We've all made choices that weren't the best ones. None of us are completely innocent, but we all get a fresh start every day to be a better person than we were yesterday. Everybody has made mistakes, Everybody has done things they're embarrassed about. So nobody what they say. If you live in a glasshouse, you shouldn't throw stones. Nobody sits high enough to look down on anybody. We've all been through a lot of things, but that doesn't mean
that today you can't be better than the past. You can change, You can see things from a different perspective, and that's a choice we have every morning when we wake up. There's a comment I said I got from the movie Fargo. When people say, well, you did this, or you guys were robbing and you were stealing. And my answer is it seemed like the right thing to do at the time. A lot of mistakes we made seem like the right thing to do at the time. It might have been the amount of brain cells I had.
It might have been the amount of education I had. It might have been the amount of opportunity or choices I had, or the people I were hanging around. All those lead into the decisions you made. I might not have had a friend who was smarter than me that could have told me, hey, don't do this or do that. But now today you have a choice to act differently. So nothing we could do about our past, but there's everything we could do about our future. So I don't
hold anything on anybody that happened yesterday. You know, It's kind of like even when I got with my wife, we said, you know what, we can't hold anything that.
Happened before us.
You know, it's a waste of time to get in with somebody and say, well, what did you do before me?
You know how many guys.
You're really opening up a can of worms that aren't going to help anything you need to say from this point onward.
We're going to behave in this way.
Because the past is the past, and there's nothing you could do to change the past, but you can change what happens tomorrow. This has been another ice cold fact from me, Ice Tea.
