I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up to SiZ team. You're listening to. The Daily Game a compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote is something I've learned throughout my life when thinking about the real ones versus the ones who are just there with their hands out. Value those
who support you with nothing to gain. I think this one goes along with a real friend doesn't want anything from you but your friendship. Now, this line can get blurred because you can't have a real friend that needs something from you. So sometimes that has to be tested. Sometimes they might put their hand out and you say I can't help you. That reaction might show who they really are. They might say, hey, I understand it, I'm cool with it. They might say that to you then
go talk behind your back to other people. Wow, I asked him for this, he wouldn't do it, you know. But sometimes it has to be tested when people are asking for it. But some friends don't want anything from you but your friendship. So in this statement here, value those who support you with nothing to gain. I go out right now and I look for artists that I like, and I don't manage him. I don't sign them, I don't have a label. But I support them and I promote them, and I push them and I try to
give them some gain. I have nothing to gain from it. I just like helping them. It's rare when you run into people like that that just like your friendship. Now, it's two sides of this, because one person told me that whenever someone gives you something, they're getting something out of it, if it's nothing more than the joy of giving it to you, So they're getting something out of it.
So I believe you should just value people that seem to like you and want to help you, if for nothing more than they dig the fuck out of you and they just want to be there and they want to be on point, and there's no real angle. There usually is an angle, but it's very difficult sometimes to determine that angle. This is a difficult one because when someone's supporting you, there usually is an angle, even if the angle is simply they get off saying they help you,
like I'm gonna take you on my yacht. I get something out of it, just out of seeing you happy, but I am getting something. If you walked onto a yacht and said, ah, this shit is little, you wouldn't get invited back. Yeah, it's a two sided question because at the end of the day, it says value people that support you with nothing to gain, but everybody's gaining.
That's a very difficult one. I'm gonna lead that one up in the air because the more I think about it, I don't think anybody really supports you with nothing the game. This has been another Ice cold fact from me, Iced Tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass Till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that it's not easy to find a circle of people who will be there for you, and if and when you can make that happen, hold on to them for
