do them, they're not gonna get done. Period. As you start to move up, you want to delegate a lot of things, and like I said in one of my other Daily Games, do what you know how to do and delegate the rest. But there are certain things you are personally gonna have to do and you have to be willing to do them. There is no way I can go to the and get in shape for you, even in certain things. I'll tell you a story. One time they wanted me to do jury duty and I
was on my bullshit. I didn't want to go. I'm Jerry duty. Come on, man, I want to do Jerry duty. I'm talking to my people. I'm talking to the people that got to work for me. I didn't want to do jury duty. So I'm on my bullshit, like, come on, man, I pay you all a lot of money, man, can't you get me out of Jerry duty? And one of the ladies that were for me said, Oprah had to do jury duty. And I was like, okay, so what time do I show up? Like, but yeah, Oprah can't
get out of Jerry duty. My punk ass definitely is going to have to pull jury duty. So I went in there and I had to show up, and I did it. Eventually, they determined that I wasn't the right person for jury duties, maybe because I made a record called cop Killer. But I had to show up personally. And there's some things you have to do. You have to go to the doctor yourself, you got to go to the dentist yourself. And some things you want done
in life, they need you to do it. I'm working on an animated series with my partner, and he wrote the first script and so they came in and they said, well, we want writers, and I said, no, he has to write it because this is his idea and no one else can do it. We might be able to get some people to come in and help with the animation, do backgrounds and things like that. But this is his brain, this is his baby. We have to have him in control of it. Nobody can write my lyrics. I never
use a ghost writer. I don't work like that. It has to be done by me. So in your life, realize the things that need your personal attention. Certain things won't get done if you don't do them. There's an old saying is if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself. It's old saying for a reason, because a lot of things without your own person attention simply will not get done correct. So be prepared to do that or suffer the consequences of a fuck up.
