I sees Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up besides tea? You're listening to The Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote is something I always keep in mind. More often than not, you can tell people who've truly went through the struggle by how they treat people that are
currently going through the struggle. He said that again, more often than not, you can tell people who truly went through the struggle about how they treat people who are currently going through the struggle. One of the things about me people say, well, Ice, who can you get along with? I go, I can get along with people who have soul. To me, soul is you've been through something. Some people are born with a silver spoon. They ain't been through shit.
Doesn't mean they can't care, but some of them don't because they never had to struggle. Some people that have never had to struggle are some of the greatest and biggest philanthropists in the world because they feel maybe a guilt of their success and the things that they've gotten for free. But a lot of people that have never been through it don't have any compassion for it, and they talked down on it. You know, when I see somebody sitting on the street homeless, I know how close
I came to being in that position. You know, I never slept on the street, but I definitely slept in my car, and I slept over people's houses, and I slept in motels, you know, when I didn't have a permanent residence, and I struggle. So I can never look at anybody down because that same person I see on the curve could be my boss in ten years. This is how the game is. Some people start below you, end up above you, and vice versa. You might have
been below somebody, now you're above them. The deck of cards is continuously shovel But I can look at somebody and how they treat other people and tell if they've been there. I think Muhammad Ali said, I don't care how you treat the manager at the restaurant. I'm more concerned with how you treat the waiter. That's the test
of your true character. So watch your friends and watch how they treat people who they may think are below them, and if they shit on those people, they are low, disrespectful, no character individuals, you know, and the fuck up thing is a lot of people this does. This is not a blanket statement because a lot of people who were fucked up get in a better position and then still shit on people that were just like them a few years ago. And that's asshole character too. So you know,
watch how people treat people. It's a great judge of their personal character. This has been another Ice Cole fact from me ice Tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass Till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay focused.
