I see Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up Besides You're listening to The Daily Game, a compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote is from something I keep in mind to stay motivated. If you're a giver, learn your limits, because takers don't have any. I like to be a giver. Most good people like to give. You want to help people.
You want to provide aid when they need it. But you gotta understand in this world there's getters and givers, and then there's takers. There's people who have decided their entire life is just going to be based on asking for stuff, getting loans that they never plan on paying back, borrowing from people they feel that you're doing well, so you owe this to them. You have to know that some people have no limits. You'll say, hey, I couldn't ask for stuff I don't need. They can. They have
no problems with it. So what you have to do is you have to set up your own limits, your own boundaries. I use my gut so you could come to me and ask me for some money. Or some help, and I'll do it. Ask me again. I might do it, but the second I feel in my gut that I don't want to do it, you might even get it that time, but that would be it. The next time you can ask me for five dollars, I don't got it. I've had people coming to me and ask me for money,
you know, maybe ten thousand dollars. I gave it to them. Next time they come back they ask for five thousand. I don't got it. You mean, don't got it. I'm like, well, I would have it if you would have gave me back the other ten thousand that you borrowed from me supposedly, so, I don't have a problem cutting people off, especially after I've been more than helpful. But remember, takers don't have any limits. That's just what they do. That's their character,
and they will work you. And the truth of it is, someone who's a taker isn't really your friend. They're taking advantage of you. Along with taking your money or your kindness or your generosity or whatever. You know, you're letting them live in your house or whatever. They have no problems with that. They've psychologically set up in their mind that you've got so much that you should give to them for some unknown reason. That shit's crazy. This has
been another Ice cole fact from me iced Tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass Till then, stay safe, stay smart, stay awake about what you're given and to whom I sees.
