Ep 054: Bills, Bills, Bills: What's going on in Canada and Ohio?

Following on from yesterday's Brazil focus, we're heading approximately 5,000 miles north today with Jessica Welman in the drivers seat, joined by Nick Ware of Canadian Gaming Business and Charlie Horner of SBC Americas to discuss two new bills in Canada, with the Senate to discuss national gambling advertising guidelines as well as a First Nations bill that would grant exclusive authority to license, conduct and manage gaming operations on reserves.

Additionally, Ohio passed their budget, which included a tax rate doubled from 10% to 20%, making it one of the most expensive states to operate in. What impact will this have, on both the biggest and smallest operators?
