I see Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's up besides tea? You're listening to The Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today I'm in a good mood. This is something I tell the people mostly over thirty, you know, late twenties, to check that game. I say, if you don't look back at your younger self and say you used to be stupid, you're probably still stupid. I do lectures, and
I talk to kids, I talk to college people. I talked to universities in prisons. And one thing I always do, and I'll do this with you people right now that are listening, think back to when you were seventeen, sixteen years old, even eighteen, and tell me what percentage of the things that you thought are still correct today. How many of the ideas and beliefs you had at sixteen seventeen were correct now that you're thirty, probably about ninety percent of the things you thought at that age or
incorrect or ninety nine percent. I know, I was basically fucking insane putting it together with what I know now as an adult. So if you don't look back at yourself and realize you were doing stupid shit, then you probably are still doing the same stupid shit at this age, and hopefully you'll figure it out that life is a little different than you perceived it as a young age. It's like you will continuously evolve and progress intellectually as
you get older. Like how many of you said, damn, man, if I knew that when I was in high school. Man if I knew that when I was in college, if I knew that last year, I wouldn't have made this mistake. We're in a state of perpetual growth. So that's why it always pays. If you can get a chance to talk to somebody a little bit older than you, pay a fucking a tension because they might be able to save you from some of the potholes and the mistakes they made. I say, dumb people learn from experience.
Intelligent people learn from other people's experiences. So pay attention. Don't say, oh, it won't happen to me. Pay attention. If you don't look back at your younger self and say I used to be stupid, you're probably still stupid. This has been another Ice Cole fact from me Ice Tea listening again tomorrow when I dropped some wisdom on your ass till then, Stay safe, stay smart, and stay looking for people who would challenge you and your hustle.
