It's Tuesday. You know what that means. It's time for Ignition with the A. W. Fatoub podcast team. This is Kelson and this is Alex, and I think the theme of today's episode is going to be Japan. Japan. Yeah, so yeah, there's a lot, there's a lot of Alex. I don't know what that sound effect I just made it was what Japan thing? I don't know. I don't think so. I think maybe like the golf clap is the sound of Japanese wrestling. Seriously, mm hmmm,
gosh, it's like going to a funeral and I should know. But anyway, go ahead, Alex, Yes, all good, all good. Yeah. So the big thing that happened, I mean, coming out of Wednesday's episode of Dynamite, they showed the video of Jack Perry and see him punk s guffling for like one second, and Jack Perry coincidentally had a match of Friday with New Japan in Chicago, Chicago being the hometown of DM Punk.
So like everyone was buzzing out over the fact that he's going to be appearing there in Chicago in front of the Chicago crowd, and he put on an awesome show. I don't know, and anybody else see this match or see clips of it. I saw highlights on Yeah, I saw yeah. So we came out with a leather jacket that said crimea River on the back. He came out of the Chicago flag, and he came out all so
with like six guys in riot gear. I guess to protect him from the fans, but he actually got like if the crowd wasn't in Jungle Boys or Jack Perry's favor, they were at least like a fifty to fifty split. They were Yeah, they were chanting, oh Crime your riv It was, yeah, you got choked out, No you didn't chance like dueling, Yeah it was. It was awesome and he really like played the heel well the whole match. He took his time. He was basking in the hate or
the just the jeers of the crowd and everything. Yeah, it was really awesome, and I think it felt like that's probably his last match in New Japan. So yeah, I get the sense that just An I don't think it's confirmed, but I mean next weekend is is Dynasty, and if he doesn't show up on Dynamite this week, then I think there's a a pretty good chance that he shows up on Dynasty. Okay, but okay, so but Alex, if he shows up on Dynasty, what part is he going
to play? Who's he going to side with? Is he going to side with anybody? That's That's the question I have for you. Mm hmmm. I think, and be based on you know, the Young Bucks have been, you know, shouting him out to the camera. They had a scapegoat T shirt on last week's episode of Dynamite while they were doing their whole thing.
There's a very good chance that the Elite is not just the three person unit, and that we see like Jack Perry join up with them as well, and like behind the scenes, we also know he's changing in the Young Bucks locker room, like he's a big close fan, close friends with the Young Bucks behind the scenes as well. So I think that makes a lot of sense. Okay, Elite feel a little bit like to me, like
they're growing into a bullet club asque type of deal. If it was me, I would set him by himself just because he needs to stand out and he needs to be able to learn to eat on his own. But that's just my I mean, you know, that's just my deicience on that mm hmm, yeah, like I that makes sense, but I also worry about like he's got buzz right now. You put him with the elite, they're
great, They are great at getting the fans to be against them. And if you put him by himself and he falls flat, it can quickly go wrong. The biggest problem with putting him by himself there's not really anywhere to put you know what I mean, He don't really have an opponent right now, and it would all depend on who they put him up against. I like the idea with going to the to the elite, but we talked about that last week, so you know it's just gonna be it's gonna be interesting
for damn sure. So do you have any thoughts of who you would put him up against then? If I was to bring if he's coming back, I mean you okay, So we haven't seen we haven't seen uh Christian since he lost the title. I haven't heard anything from him, haven't heard about him at all. They haven't talked about him. So if if in reality, because that was what was the thing he was going with before he left, I would I would put him up against Christian. If Christian's gonna come
back, if he's done with his little maybe self imposed hiatus. But other than that, I really don't know where he would fit yet because I haven't seen his character in New Japan. So I've heard about it. I've heard what he's been doing, but I haven't actually seen it yet, so not knowing how he's changed, I would need to see it, you know what
I mean. I'd have to see it before I could figure out who I would want to put him up against, because he can go up against anybody, m but he's kind of he's kind of like unhinged like, but not in a Tony Storm kind of unhinged kind of way. And I'm gonna throw something out there and see if you guys agree with because I was thinking about it too, and I kind of don't want to see him go with the elite, but I don't want to go and see him go with anyone.
My idea for Jack Perry is, and I'm gonna say a name here, and I'm not alluding to that Jack Perry is this guy is as good as this guy, all right, But I kind of see Jack Perry is kind of like with the reception that he's gotten in New Japan and his promos that he's done in New Japan. He's kind of like an ant high hero, something like a stone Cold Steve Austin type character, not as you know,
likable. I guess yeah, he rich can spoiled brat stone cold, and that's the way I see it. I'm interested to hear what others may have to say about but see that gives him the perfect fit with the elite, because that's exactly what they are. They're the rich kid ev P. You know, all they ever used to do was talking about shoes. They would go out and buying that kind of thing. So he kind of does been
in that group. But uh, I get I get where you're coming from though though kill Like I said, it just depends on m If you put him in that sense, I can see him getting involved with fighting the continuing to fight against like the callous family m y W I just said, I said, fight against anybody who wants to fight. Well, yeah, yeah, it depends on who they put him up against. Yeah, because I do like your idea of putting him against Christian and if you have Jungle or
Jack Perry, be respectful to him. Uh yeah, if him against Christian and if you're using that to turn Christian faith so that he can team up with Edge later. I like that idea. I don't know how you could well on that Christian. Before he left, the rumor was that they were going to have Mama turn on Christian and she and and what the what I'd heard they were planning was they were going to bring in Jack Perry as her new guy who was like the head of the group, and they kicked Christian
out and that was how they were supposed to end Christian's craziness. That was before everything happened and he left, So that's that's something that could happen. I think that would be amazing. I can't remember if it was before he left or shortly after he left, but Jack Perry did file a couple of trade barks which alluded to a re team with Lucas horse. M I just don't kill Switch and Jack Perry Luca's horse. He'll switch. He's never gonna
be killed Switch. I'm sorry, I just can't get behind that. I don't know if I want the two teams back together again. I mean, he's being a good heal I don't think he needs him. You know, he comes back first. I want to see him feud with it are some people who were related, you know who who need the push. I think he's gonna be heal. He has to be. He needs to be healed because he's soaked on that end right now. He is an anti hero,
but him him beauting with Christian will not be bad either. But I don't think he needs a joint or take over any any any clubs. I mean him and Christiannie beef of he took away his friend, but you know, I him against Christian and a renewed Hey, you were right a little bit, but I'm gonna prove you better than you type of thing. What work right well? That you've been eerily silent? Are you? Do you have any opinions on Jack Verrier? I mean, I like him. I just
don't know what they're gonna do with him. So I was trying to think about who he could feud with, and I don't know, I really don't know. I'm hopeful that they don't drop the ball with him, because he is He's in a really good position to do very very well with a W
and move the story of Jack Perry forward. But I can't think of anyone I really want to see him with I like him by himself, and I can't think of anyone I would like to see him feud with either, So I don't know, and it depends on his persona when he comes back. Right. And about that though, here's the thing. He's been doing all this in New Japan, right, how many of the fans are actually been
watching him in New Japan. So whatever he's been doing there, they may not even There may be fans that don't even have a clue and go, wow, that's such. They may you know what I mean. They may see, well, he was this way when he left and he come back and we don't understand why, so they have to be careful how they bring him back too. That's true. Right, Well, you know, move it on speaking of New Japan, because we're gonna this is a Japan based
podcast that we are going to do a Dynamite preview in shortly. But I wanted to talk about an announcement that Rocky Romero made, uh two or three days ago, I think it was like three days ago where he now said he's now the vice president of Talent for New Japan Pro Wrestling. Now he's been a liaison for New Japan Pro Wrestling with other companies for this whole time. But now he's heading up the strong events and and he will continue to
be lais on between New Japan Pro Wrestling and the companies. How do you see that, you know, coming How do you see that with the with AW? How do you see it as an affecting a W Is it more of a positive thing now that we have Rocky Romero, who's obviously you know, a big part of AAW as well. Yeah, I feel like it can only benefit AW because yeah, there he's been maybe the key person from
New Japan and all the forbidden door stuff, like Tony has mentioned. I know in the podcast I heard him saying basically he's just working and arranging everything between himself and Rocky Romero in terms of like who's coming in and all the logistics of it. So I imagine that relationship is continuing. And Rocky Romero is a wrestler as well. He's been a big part of CML, and
I'm sure he's been a big part of CML and aw's relationship. Like Rocky Romero is the quintessential like journeyman of wrestling, like he's been around for twenty years. He's been part of Ring of Honor in New Japan CMLL Triple A, so he's been around for a long time, he's held titles everywhere, and he's obviously has a really good relationship with Tony Kahan. So I think it's only positive, and especially we just saw Jack Perry basically do an excursion
to New Japan. John Moxley's now the Champion of New Japan, so yeah, I think it's only good for a w Yeah, I do think so too. Anybody else have any thoughts on this? I agree? I think I think a lot of this is going to have to do with there's been so many changes in New Japan lately that you know, they're they're losing a lot of their they've lost to some of the top stars, They've had a
lot of different things happen. So this was a possibility to like we had talked about with like stardom and aw having the opportunity to work together more. This I think will make that opportunity better for them too. With New Japan right right well, with with John Mosley being champions there too, we had a company I'm sorry he knew betweenity I GP. Yeah, it's the same thing. It's like their top title of New Japan. Okay, yeah,
so he's their big name now, dude. But I think this is a good chance for them to bring in once in a while people who they try to get over at Forbidden Door. Maybe they have a chance to show who they are and show video and get us to know people who usually show up a because I don't know who named Nido was when Jericho faced him or whoever it was, you know, so I think people like that's a great a great chance to show us, Hey, this guy's this good, this is
the story, this is the backstory, you know, and this is this and that way we can actually have Forbidden Board and that means something. Then maybe once in a while at Japanese person can actually win a match during Forbidden Door. Yeah. I'm with you on that, MK, I really am not. Did you have any opinions on the Rocky Romeo thing. I like
Rocky Romero. Uh. One thing that I know about him is he's very popular in the independent wrestling So I think that he's probably going to bring up a lot of independent wrestlers into more of the mainstream along with him, and I think that's a win win for everybody. So yeah, I think it's a huge opportunity for AW and New Japan to really get forbid and door going very very well and introduce our fans to their fans and vice versa. So
yeah, I think it's gonna be good. He's a good guy. Yeah yeah, So you know what, let's move on, so keep it in line with our Japan theme that we've got going on. The night Rassi and ousted from Stardom back and I believe it was January, maybe it was February, much to the delight of Tony Khan, because it was a parent that Rossiagawa had no intention of ever working with a w And of course since a Goa has been gone, we have now seen we have now seen Stardom talent
working with not only Ring of Honor but also AW. So that being said, the problem is is that Rossia Goawa started Marigold, which is his own company, which is a direct competition with Stardom. And yes, Stardom did lose you know, a few top talents to Marigold, and so their roster is a little bit depleted right now. And of course you've got that veterans at Stardom like Mina and oh boy, that's a POI. And you've got
Tim Nakanna. You know, there's several veterans that are there, but you've also got twenty one year olds and younger and in startom that you know they're they're called rookies. I mean they are very young and very green. I've been keep an eye on them. Then they're actually approving at a really quick rate, which is good. But Stardom in ae W look to be working together now, and I really do expect to see Marigold and WWE working together.
We already know that Julia is going to do some shows for Marrigold, but then she's going to go to n XT in WWE. So what my thought press process here and what I'd like to hear from from you guys,
your opinions, anything you want to say say. But you know, I think that it's going to be one of those things where Stardom really needs aw's helped or survive, and AW could use that to get some of their wrestlers that are that need that little extra push to become great, because I personally do feel like stardom is this is the subject to opinion, but I do feel far and away, Stardom is the best women's wrestling company in the world that it has been for maybe the last two or three years, and when
you before that, it was pretty damn good. But anyway, so you know, i'd like to hear, like what your thoughts are, I mean, do you want to see Stardom wrestlers coming to aw and Ring of Honor And who would you think would be benefit from going over to Stardom, you know, for maybe a month or two, just to help them get through this new phase that they're going through. Yeah, I would say, like, I really have enjoyed the Stardom women in aw so far. They had
awesome matches on the Rank of Honor pay per view. Mina Shirikawa has been really cool and she's had a cool storyline going with Mariah May and Tony Storm. And I really like Maria Mina Shirkawa's theme song as well. That's like stuck in my head all the time. And yeah, I think in Azumi she was on Collision, she had a really good match with Tony Storm. Like, yeah, they've been a net positive, probably more than some of
the New Japan people that have come in in the past. Like I think they've really helped the women's division in aw and I think that relationship can go both ways. Yes, The weird thing about it to me is like, why did why does this rossi Ogawa And I don't know anything about him,
but why was he so against working with Tony Kahan? Well? I think probably, and this is pure speculation here on my part, I think it probably had a lot to do with that he really wanted to work with WWE and if he worked with aw WW is going to tell him to get bent. So, you know, but Stardom see, Rossi was the founder of Stardom, but Stardom is owned by Boushi Road, which is also the owner of Japan Pro Wrestling, So Stardom is basically the sister company of New Japan,
you know. So they dictated what he could and could not do, and they let rossi Ogawa go because it seems like he was preparing to start his own company and he started purging from the Stardom roster while he was still in Stardom, and that's why they let him go. So when Rossie was let go, Tony Kahan took to Twitter like immediately and it was like thank God. And then right away. It was you know, two weeks later, the guy who took over for Ogawa, uh and I believe his last
name is Okadah was backstage with Tony Khan at an AW show. I believe it was a collision. So that's that's the story. You know, as soon as Ogawa was gone, the forbidden door opened up. So it's really obvious that Ogawa was not willing to work with Tony Khan. Yeah, that he was assuming he was going to work with WWE, which is never something
you should ever assume you're going to get to do. While Goa and Julia we're both at Russell Bania Week so as guests the w W, so it does look like, oh, go is going to be working with w W. So eventually he did get his wish yeah promotion as well. Yeah, and how much and how much? How much? How much is people? Are people going to be willing to put into a new promotion, especially with
the trade. I mean, Japan's more about tradition, right, So this is going to going to be looked upon like, uh, this dude stole these people from the company he started because he didn't get his way. I don't know, it just seems weird that that you He's almost right, You're almost I mean, it's kind of going to be like almost a given for them to work with WWE because that was where they would fit more than they
would with aw Right. Well, here's the thing. When you said Japan's more steeped the tradition, they're more steeped in loyalty, and there are there are several wrestlers who left stardom out of loyalty to Rossio Gawa, even though it's widely known that Rossio Gowa. I mean, if you ever pay attention
to stardom, those women wrestle a lot. They wrestle a tremendous amount of time, so you know you got to give them a break in if they continue with that trend with their depleted roster, that's how injuries happen, and that's how you know, seeing the same thing over and over again will get stale. So that's why I'm thinking that I wouldn't be surprised if aw said, I mean, if you haven't watched stardom, Stardom is very faction based.
They don't do a lot that isn't faction based. They have singles matches, but they're always between the two factions, and the factions are very di dynamic. They change all the time, not the names but the members within them, so there's always little feuds going on in jealousies and stuff like that.
It's actually quite good to watch. But my point is is that if they send if aw sends women over to Stardom to supplant their roster and to also give them experience, you know, it would probably be a faction. There you go, that would be cool. That's cool. On on on the subreddit. I'll I'll just give you my opinion. I would like to
hear your opinions. I want to see I thought that I would like I would like to see the Princesses of the Black Throne go over, And by that I mean that would be the faction name because Japan and the Stardom is all about princesses, women's wrestling, their princesses, cinderellas, everything like that.
So but I thought, if you were going to send four women over, I would like to see Julia Hart Sky Blue and Uh and Anna Jay at the fourth Abdon it would be what in my mind, I think the best of the fourth would be Billy Starks and on that Abadon thing Japan, and it's weird, but she kind of plays like a zombies schoolish kind of character. They don't know what. They don't have zombies in Japan, they don't do they do have a zombiesh kind of character, like a vampire kind
of character. And Stardom it's for like ten years back in the mid to t by around ten ten, twenty ten, I worked at a hunt that the owner of the Haunt had worked for a company that was partnered with people in Japan, and they brought in these guys because they'd never seen zombies. They didn't know what they you know, because it's not something to do.
So that's why I was thinking maybe if they took Abadon over there, they may have to change her character a little bit because that could be really weird. But I didn't know that about them having a character like that. They just say she's a ghost. Yeah, she's a ghost. Yeah she's she's not like a zombie, but she's very much I mean, she comes out and she has pale you know, pale face and whatnot. It's it's pretty
interesting, you know. The other thing that's interesting about Stardom to me is that they generally don't blade over there, but they do bleed, and when they bleed, it's legit bleeding. I mean, there's so many. My favorite started wrestler right now is N's a Poy. I just think she's just super cute, super dynamic, and she can do anything. And but the thing with her is that when she gets out of a match, I mean, this woman has covered in bruises from head to toe and she's got scrapes
all over her face. I mean she looks like she's been through a war. And you know that, and I like that. I like that they look like their bed in a fight, because you don't you know how like you when you watch the movie and somebody would punch somebody and they'd pop right up. That doesn't happen in real life. You know, you do get
bruises, you do get scrapes, and they do and start them. Yeah, So, Kelsen, I'm curious when you look at the roster for Marigold or Marigold, does that look like a good start for a new promotion or is it weak or is it really amazing? Like what are your thoughts on that? My thoughts are like they have some very high profile that's a small roster. I think they've got ten women right now. But for those women at least are very high profile wrestlers in the world, not only in Japan,
but they're well respected and known throughout the world. And obviously not as much as you know, like an American wrestler WWE or or or AW, but they are known throughout the world. The thing about it is, and you know, a lot of people don't like Rossie. I'm not. I am not a Rossie fan, but I have to give him his props. I have to give credit where it's where it's due, is that the man can recruit. He's probably one of the best recruiters in the world, and
he he recruits weirdly. He doesn't look for the best wrestlers. He looks for a look. He will hire, He'll put an added the paper, and I think he just I think Mary Gold just put it out the paper where they're looking for actresses and wrestlers, and they get these young nineteen twenty twenty one year old women who are athletic looking and beautiful. I mean, look, you look at the Rossi stardom roster. Ninety eight percent of them are women that you would say they could be modeled, and most of them
were. Marina Mina Shirakawa was a model, you know, and it's it's that's just the way it is. I mean Japanese wrestling and stardom, they had the look. Now there are some wrestlers in stardom that you know don't have that model look. That doesn't make them any less, but any less of a wrestling I'm just saying that's I mean, he's a he's a great recruiter, and he's great at getting people. Like I said, they call
them rookies over there. Uh, these young girls of young women to come in and they learn from from the veterans, and because it's faction based, they have a story ready built around them already, so they have something to
do. I mean, you know, some of them are just not very good, but then you watch them for a while over a year's time, with the amount of work that they get over there, I mean we're spoiled at aw where you would see a sky Blue match and then you know, you see a sky Blue match on Dynamite, then you may see another sky Blue match on Collision, and then you don't see sky Blue again for six
weeks. That does not happen. And stardom yeah, you know, yeah, like WWE diva search in finding the wrestlers, and then Japanese like intense boot camp wrestling training basically on the job training. And it's not like when I say that these women in Japan and stardom look like models, I don't mean that in any other way, because they are serious about what they're doing and they do get good. But when they start, they're green. You know, it's it's a fact. You were to start wrestling today, you'd
be green. You know. It's just you know, that's just the way it is. But their work ethic is incredible, and it takes them relatively little time compared to other companies, you know, AW and WWE specifically is what I'm talking about, where they could develop a wrestler that has no experience,
you know, and into a viable competitor considerably less time. I guess it's the best way put it. So when I so years ago, I'm going to bring it back to years ago, they had a women's tournament where it was Japan and versus and the other side was was AW wrestlers, and there were people and there were wrestlers like make Eo uh, and there was Asia Kong and there are some others and I watched uh. I got on YouTube and I watched the Japanese side more than I did the American side of
the wrestling, because I enjoyed those matches better. I think I'm hoping that maybe the women's division will be integrated into more hard hitting wrestling and make it to where you want to watch. And as someone who I want to go
over who who we haven't talked about, Punisias Curson over there. I think once ty Klwanti has you know, raise the baby a little bit stuff, maybe they maybe her and Sandy go over there and work on themselves and as a wrestler and get going with that, because I think Sandy is great by himself, but he could learn better over there. And then tay Kwanti is excellent. She has a patent, try she has a look and I think she could use it as well. That's a good point. Of course,
you're not going a baby to Japan. May not be easy, but they want to do it. They could probably do it. And then that would also fit in with Senna Dana Jay because they used to be a tag team. Yeah right, heya but if you watch it, if you watch stardom, they're all about, you know, presentation or but all about factions. They're all about presentation. You watch a start a match, I mean it takes them ten minutes to get to the ring and do whatever they're going to
do, you know, because they have these big, long entrances. They that they throw streamers after they introduce them. Once they get in the ring, they throw streamers. They got to clean the streamers out. Then the next person comes out, they get introduc introduction, they throw streamers again, and then after everybody's introduced. They most of the times they the referee stands in the middle of the ring and the two women or the two teams that
are participating in a match, they post for photo op. I mean, it's just it's preposterous. And then the match starts, and it's weird because they kind of like circle each other for a minute. You know, they're like feeling each other out. You know, it's like seeing who's going to make the first move, and it's like you're you're anticipating something happening. At that boom, all hell breaks loose, and it's all hell breaks loose for
the rest of the match. It's non stop action. So it's very very interesting if you haven't watched Stardom matches, and you know, what's the storytelling is good. I don't understand a word of Japanese, and I understand exactly what's going on in Stardom because the storytelling is that good. Hm. I may have to look them up on YouTube. Yeah, they have. There's
there's several primers on YouTube. There's several matches, several there's hundreds of matches on Stardom's official website on YouTube. And you know what's interesting to me is that, of course Japan had Startom and they have Total Japan Pro Wrestling, and the two companies are completely different. Is that where Yoshi Pro Pro Total Japan is uh Yukosakazaki, uh Karshida, Riho maki Edo, uh Meu Yamashida
uh. You know you have that type where they wrestle in the you know, you see kind of way I guess is the way you put it. I'm not trying. I don't want to say something that takes away from what they're doing because they're fantastic. I really do enjoy them. But when you get to stardom, you're getting into a strong type strong style wrestling where they beat the ship out of each other. This is no other way to put
it. Yeah, you know, and it's constant. They're they're they're not doing you know, just running around screaming there, which is what Joshi's often do, you know. And and the other thing about stardom is that, you know, people have criticized Rio for being tiny and stuff like that, they wrestle within their means. I mean, not to the poy well again, as one of my favorite wrestlers, she's four foot eleven, but she
wrestles bigger, and more importantly, she's believable when she does it. So I think the hardest the hardest problem you're going to have with fans here is getting them used to that because they're not you know, a w w W. They they they have great women, some of them are very good wrestlers, but they're not like it's just like watching a men's match with women. So that kind of a new and it would be new for most people with the stardom type matches. So that could be a little bit of an issue
for a little while. But if it's good, it'll get it'll get over. It of course, you know, Carrie Saying and Neil Sky there started that they came from stardom, so so you know, AW will eventually get people from stardom, but I think it'll be more like a working relationship than a signee, you know. But yeah, it is what it is. Yeah, Yeah, I think it's really promising and I think it's very interesting
how it's almost like the war between ae W and WWE. It's like Stardom in AW joining up now WWE and Marigold, Like obviously there's a lot of opportunities for AW to really improve their roster by bringing dardom wrestlers in, and I think it's I think it's almost more interesting than the New Japan relationship in a lot of ways because aw's men's roster is like so so strong, and I think there's more opportunity to benefit from bringing in the stardom women than there
is on the New Japan men's side of things. Yeah, well, as women's roster is not anything that needs that right now either, that's really gotten better. Yeah, if the grow better, once Jamie Hater comes back, once some other people come back, it's gonna be stronger than ever. And I would argue it would be one of the one of the best in the world because they're going to have all these all these people coming back and joining
together and hopefully doing some things. You know. The weird thing about at MK is that so many a W women have wrestled for startup, excluding Karoshida, who I guess had a falling out with I don't know if she had a falling out with ROSSI, I don't know, but she was like, I'm not gonna wrestle for starters. But Tony Starves been there. JB.
Hater's been there. I believe Britt Baker went there once, Giada Parazzo, Mariah may Oh, yeah, I mean, you know so but a Carshido of course was t J p W. So is y Kaza Kazaki, so is Rijo, so as maki Edo. You know. So it's interesting, you know, I mean, it's I really am excited for the start up at a W matchup. I really am, because I think that's what it's gonna be. It's gonna it's not gonna be a partnership. It's gonna be a matchup. I think they're going to coexist out of necessity for stardom,
especially right now mm hmm. But anyway, you know, let's let's take a look at I don't want to touch on every match, but let's let's look at a few of the interesting points at UH at Dynamite this week. I mean, do you have a is there anything that stands out to you as like that one that you have to see on Dynamic because this is a want I don't want to say stacked, but it's a congested card. I mean there's like nine different segments already have for Dynamite this week home show.
Mm hmm, yeah, yeah, go ahead, k there's a few that need touched on, I think. But you know, I like the Will Osprey versus Claudio match. Who wouldn't like that one? That one looks like it's gonna be a barn burner. Yeah, that's that's the one I'm most looking for too. I know it's a go home show, so it may be more talk centric. We'll see, well he what I give? I hope it really. I'm not one sold on getting the payer view yet myself. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I may take your break andnot
get this one, but I'm we'll see how they sell it. So we've got we've got five matches, we got five this, we got five where you'll hear from going on in four match, So you know it's gonna be the only one that really isn't gonna that nobody's really gonna care about. It's gonna be the Jericho And Okay, I disagree. Just don't say that nobody's gonna nobody gonna watch it. You just say I don't, I don't have
any interest in it. But that's not That's not how I was looking at it because everybody, so it seems like everybody is so getting off on the point that they're getting tired of Jericho that if I had to pick one thing that's going to happen tomorrow, that's going to be the point where that's the piss break. It would be that that discussion, because yeah, I mean I personally, I personally like what Jericho is doing, so I don't really have a problem with it, like I think. So, we just saw
there was news that Jericho trademarked the Jericho Vortex. Yeah, you get stuck with Jericho, right, We've been living in the Jeracho fortext for the last six months. He had name and eventually, yeah, you can't him or hearing his music. I love it though, I'm sorry. H he's showing that he's leaning into is that he's he's self aware, uh and maybe just turned into an angle. I don't. I don't know where he becomes self aware and realize how how dummy looks sometimes. I don't know, but I'm
sorry. I'm a lifelong fan of guy. He's been an injury forever and he gets a lot of unwarranted eat on him that he really shouldn't. Yeah, but he's a great guy and he's been day one and he could have chose not to come here, but he he risked it and went with a w mm hmmm. Yeah. And I think Jericho's a lot smarter than people give them give him credit for. I think he knows that people are saying, Oh, Jericho just is latching himself onto these young guys, and that's
That's kind of what I'm thinking. Is his whole plan here is like Hook is a young guy, he's the youngest of guys, and now he's doing this on purpose because everyone's been saying these things about him, and he's going to kind of play with that. So I think I'm all of a sudden more intrigued by this because I know Jericho is the smart guy, and I think there's more to this, and I'm getting curious to see where this goes. I think Jericho has a secret I read it Burnham account because he sees
Do you think he posts negative Jericho things or positive? Knowing him negative just disturbed? Yes, well, I know. The last interview I saw him do was a Chris Van Elite interview and they talked about you know, aw and everything in his role, and that was what he said. You know, he said, I'm I'm here because I want to make sure that these guys get what I had didn't have necessarily. I want to make sure they're getting the right thing, you know, and like and he and he's not
lying. I mean, everything that he said in that interview was true. It was a lot of this had to do with the early success was because it was Jericho. Everybody knew who Jericho was when they first started. You know, nobody unless you were watching ROH or New Japan or you know that stuff like that. Nobody knew who the Bucks were mostly okay, not in anybody, but the like casual fans didn't know who the Bucks or Kenny Omega were and people knew who Cody Roads were, but you know, he was
talking about that. I, like I said, I don't have an issue with Jericho. I think what he does he needs to do and he's the the the best one for it because he has the I mean, by and large, he's the most experience in the company, been here forever. Yeah,
you know what I find kind of ironic. You know what I find kind of ironic is that, you know, you look on the internet, on Twitter, accent, on the subreddit and everything like that, and there's so many people say that they're tired of Jericho and they want them to go away, and so what do we do for the last ten minutes we talk
about for a Jericho. So that's my ironic part of the show. I think the match, the best match I think there's going to be Morne is going to be will offspring match Yes, well together, Yeah, yeah, I mean that's a given. You know. As far as the segment that I'm most looking forward to see, as far as physicality and danger and the chance for injury is Mercedes Monette walking out to the ring and seeing that she can make it all the way to drink with Paul without falling over her talk.
Wait a minute, she's not gonna have to go out away to the ring. You know, this is going to be one of those interviews that the Renee does at the entrance. Well that's smart, yeah, cup down the risk of energy injury. Just have her stand right there, walk out of tunnel and Renee's right there. Because that woman I have never in my life seen one person stumble over her tongue as much as Mercedes Mondet does.
They told me that she wasn't much of a talker, and guess what they were, right, I think, Yeah, it is weird to give someone that's not not the best talker so much opportunity to talk. Maybe she'll get better. I don't know. Well, and you know, coming from WWE, everything's written for you. She didn't have that issue there because they wrote it, she read it, that was it. But AB's a whole another word, won't They hired a writer specifically for Mercedes Moneta, but yeah's personal
writer. So that's not an excuse. Okay, I thought she was doing something else. I didn't know they had it for the writer and and and that's kind of the problem. It's like it all does feel very written, very memorized. It's not like off the cuff. Yeah, like she does her sit down interviews, it feels like she's memorized things and she's not. I think she's an awesome wrestler. I like she's probably my was my favorite
wrestler way back in the day when she started an n XT. But yeah, she's not a great actress like Mariyah May is a great actress in Mercedes No No, I'm Home. I'm hoping go ahead. I hope him can step it up when she comes back to the ring, and hopefully she hasn't
lost too much. I saw this weird sweet that someone asked her when she's going to be in her first match, and she was saying double or nothing, so right, and you know I was, you know, part of me wish if they would have waited to bring her back to where she could pop into the ring quicker, because it feels kind of stale. It feels kind of seeing punkish the way they're bringing her back and having her off a
whole lot and not have any action at all. So hopefully she starts at least more than one kick and booms's out type of thanks he needs a little more action than what he did in Yeah. A few podcasts ago, MK, I said that I had never seen Mercedes Bonet wrestle live before. I mean I have, you know, went back and watched a few of her matches and now she's in AW and I aw and I've still not seen her
wressell live before. You know. It's just like, Okay, at what point are we going to actually see Mercedes Bonnet in the ring in a wrestling match? Yeah, I agree, and I agree with you. Maybe she's not ready, but they could have waited to bring her back. I mean, I just brought it Osprey. They just potted at Ocana. They didn't need a third at that point. No, And I'm kind of wondering if
there is more to it than what we're being told. Although I mean, like I said before, you know, and that's I think it was the same podcast you're talking about. She's coming back from a serious injury. She was told she's never gonna wrestle again at one point in time, So that could be her psyche that's keeping her out of the ring. Yeah, I mean, I I know that from I played basketball my entire life, and I've broken an ankor twisted an ankle up so many times, and that's that.
One of the first thoughts you have when you start to come back from that is is it gonna collapse on me again? Am I gonna have? You know? And I don't know. I we'll see what happens. But she does need an advocate. I wonder if Paul Hayman's available. Oh no, smart oh oh yeah, yeah, he had to. He had to. His people were all going. Now you know, he's still he's on the Ring of Honor. He's still got Tony and Josh Woods. Okay, his woman's his women's divisions. He needs some women. You can. I
argue with Stokely half the way everything from them. Just put Mercedes with Prince Don on it could come down the ramp halfway and do a stupid dance off. I don't know what is doing, and I don't know what the hell Mercedes is doing either, because except he does a Russell God, I'm like, yeah, I love, I love I think, yeah, I can see it. He's more like the Alex, the wonder King they still have. We don't talk about Alex like that, not that Alex Alex Alex.
I know it's kind of like you get that. Uh oh boy, so you know we I mean there are some there are some interesting matches here. I mean you've got the Elite against you know, pack and and uh Penta and Daniel Garcia. It looks like Julia Hert's good to go at her match against that cale. I love that. Tony Giovanni said, we're having the TBS champion against the TNT Championship champion on Dynamite. We've never had that before.
How about that. I'm like he realized that they're not going to fight each other, right, yeah, I mean like Copeland would kill Hart, you know, just like and he's done. Yeah, yeah, I could see some interaction. Well I'm glad you brought that up because you know, I I even posted this on the subredd and I'm like, look, Copeland wear a cup or something because she did. I have never seen a human being get taken out. How many blow blows? Is that bad? Taken?
Since he's been at aw his balls have got to be ruptured by like did he ever play when he was a kid, you know? Yeah? Yeah, that whole feud was kind of based around each other and the balls. Yeah, that whole feud was nuts. How did how did he win the match against He took little spike and put it in the little bags, you know. Just yeah, it's like, I mean, I have never seen a more homophobic matches in the world than that. It was like,
it was like just nuts nuts, It didn't matter. You know. You could add, you know, Chris and Cage's daughter come out and she would have given Adam Copeland a nutshot. It was just it was nutshot after nutshot. I'm like, after you know, after the thirtieth or fortieth nut shot. I'm not ragging, but I wouldn't fall for it the thirty first time. Yeah, yeah, I'm thinking second third, I'm done. Yeah. As soon as I saw somebody pick out, especially since he didn't get a
lot of the nutshots he got wasn't with a hand or a foot. It was with a hockey stick, you know this that or the room or you know whatever. He just as soon as I saw somebody holding something that they shouldn't be holding to me like I've just been covered up, I get in a fetal position, tuck my thumb and say you're not going to get these
things this time. Yeah, the jewels are protected. I don't know so Adam Copeland, if anybody in Adam Copeland's camp is listening to this podcast, if they take nothing else away from it, protect the nutsack Yeah, especially tomorrow night. Yes, j is going to go right at the same time. Yeah, going to miss him. Yeah, Julia Hard is going to at least attempt to kick Adam Copland in the nuts. There's no way around it. Yeah. And then we got Ran May and Dianna Prozzo too.
I mean, no nuts. I think I think. I think a nuts going to show up in that one. You think so, I think so. I can't see Tony not being there, Okay, Yeah, I feel like I don't know has what was there a nutshot in a Deanna Parozzo match recently? I feel like I vaguely remember that, but maybe I misremembering. Anyways, I don't know. I don't think. Yeah, this match is interesting because, yeah, thunder Rosa seems to be with Deanna Parozzo. Tony
Storm will probably be on commentary Mina. Sure Kawa could come out afterwards or some other stardum wrestler. Yeah, I can see a Zoomi coming out or helping and stuff, and that may be something. Yeah, even more down the line as well as Zoomy helping her. I don't know how long she's staying over or anything, so m hmm. They may they may be back in Japan by now anyway, but I'll be back. Yeah. Yeah. How impressed were you with the Zumi though? I mean I loved it.
I watched it. I mean, she's twenty one years old and she's able to do that. But keep in mind, she was also a Windness City riot. She fought for the WGP Strong Women's Championship Saturday night, then came and fought for the a W Women's World champion Chip on Saturday night. Friday night she did for the IWP. Yeah, she's a busy week. Yeah. People were calling that match with stephik Cure at Windy City like they were saying, that's the match of the night from then. So she's really making
a name for herself. It was really good. Yeah, So I didn't see it, but I do want to see it because I'm just impressed, you know, But again, I just I really want to see NAT's a ploy at aw I think she would go over. I don't think she would. She's she I don't know what she who's she reminds me of But I actually I actually usually don't watch Collision, but I went on my Fight TV
and I went on Collisions just to see that match. And it was a good match, good back and forth match, and Tony Storm uh put her over pretty well. So I think she could be used definitely in the in the future. Yeah, for sure. Okay, then, well, I'm gonna wrap this up for tonight because tomorrow night on All We Talk, we're going to do a full preview of of Dynasty. I'm hoping that they that they announced maybe a couple more matches, you know, for Dynasty, including
Zero Hour tomorrow night. I don't think they have any Zero hour matches yet, do they? No, they didn't announce that these zero hours matches until real late on the last paper view either has the has the just has Orange Casty and Britt had been added to that yet? I don't think so. But that's a shoe I think that's a shoe in. Yeah, I think that's Zero hour match. I would like to see that on the main card because that's that's a really interesting match to me, wondering well making that the
main advent yeah Dark of the Yeah Show. Yeah, Yeah, I mean, I mean, I'm interested to see what comes up out of this tomorrow because there's a lot of segments that canna have a lot of really good story coming out. We got John Moxley Swerve coming out, we got some O Joe coming out. You know. It's there's gonna be a lot of talking tomorrow night, a lot of story, and it looks like some pretty darn decent matches, especially that t n T versus TBS championship match. That's gonna
be awesome. Oh Julie, I'd like to see her with two belts I don't care, you know, and wrestling. I'm excited for that. It's fun. Yeah, I like to see the precursor to Dynasty with Ocada facing off against Pack for at least a little bit tomorrow night to see what happens. You know. So it's gonna be a I'm interested in Kylo Riley versus Roddick Strong. I never figure I would be interested in erotic Shawn mat but you like A and I like the way those two are going at it.
And but we'll see who wins that one. But I like it seems like every man to me, and I like the way he works and this would be a good few for him coming back as well. Okay, well, well you will definitely talk about that tomorrow night in our Dynasty preview because hopefully there's even more story that's brought out about that Tomorrow night. I have a feeling we'll be hearing some more from Roddy Strong and h and Kyle O'Reilly.
If not tomorrow night, definitely on on Friday or Saturday. Yeah. I mean, it's just I just don't see why, how how they can get by it, because it is an interesting story, despite the fact that who's in it, you know, So you were gonna say something that m oh no, I was gonna say. I like Kyle O'Reilly and I don't like Roderick Strong, So I'm interested to see what's gonna happen there with that. Yeah, and oh, if you all don't mind, I would like to
maybe wish my my daughter a happy birthday. Oh what's her name? Her name is Eve? Well, happy birthday, Eve, everybody happy birthday at the same time. Happy birthday Eve. Who did her? Who did you name her after? She's just named Eve like she just is her. Her sister also has three letters in her name, so it went well together. So her sister's name is Bob. Yeah, her sister Bob. And even she's she's she's young and she's come in too wrestling with the beginning of a
W and has quickly become a huge wrestling fan. So, well, how old is Eve? She's twenty two. That is not young. That's younger than most older than most of the wrestlers on the stardom roster. Eve, even you know you made me think that he was like, you know, eight seven or something like that. Say something you she's twenty two years old, so she's like, ave you know your your mom named you after the first woman. I mean she she went all the way back through all the
names in the history and settled on the first. Thank you guys, you are awesome. Well, Eve is awesome because you've told me about even how much he loves a W And if you love aw your a wsome it's better when you write it down. When for my next joke, I'm going to fark the ABC's there you go. Now that was be grunting, dude,
Nothing was happening. But anyway, we're going to wrap this up. I'm looking forward tomorrow night because we're probably not going to talk about Dynasty, I mean Dynamite too much unless it relates to Dynasty, because we do want to do a preview of Dynasty, So be prepared for that. Get your thoughts together for what you think is going to happen at Dynasty. Uh for myself, calson a Ka. That's a Poi fan, Bye boy. I guess
said goodbye in a different language. That this is Alex saying goodbye as well, Bye boy. That's how. That's why when that's a boy says goodbye. Anytime she's doing a promo, when she just doesn't leave, she always has to say by Poi, which makes no sense, And all the other wrestlers just kind of look at her with this dumb stricken look on her face, like what the hell is we're looking at her, We're looking at her microphone. Yeah yeah, so yeah, So so that's it for tonight,
Bye boy, and uh, we'll see you guys tomorrow. Night night
