I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up Sise team, You're listening to? The Daily Game a compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote is more of an observation and one that's ridiculous in my opinion. The same people that say fake it till you make it say keep it real. Let that sink in. Let's break both these statements down. Fake

it till you make it? What does that really mean? Does that mean dress the part that you want to play? Do that mean look good when you're going into an interview. I wouldn't call that faking it. I mean I would call that presenting yourself correctly. Do you walk around and you tell people that you are somebody you're not, Will

that get you through the doors. I mean, it's been proven that that can work the problem with faking it till you make it is motherfuckers get so good at that that they never stop faking it and they never make it. That becomes the occupation just faking it. They receive rewards for faking it. They become impostors, but they never make it because they're too good at faking it. They end up liking faking it. Until you're really willing to be honest with your position, you're not gonna be

able to make it. You're gonna have to be honest with somebody if you're walking up to me like, Yo, I got all these jewels on, blah blah blah, I'm this big rapper. Okay, well then I'm not gonna help you. You're gonna have to say, really, yo, this jewels fake and uh, you know, I'm just trying to make it, but you've already showed me you're a liar. It's a difficult one, So fake it if you want to become a great fake. Odds are you won't make it. Now

let's go to this other one. Keeping it real to me, keeping it real isn't what they call keeping it real. Keeping it real to them is just saying anything, just speaking out your mouth, saying how you feel about everything at the moment, just being outwardly ignorant. That's keeping it real to me. Keeping it real is keeping it real to yourself. What do you want to be? Who do you want to be? Do you want to drink. No, Then when the homies say let's drink, you say, I

don't want to drink. That's keeping it real. I don't got no tattoos, I don't smoke weed, I don't really drink alcohol. That was me keeping it real to myself, not to the hood. People like, well, how could you be from the hood and you ain't got tats Cause I kept it real. I kept it real to myself. That's keeping it real. So a lot of people feel like, well, you ain't keeping it real if you ain't acting like us, that's not real. That's you, it's not me. Keeping it

real is keeping it real to yourself. So people that say fake it till you make it and keep it real, don't pay much attention to them. All right, if you want to make it, be honest to yourself and embrace your evolution as you get better and bigger. Fuck all that fake in it shit and keeping it real can go severely wrong. Watch Dave Chappelle's show for that one. He has a segment called when keeping It Real Goes wrong. This has been another ice cold fact from me iced tea.

Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, and say knowing that are the same people out there they're telling you to keep it real are the fakest motherfuckers you may ever come across.
