If asked at a different time, I might actually do it. Timing is everything. Now, this is a good one, and this is why people have learned to talk to my wife and not talk to me, because she knows the right time to ask me a question. A very, very very recent example of this was I was on SVU filming on a Thursday night. I get a call for my manager. They want you to do something on Friday night. No. I was tired. I've been working all week. I wasn't
in the mood to work on a Friday night. I said no. He said, it's Dave Chappelle and it's for Saturday Night Live. I'm like, what, hell, yeah, I want to do it. Dave Chappelle, of course, can get me to do something on a Friday night and the Saturday Night Live skit was crazy, but my initial response was no. That's how I was feeling now in my life. When I'm in a negative situation, I'm gonna say no to everything. It could be a phone call for big money. I'm
just not into it. I'm the guy that used to back in the days when we had answer machines, come home and answer machine with say, twenty calls, i would hit the lead all because I'm not in the mood to take in anything new. Now that I got married, my friends know if they want something, tell Coco. Coco will find the right time when I'm in the right mood for a yes, wrong mood, no, right mood. Yes. I believe most people work in the same realm of the energy that's around him when the question is asked
will directly correlate with the answer. When we're in a good mood, we're more likely to say yes. When a bad mood, mostly everything is going to be no. So it's good to have somebody that knows the temperature of the person that they're asking that question to You could be canking to your boss. You could be wanting to ask your boss for a raise, and maybe his secretary'll say not right now. He just went through something. He's
