I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's up to sizes Tee. You're listening to the Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. This quote is coming to you today and will hopefully keep you motivated and keep you focused in the right direction. Don't trust everything you see, even salt looks like sugar. We have a habit nowadays once again,
a lot of social media stuff. We talk about what we see, we believe. They say, believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. Nowadays, they even have things called deep fakes, where they can stick someone else's face onto someone else's body and have them talking and have them looking at you lying to your face.
People are posting pictures they have filters on them. It's funny though, Like I'm on television and people always come to me and they say, you're so concerned with what you look like on TV, and I'm like, I don't really care on television. I'm more concerned in person. I would rather have somebody walk up to me in public
and say, wow, you look better in real life. But then I had a meeting with somebody, a tech guy, and he said, if somebody saw you on the street and you look fucked up, would you be more concerned with that or if they posted the picture?
Which made me understand it.
Now, people are more concerned with their digital image than reality because the digital image gets sent out to more people, so more people see it than the actual people that actually see you fucked up.
So you could walk around in your house looking all.
Fucked up, but then if somebody takes a picture, you're like, hell, we're you going to do with that?
Now?
You're going to put it out to everybody. Be cautious of what you see as being reality. It's not necessarily reality. It's a version of reality, but it's not reality. I did a reality show, Ice Loves Coco. You guys loved it. It's a version of reality. It's not truly reality because we got mics on. There's cameras in the room. That's not reality. You know, the cameras are there. If you walk into a restaurant, the waiters miked. The booth you're sitting in is lit, so you're giving them a version
of reality. But it's not absolutely real. Absolutely real would be cameras that you did not even know were they're Even if you're watching Big Brother, that's not reality because they know the cameras are there. The only time you get in somebody real is when they don't know they're being recorded. They don't know they're being filmed, and they're just being themselves. So don't believe everything you see. Even salt looks like sugar, look at it and understand that
this is a version of reality. It's not absolute true reality. This has been another ice cold fact from me Iced Tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that what you see isn't necessarily what you get.
It might be coming through a filter. Icey's Daily Game.
