my era hip hop. I was fortunate to be able to tour with them many many times going around the world. Chuck has a great quote about me where he says, iced Tea is the only person that does things that totally jeopardizes his career to stay awake. So Chuck knows me better than anybody. We are very very close as brothers that try to help change the world. Spread the knowledge and anything he says, please pay attention to it. Chuck says, being positive it's like going up a mountain.
Being negative, it's like sliding down a hill. A lot of times people want to take the easy way out because it's basically what they've understood throughout their entire lies. Notice if you're giving up because it's what you know how to do. Success is harder because it's worth it. You see a lot of times in life we start taking the easy way out. You start hanging around people that are always into shortcuts. Oh, this is an easier way. This is an easier way. But success requires work and
it's gonna be harder. So you gotta be willing to go up that hill or climb up that mountain to get there. There are no shortcuts. So if you're familiar with taking shortcuts, success might be something that is foreign to you because you've never really put in the work. When you start to quit, think is this what I'm used to doing? Is this something I'm really used to doing. I'm used to quitting, and maybe it's time to restructure
your life so you start taking the hard route. One thing I do in my life is always I say in my brain, I say, stop being lazy. You know, I'm supposed to do my fifty hundred push ups a day and I look at the floor and I'm like, nah, But I say, stop being lazy. If you have something that you can trigger in your head that keeps letting you know, I gotta stop taking the easy way out. You're gonna move closer and closer to success, and you'll
be proud of it because it's worth it. The key is you have to be willing to stay in the game. And if your life has always been about quitting, then you can't get mad.
