I Sy's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up, Sized Team, You're listening to The Daily Game the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote comes from legendary music producer Rick Rubin. Rick Rubin is something else as far as a producer. He's the pinnacle of being a producer. He's produced everybody from early hip hop L COOLJ, Beastie Boys to speed metal

Slayer to Red Hot Chili Peppers. I was honored to work with Rick Rubin. I did a duet with Slayer and we did some punk rock exploited covers on the Judgment Nights soundtrack. So Rick, pretty much what he says is law, and he's always been in music, never anything else, and just that producer that is going to get the best out of you. And I love a lot of Rick's quotes, but this is a great one. Demonstrate it,

don't explain it. This can go for everything, This can go for everything, this can go for love in the streets. We say, show and prove, That's what we say, Show and prove. Don't tell me you my man, show me you my boy, and prove it. Don't tell me you love me, Show it and prove it. Rick just says it a different way. Demonstrate it, don't explain it. You know, it's so easy to tell somebody, Oh, I got your back, I'm with you, I'm there forever that. Yeah, well demonstrate that.

Talk is cheap. And if you're a musician, don't tell me how you're going to do the track. Don't don't talk about it, don't explain do it. Go to the studio do it. I'll understand the demonstration. You know. If I'm an actor, I can tell you all about acting theory and this is how it should be. Why don't you just go up and get in front of cameraon do it. Stop explaining things to people. Do it. There's so many people out here in life that can explain

you how they're going to make a million dollars. Oh, we're going to do this, we're gonna do that, We're gonna do this, we're gonna do that. I would much rather see the bank recy I would much rather show you. Show me the bank receipt that you got ten twenty million dollars in the bank. Now you got my attention versus your theory on how it's gonna get done. Like I always tell people, you know the difference between potential and actual. An actual person can do it, demonstrate it.

A potential person loves to explain things, and this is my theory and this is how it's gonna go now. Man, Rick said it right, Man, Stop talking so fucking much. Demonstrate it, don't explain it, just do it, and then people will understand that you know what the fuck you're talking about. This has been another Ice Cold fact from me. Iced team. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing. The best way to prove something is to

show them. Show improve ICE's Daily Game. It is a production of iHeartRadio, Final Level Entertainment and Oddity, an Asylum entertainment company. The show's executive producer is Noel Brown.
