Icey's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up Sight Team, You're listening to The Daily Game a compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote comes from Rory Vaden, a New York Times bestselling author. He's also an entrepreneur and a Hall of Fame speaker with Ted Talks and has more than four million views. So pay attention. Success is never owned, it's rented,

and the rent is due every day. Now, I heard this quote and I thought it was genius. This is the most real quote that I live by. I think it's been said before. You can't rest on your laurels. People say, well, hest why do you do so many things? Is because I don't know which one's going to fall off. It's like I'm steadily front loading the truck because the back gate could swing open at any minute. So I'm just trying to do as many things as I possibly can,

as life has gifted me the opportunity. But the rent is due every day. You think you're successful and you got a lock on it where you can be evicted from success instantly. Look at all these big time people you see of taking these falls, gone to jail, gone bankrupt, lost it all because they got comfortable and they didn't realize that they had to pay that rent. They had to keep being good people. They had to keep producing

and continuously feeding success. So you can be it for a minute, but you can lose it just that quick. So you have to stay on top of your grind. You got to stay on top of your craft. You got to get better. I got my band body count. They practice and practice and practice. They just can't feel like, hey, we're there. No, we have to keep getting better. Got to make the next album better than the last one. As soon as you rest, as soon as you think, hey, I'm in a good place. People come to me all

the time, when are you gonna stop? I'm like, you can't stop. You know what it took you to get there is now part of your DNA, and you have to keep on hustling till the day you drop. That's just part of how you're built. Got to pay that rent every day. Success is never owned, it's rented, and the rent is due every motherfucking day. This has been another ice cold fact from me iced tea, listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass till then,

stay safe, stay smart, to stay knowing. There is always work to be done to maintain your level of success. I see Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio, Final Level Entertainment and Oddity, an Asylum entertainment company. The show's executive producer is Noel Brown. Supervising producer is Jordan run Talk.
