guest because here we go. I think I think Mama Wayne would destroy to Cornett. Okay, Jip Crockett,

I'll tell you what. Let's let's see what I can screw how I can screw up Kenny Obega. You know later, So what do you say, Alex, Yeah, I think that's all we have. Laugh If we want to switch to the maybe the most interesting segment of the night, Henny Omega has an important announcement. Is he going to be in in a wheelchair or is he going to have the giant surgery scar from his Yeah? Is he? Is he going to throw the colostomy bag at someone? I said on

purpose? By the way, Okay, that's what I'm going with that. That that's that's my final Yeah. I I feel like, you know, this is going to lead to UH anarchy in the arena somehow with double or nothing with the elite versus F t R and some other people. So I'm expecting this to be more clear on who's on either side. I think I see Marston Machine Guns joining in on that anarchy in the arena with Omega.

Mm hmm. Yeah. We also might not get both of F t R because I know Cash has some things he has to deal with in Florida, So it might just be Dacks and it could be yeah, well, you know, there has been some speculation that Kenny Megatron is going to UH announce just KF retirement. What I doubt it. God, yeah, yeah, I don't see that. I could see him announcing a match against Okada for Wembley or something of that nature, maybe faking and retirement and then kind of

doing a swerve. Yeah, so Cody rose and put his boots in the middle of the ring. That was Billy Gunny Roads did it as well. Oh I don't Malcot Yeah, Oh yeah, I don't know. I everybody's talking about they think he's going to do the the retirement thing. I don't think that's gonna be it. I think he's coming out and he's gonna say and see. That's it all comes down to for me. How how how

how k fabe are they making this or is this real his? Because he took a lot more of a beating last week than I would have expected him to to be in the pain that he's supposed to be in. Yeah. I've talked to people who have diverticulitis and have been in the situation as far as what his how bad his was, and they told me there's no way in the hell that that could have happened if he was that bad. Because he took a hell of a beating. He did a lot of physical stuff.

Yeah, and for someone who's not supposed to be cleared, it doesn't make any sense. So I'm hoping he comes out he's announced that. Actually, I hope they opened the show with it. I hope TK comes on the screen again with the Improvise Office and says, Kenny's now in charge. He's taking my he's going to be my man in the place, and he's going to talk about that, and they'll play it along until probably all in

that Kenny's hurt. But I do believe it'll be him and Okada at all ins and then all of a sudden, we're gonna be August Swerve to Hell and he's the fifth Man. Oh m hm, oh yeah, yeah. I was thinking that we would get maybe Hangman back to challenge like in the Anarchy and the Arena, and be against the elite and then betray whoever whatever team he was on and joined the elite. But yeah, it could be Kenny ending up with them instead. Yeah no, I mean, yep,

Hangman has a pretty with that, so I don't see him join. But that's just my opinion. Mm hmmm. I think yeah. The reason I think it is just because when we last saw a Hangman he was leaning heel pretty hard against Swerves, so this kind of makes sense if if somebody was gonna come out to be like Begatron's Kenny Kenny a Begatron uh tag tape partner, who do you think it would be? Would you think it would be

somebody like Hagman Pens? Can they get that? Can they get his Golden Lever partner to come back and wrestle for a while, That's sure, hope. I mean you know it's a bushy, right, yeah, So if he's progress according to the videos, he's he's progressing a lot faster than he should be. Uh right, So Keny Bushy come in and be is you know they could be the the uh because we talked about it before and we

give the elite the and I gave the elite the nw O Moniker. But uh, I'm kind of thinking that if they keep it the way it is, they're more of the original Four Horsemen than they are with a twist instead of the w O. Because you know, everybody, everybody says, you know, everything was always the groups were always based mostly on the Four Horsemen.

They were the first original group like that, and everything, whether it be the n w O or d X or anybody, everybody got their basis in the horsemen, the difference between the horsemen and others of the groups where the horsemen got the shit kicked out of them more than they did anything else. But it was anything, you know, and two but it could be I mean, they're oh God, the possibilities t K's I'm sorry, I gotta say this. T K is a genius because he is. He is

way, this is all sudden. You can I'm sorry, you can't come after you want. And I'm gonna argue with you that t K is a genius because he has done he is. He is doing things in a w that everybody always wanted to see to get done. You know, we back in the day when there was w c W and w w E. You wanted to see those two groups go against each other. And t K has gotten together and made a pay per view out of Forbidden Door and the Opportunity.

This year you're gonna have c M L L and New Japan and start Us or all these different things together and it's just getting better and better. And even though it's not going to include the w w E, the w w E now talking about wanting to work with other companies which under Vince they

never would have did because Vince with how do you gets that? So, I mean, and I'm sorry, but this this whole idea that they came up with this and they're doing it, You're gonna have people that you're gonna look at it and go well and doing too much like WCW and it's gonna look sad and they're gonna screw it up and everybody's gonna get the joint. I don't think that's gonna happen. I think he knows what he's doing. I think he's got it set up perfectly. And there's just it's one of

those things where I forget who said it last week. It might have been Alex. You tune in because you have no idea what's gonna happen next week? Right, we have no clue besides what's on the card, what's gonna happen tomorrow. Because the leaguers start to show again, they could take over. You could have them, you know, you could have those three show up and get split off and Kenny and is ready to go, and I

mean, it's just crazy, But we'll see what happens. I mean, that's that's the fun part about it is it's to that point where they're making wrestling fun again, right, Yeah, that's true. Mm hmm. Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it. I don't really even want to speculate about it because I'd like to be surprised because you know, I'm always right. Well I'm only wrong, so everyone everyone thought I'm always right when I speculate. Yeah, if I speculate, I know it's not going to happen.

So yeahs what he drives. I'm always right when I speculate. So there you go. They're going to come out and reveal that Eddie Kingston's behind it all. Oh, I was thinking he could be. He could get involved with the elite here. I love it. Yeah, I could see him part of the Anarchy Arena match for sure. Was waiting for kill. Why seriously, why would you have Eddie and this is this isn't anything against Eddie Kingston, no matter how terrible he is. Why would you have anybody

right now go with the elite, just against them. Yeah, I'm not saying you would join them, but I could definitely see him well as one of the babyface guys that are gonna I do think Eddie Kingston could take out all the elite on his own you know, just you know, you use use this new finishing move that he's been working on. Have you seen it on YouTube? He doesn't really do anything. He just gets on the ring and tries to wrestle and everybody falls asleep from boarders. He calls it the

Sadman. I was going to accuse you of watching more Eddie Kingston than you're letting on. But I don't think that that's actually a YouTube video, is it this year's sarcasm? Ward goes to, oh my god, it's between me and Nicholas Dickhead. That's for sure. I can tell you that right now. I just want to say that name I should get royalties. How much I said Nicholas Dickheaded this in this podcast. Wow, that's a superstar. That's what you can name the podcast. At least thank you, Nicholas

Dickhead. I don't think that will go over very well with the with the censors, but that a star or now a lot of stars, D star C star h E star D D for president baby Eddie kingkstiming the name of Eddie Kingston versus the versus the elite. There you go all it here and he's going to be the hero and all this, and he's going to have a new cape and everything. I would have called him fart man, but

that's already been taken by a heart Stern. But in in Rosie and Rosie cosplay, there's nothing more entertaining on this podcast than when I opened my mouth about Eddie Kingston. I'll tell you what. It was, the whole point of bringing him up, to be honest. Yes, well, shave on you, shame on you. But hopefully we see him tomorrow. Fingers crossed, fingers crossed the comment, Yeah, ok, Alex, you need to

take over. I just threw up a little in my mouth. Uh, It's okay, We'll just we'll fill the time with where Eddie Kingston talk. Let's your favorite Eddie Kingston match? Guys. I don't know why he gets so much hate. Yeah, I like him. I have nothing against them. It's I'm sure he's a lovely man. Yeah, he's fantastic. I love him, honestly, I do. I think it's he's so much of it. He's a throwback to old times. Yeah, even before he's he's

like a throwback to like early seventies wrestlers. He's not even w w E he's back. Yeah, he's like Florida Championship Wrestling and Georgia Cha Memphish. Yeah, you know. He's a wrestler for the people, for the for the regular every day person. There you go. I got he's the he's the son of a plumber's cousin. That's right, his son of someone. Instead of be yellow, it could be yellow and black. Oh jeez, this is just this podcast is simply disintegrated before our eyes. I swear to

God. Well that's what happens. You have mercy on our phone, on our soul. I almost did you know what I just said, have mercy on our phones. I can't even speak at all today. Thank you, guys, thank you, and thank you. Nicholas Dickhead. Oh my god. I have to get another one in. I'm sorry I had to. And since Sun came late, he probably has no idea why what I'm talking about. I will find out. I will find out tomorrow. Be in

suspense. That's fine. God. So for some reason you are listening to this podcast, and for whatever reason, went to the end first because it's early. The first thing I talked about, anyway, That's how I introduced the show was with Nickolas Dickhead. So I mean, and I think I've now said it about twenty five times in the show. Thank I thank you so much. I hit the quota. I'm one hundred thousand dollars richerd. It's gonna say, did you hit that the payment plateau? I don't know.

It is what it is, though we look That seems like a strange and proper place to end this podcast. Will be back again tomorrow night. For all. He talked right after Dynamite. That's gonna be fun. I tell you what, I think Tomorrow Night has a chance, and I hope I'm not wrong. I think Tomorrow Night has a chance to be a pretty insane show, not as far as wrestling goes, but with just something the lead up going to double or nothing. We can see a lot of moving

parts on the show. I really do. Yeah. I think like a story heavy episode, right for sure? Right and I don't think we're gonna see rip clear m. Maybe he's hot right now, he's a hot wow. Anyway, Yeah, that's gonna be the end of the podcast. Thank you for listening to Ignition. This is Kelson, this is Alex. I can't even say it. Good night, everybody. I'm trying to get so serious as that it didn't work. I'm such an idiot.
