To start 2023, we invited Dave Sims, the TV voice of the Seattle Mariners, on the show to talk about being one of the very few Black PxP commentators in the history of Major League Baseball. He shares his story as a young kid in Philly, his migration to New York, and the winding road that landed him a prominent job in the PNW. Storytelling, our love for the art of broadcasting, and the new pathway for Black sportscasters fill our 53-minute conversation. What a way to start 2023.
