I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's up to SIS Team? You're listening to The Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. If you're a fan of Jimmy Fallon show, you see me on his couch numerous times, and on one of my more recent visits, we talk about this quote, which is one of my all time favorites. A lot travels around the world twice before the truth can get
its pants on. People are more into negative information. A positive statement won't get anywhere, no one talks about it, but anything I say negative will travel. For some reason, human beings are attracted to negativity more than positivity. I'll give you a good example. I just was on Saturday Night Line with Dave Chappelle and somebody said that You're gonna get canceled for being on SNL with Dave Chappelle.
Because people were upset with Dave Chappelle, I tweeted that and because someone says I'm gonna be canceled, that word canceled made that fucking tweet go viral because people read it thinking, Oh, I'm getting canceled. Can they love the negativity that's connected to that word? And with a lie, usually lies are based around something negative. People will hear this lie a hundred times before you can even reply.
And in social media world, if someone lies on you, especially if you're a celebrity, and you decide to reply, you just made them famous. You just made them famous. So a lot of time, a lot of lies just go unchecked because replying to the liar makes the liar important. So it's true even in your life that a lie will travel around the world twice before the truth can get its pants on. People love negativity. This has been
another ice cold fact from me iced tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that truth is out there. But there are three sides to every story. Ice Ty's Daily Game. It is a production of iHeart Radio, Final Level Entertainment and Oddity, an Asylum Entertainment Company.
