I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's up to Size Tea? You're listening to The Daily Game the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. Opposites are track, but they don't stick. Love isn't looking someone in the eyes. It's looking out in the same direction, and that beautiful oppositees a track, but

they don't stick. A lot of times, when you meet somebody and they're different, you're intrigued and you hold on to that for a minute, But once the curiosity wears off, you're not gonna stick. You know, you'll be attracted for a while, but you won't stick. To stick with somebody and be compatible with them, you have to be similar to them. Similarities most powerfully in the arts. Now this

might sound strange, but let me build on it. The arts are what you're gonna eat, where you're gonna go on vacation, how you're gonna decorate your home, how you're gonna dress, what you're gonna do for entertainment, what music you listen to theren't have to be similarities in that realm because that's what we do for fun. You both can have different jobs, you both can have different career paths, but the arts and the similarity in the arts is

really what locks us together as people. Now. Love isn't looking someone in the eyes, is looking out in the same direction. Both people have to have a vision of the future that is similar. If I want to live at the beach and Koco wants to live in the snow, that's a deal breaker because even if she does move

to the beach with me, she won't be happy. If I move into snow with her, I won't truly be happy be But if we both look out and we both have a vision of the future that's similar for looking out in the same direction, we at least have a chance. So little relationship advice from Ice Tea. If you're dealing with somebody who's the absolute opposite of you, it's probably not gonna stick for long. You're gonna end up having to be with someone who's very similar and

digs you for you. One of the reasons I've been married so long is because Coco loves me with all my motherfuckers and all the bullshit and all the gangster pimp players shit. She loves it, and I love her for how outgoing she is and how much courage she has, and how flying, how much fun and how crazy she is. I love it. I love her. I'm not trying to change her. She ain't trying to change me. This has

been another ice cold fact from me, iceed tea. Listening again and tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that people who are opposite are good for some fun, but most likely won't be good for the long haul.
