I see Daily Game as a production of iHeartRadio. What's up besides tea? You're listening to The Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today, I'm gonna drop some knowledge from one of my long time co stars, Marishka Hargott, and trust me, I love Marishka dearly. Me and Marishka have been working on the same show for twenty four years, and sometimes I talk
to and I say, think about it. This is longer than you are in elementary school, high school, and college all put together. And imagine being in the same class with one person all those years. Me and Marishka worked five days a week for twenty four years. So trust me, we've become very very close friends. Marishka said, sometimes things in life happen that allow us to understand our priorities
very clearly. Ultimately, you can see those as gifts. What she's saying is sometimes even negative things happen, but they help us to adjust our perspective. One of my friends passed, and the minister says that death is a gift to the living because a lot of y'all sitting out there don't even realize you're alive. You're not even taking advantage of life. And sometimes when someone passes, it wakes us up, say, hey,
I'm alive. You know, I still have chances to do some great things with my family and friends, and we just came out of COVID. Being quarantine made me sit in the house and realize what was really valuable. You can't drive your cars, you can't wear your clothes. What really is valuable. It really is your family, It's really where you live. A lot of people looked around their house and it's like I could do a little home improvement here. You know, this is actually where I live.
You know. So even though being quarantine was a negative, it made me personally really appreciate life and understand how fragile life is. I lost quite a few people to COVID and realize that we have to live every day to the fullest. So, as Mariska says, a lot of times things will happen that make us really check our priorities, what is really important in my life? And then you turn around and you say, well, even though that was a negative incident, that was a gift. That was a
moment where I got a clear understanding about life. So yes, sometimes a negative thing will help you understand your priorities in life and ultimately, as Mariska says, you can see those as gifts. This has been another Ice Cole fact from me Ice Tea. Listening again tomorrow when I dropped some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, and say no, and that circumstances can change your priorities
for the better. I Sees Daily Game is a production of iHeartRadio, Final Level Entertainment and Auditing, an Asylum Entertainment company. The show's executive producer is Noel Brown.
