Today's quota's advice I give a lot of people, especially when I see them want to give up their hustle and take the easy way out. One day you'll tell your story of how you overcame what you went through,
and it'll be someone else's survival. God. A lot of times when people want to talk to you, whether you run a business, or you're successful in sports, or your acting or you do music, they don't so much want to hear the good stories. They want to hear the obstacles. Those obstacles might align with some of the obstacles they're dealing with. So people that tell all the great things about their life, all the good things that happened, you're
not really giving anybody any help. But when you tell people how you survived during some of your struggles, that's when you're actually giving them a survival gud. You're giving them a way to say, oh wow, that's happening to me. I'm going through this right now. So just know that when you're about to tap out and you don't, and you continue onward and you make it to that place you want to make it, that story about the day you were about to tap out is important to the
next person. That's going to be their survival God, that's going to be their moment when they had to regroup. I remember in my life, I had a moment where my records weren't selling. I was selling half a million records ship and half a million records, and then at one point the record sales just dropped tremendously, and I was hurt a little bit, like what's going on? But it just took me a minute to realize, like, yo, the game is changing. Everybody else that I look up
to aren't selling records like they used to. And I had to recalibrate my hustle and say, okay, well right now, let me get over here in this movie game. This movie game is working for me right now, let me do this till I can really figure out what's going on in the music business. And jumped off into the movie thing, refired up body count, and got back into business The thing of it is that that story might ring true to what's going on in someone else's life,
and that might inspire them to continue on. AKA A survival Guy. This has been another ice colde fact from me iced Tea.
