I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up be Size Team. You're listening to The Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Ay, today's quote is something I keep in mind to stay focused and keep me motivated. People will be side by side with you and then they'll stop for whatever reason. Years later they'll get back with you.

But you've now advanced multiple levels, and possibly they haven't, and they'll say you've changed. Yes, you have. Things about you will change as you grow. You basically might become a little more sophisticated. You learn more about different things. If for some reason somebody hasn't advanced at the same level as you, you will seem to different to them. There's nothing wrong with that. Now you can explain to him like, hey, I've been introduced to a lot of things.

You still my friend. Let's put it like this. I got a friend I just wrote a book with Thain't Spike. He did twenty six years in prison when he went in. I was just starting out rapping when he came back on ice tea been on television twenty four years, Solid sold tons of records. I've changed, but he accepts it, and he's like ice, you took off, man, and now I'm trying to help him catch up. Ain't no hate

because he accepts it. He's not saying it like you've changed into a different person, because I'm still the same guy. But things about me and the way I behave and the way I need my friends to behave around me have changed. Some of your friends will get that. Others will take offense to it. Oh, you don't hang out like you used to now I don't. I'm married now, I got a family. We all change, and those that can't embrace your evolution, including yourself you have to embrace

your own evolution, will have a problem with that. You know, you can't live for them. You have to live for yourself. And if they appreciate who you are now, that's cool. Let's hope that as you have evolved, you haven't become an asshole. That's possible too. You can only be you, and hey, one of your friends might check you. Let's say that happens. You have changed, but you've changed for

the worst, you turn into an asshole. You might need one of your friends and say hey, yo yo, this ain't you come back to earth and help keep you grounded. This is really an interesting angle. Someone who's been with you, they started with you, now they see you later in life. The main thing is that we all evolve, we all change, and no one says the same. Like jay Z said, once you know I didn't hustle, this's hard to stay the same. We're all trying to advance our lives and

do better. This has been another ice code fact from me iced Tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that some haters are just gonna drop off because they can't keep up with you.
