we're all average. You know, you work to become great, You work to get better. You don't start out in the martial arts as some black belt. You work so you start off as an average man, but you have a focus that can't be matched. When I first started making music, I was working with Henry Rollins, and Henry Rollins taught me it's not about being mad at everything. It's about being really mad at the right shit. So if you think of your energy as light, if you
focus it across a field, everything is dimly lit. But if you aim at one target and you create a laser, that's where your true power is. So you have to have laser like focus to achieve greatness. As a warrior as a person, as a businessman, you have to figure out what it is you're trying to do and don't think about anything else, focused strictly on that. Now, that's hard to do when you have family and you have friends, but I'm talking about when you're in your zone and
your work zone, everything else is blocked out. I've earlier spoke about worrying about other people and what they're doing that has nothing to do with what you're trying to do. So you have to have a laser like focus on the objective. I was just talking to one of my producers and we said that women have the ability to multitask.
Men are basically one track mind. That's why if your husband is watching the football game and you distract me's like, aha, no, don't talk because he is so focused on that fucking game. He is not thinking about anything. No bills, no this, no that, no this Now. Why do people say why do guys say, oh, while I'm watching a game is a stress reliever because it requires so much focus for that moment, can't think about any of my other problems.
That's why video games work for me. I have to worry about this fucking dinosaur or this fucking monster that is trying to kill me. I cannot think about my life, so it removes the other things. So these things require laser like focus. Women, y'all can laser focus on ten fifteen things at a time. I don't know if it's totally as strong, because I could be watching a movie with Coco and we're watching the exact same movie and she's asking me what the fuck is going on? It's like,
why are you thinking about the laundry? Why are you thinking about Chanelle's school? Tomorrow? Watch this goddamn movie with me. She can't do it. She's a woman. I understand it. She's thinking about other things that I need to help keep me alive. So I love her. But Bruce Lee says, a successful warrior, let's just change it into a person is an average person with laser like focus, meaning that focus is what's required to be successful in all aspects
