I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's up to sizes See you're listening to the Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and help me through the game of life. Today's quote is something I keep in mind to stay motivated. The most difficult thing for people to understand is how cold the higher levels of the game become. The higher you climb the mountain, the colder it gets.
When you start dealing in the game, and you start moving up, and you start getting into bigger business and bigger numbers. It's more difficult to get it. When you're talking about somebody and you just want to get one hundred dollars, they might just pull in their pocket and reach in there and give it. I talk to people every day, Oh, I'm trying to get this movie made. You're trying to get a movie made, so you're basically asking somebody to give you ten twenty million dollars, even
if it's a small movie. You want someone to hand over a million dollars. People just don't hand over a million dollars. I always tell people, I'm like, you want people to give you money. If you had a million dollars, would you put it into this? Would you not buy a house, not buy a car, not do anything other than invest in your own project? Would you spend every single dime you had on it? Do you believe in
it that much? You probably don't. In an independent business, a lot of cats can't succeed because they're not willing to take the money they make and reinvest in themselves. So now you move up the mountain and now you're trying to do bigger things. You want someone to give you twenty million dollars or one hundred million dollars. Oh, it gets cold, it gets hard, and they are dead serious. One thing you have to learn about as far as
business goes, nobody's doing any favors. Everyone is looking for a profit. When I deal with people in business and they come to me, first thing I ask them is this charity or is this business? And they go what? I go? Do you just need a handout? You're asking me to help you? Do you need a handout? Or is this is business? Well? What's the difference a handout? I might just help you. I'm capable of charity. I
might just give you some money, good luck. If it's business, I'm going to expect a return, and don't get mad at me when I respect the return because this is business. Wow, that's cold. The higher you climb up the mountain, the colder it gets. The more you're asking for, the colder I'm going to be. I might want collateral, people might want all types of contracts signed. You trying to get that bag. They might have you sign off your next
to ken. This is big business. So the theory that it gets easier as you move up the mountain, No, it gets colder. I'm on television shows. People get fired, things happen. People are like, wow, why did that have to happen. I'm like, this is a cold game. This is how the business runs. So just be aware of that. You know, when you're down on the ground level and you're just doing small things, it may not be that bloodthirsty. But the higher you go and the more money that's involved,
shit gets cutthroat. This has been another ice cold fact from me iceed tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that it's cold on the top, but it's worth it ice sees Daily Game.
