The funny thing about getting older, Your eyesight gets weaker, but your ability to see through people's bullshit gets better.
As you get older, your bullshit detector goes up, up, up up, Why because you've been bullshit so many times and you might have fail for it, but most of us have decided we're not going to be a fool with a prior not a prior conviction of being a fool. So once somebody got you, it's not going to happen again. And you learn for the telltale signs of bullshitters. You listen to them, you know ways to pull them out, catch them. I mean, I love, I got all kinds
of ways I do it. I mean people will sit up to me and go, oh, well, look, you know this deal we do. We guarantee you'll make a million dollars this year. Off this deal. We guarantee, just sign right here, and we're going to make a million dollars.
I'm like, well that's the case.
Give me two hundred and fifty thousand dollars right now on signature, and make that recoupable. Recoupable means that million you say you're going to give me that first two hundred and fifty thousand, I won't get. You can recoup it, but give it to me right now since it's guaranteed. And then you watch the bullshitter. They start speaking different languages. They're about why that was the money? You just guaranteed it though you guaranteed it against what if it doesn't happen?
Are you guaranteed it against two million? So bullshitters are out there and they hate to get their cards plucked. And you know, I say, whenever I'm in a business meeting and somebody says it's going to be easy, I walk out of the deal because I've yet to find an easy way to get paid. Even when I was out robbing and stealing, it was not easy. So I want to hear, yeah, this is gonna take a little work, but we put the work in, we can make this happen.
Don't give me any false promises. Bullshitters hate it when they come across people that are seasoned in the game. One of the things to save Coco as she was working by being married to me. People knew they couldn't bullshit her because they know She's going to bring this information back to me.
And I'm gonna say, nah, nah, They're full of shit.
So as you get older, your true eyesight fucks up, but your ability to see through people get stronger and stronger only because you've had enough time life to run past these people earlier in life. And then you say, here they come again, and I know where this is gonna end up.
