I see Daily Game. It's a production of I Heart Radio. What's Up as I see you're listening to The Daily Game, a compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote is something from the late the great Iceberg Slim. For those of you don't know, Iceberg was a pimp and then later became a legit writer. I was very fortunate to meet Iceberg Slim. I named myself after Iceberg Slim. When I was in high school.

I used to read the books and I used to spit a lot of knowledge and game from Iceberg slims to the young girl in high school. I would never tell him it was him. I thought they thought it was me, you know, talking like a forty five year old player. But at some point people used to say, say some more that ice stuff tea, and that's where iced tea came from. Iced tea is short for Iceberg. So my friends call me Berg in honor of Iceberg, and I was fortunate enough to meet Iceberg Slim before

he passed. We also did a documentary on him called Portrait of a Pimp that you could check out. I told him my name myself after him, and he said, but who better, baby, So he gave me the nod to be the second Iceberg. Here's some knowledge from Iceberg. Slim may rest in peace. A fool only trips on what's behind him. What that really is saying is that the things that are behind you have already happened, and you have to keep moving forward. You can't get tied

up on the past. A lot of people do that and they can never progress because they are continuously thinking about something that happened before that, something that happened back in the day. Something. You have to get past that and move forward. So did you can do what you gotta do, you know, like rip that rear view mirror off that car and drive forward, and don't be a fool. Don't waste time tripping over something that has happened, because you can't change that, but you can change your future.

This has been another ice Co fact from me ice Tea. Listening again tomorrow when I dropped some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, and always stay facing forward.
