I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up Sis Tea? You're listening to The Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. This quote is about the right kind of stress. Nervousness means it's important to you. Stress is caused by giving a fuck, and you're not stressing about anything you're not

caring about. There's an easy way not to stress. Don't give a fuck about anything, you know, just walk through life not caring. That's not that easy, because we do care about things. You'll find out the things you stress over more are the things that are more important to you. I've been performing on stage twenty five years at least. People say, do you get nervous before you go on stage? Yeah? Show you know why, because it matters. I don't want

to fail. I mean, this is my life. I'm about to go out there and do what I've I've been doing so long. I want to be professional. I want to be on point. It's important. Yes, I stress. If I were to walk on stage like I did not care, I might put on a mediocre show. I might give you a lot less than what I should. You have to care about things to a certain point. So even when I act, I'm not really stressing, but I'm very concerned. I'm very on point, and I'm very there because it's

important to me. You can see way people act around things that aren't important to them. They don't really give a fuck, and I'm definitely they definitely not stressing about it. They don't care. And in life, a lot of things aren't important to me, and I'll let you know that. They'll be like, well are you preparing for this? I'm like, I don't really give a fuck about it. Do whatever, because I don't really care about this particular whatever it is.

But things I do care about, Yes, stress will be involved. Now that you know that stress is caused by giving a fuck, think and see, are some of the things you're stressed about even worthy of you giving a fuck about? Like I'm stressing over it is and this shit is not even really important. It's not really important, So save that stress for something that is important. You know. One of my other quotes I heard was worrying. It's putting a down payment on a problem that may never happen.

So make sure if you are stressing, it's something that deserves your stress. It's something important. Your kids in the hospital, Okay, that deserves stress. You care about that. You know your bills, Hey, you might need to be worrying about them if they're not going to get paid. But some things we tend to stress about don't even deserve it. You have to learn to delete those from your life, like Henry Rollins telling me, it's not about being mad at everything, it's

being really mad at the right things. It's not about stressing over everything. It's just focusing of them on the things that deserve your attention. This has been another ice cold fact from me iced Tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass Till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that stress can be a good motivator for success. Icey's Daily Game.
