I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up SiZ Team. You're listening to. The Daily Game a compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote is something I keep in mind to stay motivated, and it comes from Michael Francis, a former mobster who is the CAPO of the Colombo crime family and son

of the former underboss Sonny Francis. He told me, the path you follow in life is dictated by who you're accountable to. It basically means that the direction you're going to go in life will be dictated by who you're listening to, or who you feel you have to impress, or who you're accountable to. Example, if you're accountable to your parents and they have the power over you, and you're really trying to impress them, you're going to go

in the direction that they want you to go. If you've got bad, fucked up friends but you look up to them, you're going to follow that path into being a fucked up person. If you're like Michael and you're in a mob and you're accountable to gangsters, then that's the path you're going to take because you're trying to impress them, and those are the people that you have to follow their instructions. Those, those are the people that

are in charge. Now try this one. If you're only accountable to yourself, then you now start to do what you want to do. If you're accountable to God, then you're going to follow the instructions that you feel God has given you. I'm accountable to myself, so my decisions are only based on what I want to do. I'm not accountable to anybody else. When I work on Law and Order, I'm accountable to Dick Wolf in that job, and I follow their instructions, So that path is pretty

much laid out when I'm on that show. But in life, I'm only accountable to myself and therefore I set my own goals. I don't care what anybody else has to say. I'm doing what the fuck I want to do. So the question is who are you accountable to? Are you living your life for your family? Who do you feel you're accountable to. If it's a good person, then maybe you're on a good path. But if if it's a negative person or negative people, that's the path you're on.

And I've been on the negative path before in my life. Or I was trying to impress other criminals and gangsters and kids in the streets, and that path was going to take me nowhere. Now I'm following my own path. Hopefully you'll find your own path. This has been another ice cold fact from me iced tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass. Till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing exactly who you

are accountable to. Ices Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio, Final Level Entertainment and Oddity, an Asylum entertainment company. The show's executive producer is Noel Brown.
