I's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's UF Decise Team You're listening to. The Daily Game a compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote is coming to you from Lao Zu, whose name translates to Old Master. Lao Zu was a sixth century Chinese philosopher who emphasized the importance of non action

resistance to live an elevated life. Lao said, he who conquers others is strong, He who conquers himself is mighty. The deepest control is self control, you know, overpowering somebody else, outsmartan somebody else. Yeah, you might be considered mighty if you can conquer people's minds or get people to roll with you, that's one thing. But conquering yourself, having absolute and total self control and discipline, it's damnar impossible. Because all of us do things we said we weren't gonna do.

Whether it's like sticking to a diet damn near impossible, sticking to a workout regimen, damn near impossible. How many times are you doing things you said you weren't gonna do, but you do it. You make excuses. So to conquer yourself, to have absolute and total control over yourself will make you mighty. And I sit with so many people and it is like ice man, I can't do this. I can't. You know, I'm weak. I lose this like I lose focus. And that's your ultimate battle is you can you can

trol yourself? Can you conquer yourself? So I agree totally with Loud. You know, there's a lot of people that can conquer other people, but then they have no control. There's a lot of people in history that have been so dominant outwards toward people, but in their own life it was a disaster. In their own life. They had no self control, and most of those people imploded. You know, they were so powerful outwards, but inwards they had no control.

So once you control yourself and you have absolute total self control, you become mighty. And I think that's what we all should work for, absolute and total self control. This has been another ice cold fact from me iced tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that if you can conquer yourself makes you a more

powerful human being overall. I Sees Daily Game. It's a production of iHeart Radio, Final Level Entertainment and Oddity, an Asylum entertainment company. The show's executive producer is Noel Brown.
