I's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's up to SIS Team? You're listening to The Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote is coming from Tom Peters, an expert in business management practices and the author of the best selling business book of all time, in Search of Excellence. Tom says, true leaders don't create more followers, they create more leaders.

I think one of the greatest things I've ever accomplished is connecting with a lot of youngsters. When I had the rhyme syndicate. They went off to be stars, you know, whether it's somebody like Mugs who ended up being the backbone to Cypress Hill or dub c or all these different cats that I was able to meet at an early age. Coolio rest in Peace, and they left and

went off to become giants in the industry. When I deal with people, I'm not dealing with them to work for me, or to be under me, or to be a follower. I just want to inspire them so they can go off and outdo me, do something better than me, greater than me. You know, there used to be a commercial all the old people out there, the people my age will know about the great poopon where the rolls pulled up next to the other said do you have any grey poupon? And they threw them some mustard. That's

all I want at the end of the day. You know, you make a success, you so say hey, Ice, here some great poopon. Man, I'm throwing this at you. Man, We're doing good. And the people who I've been able to aspire always have given back simply just by saying, hey, man, you know Ice gave me this game. So people that are intrigued by some of the lessons I try to teach, I don't want you to become a follower of me. I want you to become a leader. I want you

to take the game and you lead somebody. You help them. You know, whether it's just taking these ice cold facts and spreading them to some people that need to hear it, that makes you the leader, not me. I totally agree with Tom Peters. True leaders don't create more followers, they create more leaders. If anybody that I'm working with doesn't become a leader, I'm upset. I want them to go off and become bosses, you know. So that's the objective.

If you're a leader, you want to create more generals. You want to create people that can take what you give them and take it to the next level. This has been another ice cold fact from me ice tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass. Until then, stay safe, stay smart, and say knowing that if you find out who you thought was a leader, it's really trying to bring you down, steal your ideas. You don't have a leader, you have an asshole. I
