Icey's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up de Sise team. You're listening to The Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and help me through the game of life. Today's quote is something to keep in mind and this will definitely help you out in your life. Learn how to drop an argument that's going nowhere and change the subject mid sentence. This is master class level shit, I'm
say it again. Learn how to drop an argument it's going nowhere and just change the subject mid sentence. Everybody's been in an argument that is not going to end. I found out one of the worst people to argue with is somebody drunk. You know, if somebody's drunk, they're just gonna loop and loop. You think you got to the end of the argument, and they'll start that damn argument over again. Some people love to argue. First off, look at your opponent. Some of these people live to argue.
That's it, that's the best conversation they got. They just want to argue. You know, you make your point, you nailed it in, and they're still going on and going on, going on. That's when you just throw in a monkey wrench and go, damn man, you know, can't wait to go on my vacation. It throws them the fuck off because they're still in they bullshit and you just change the topic, or either if you're bailing on the argument, change the topic, don't say you want the argument, don't
say anything. Just look down at your watch and say, I gotta go pick up my kid from school, or you know what, I got to answer these emails and just drop it dead in the middle. It will make them go crazy. But guess what, you're out of the argument now. They're just ranting and raving. One thing I've learned about arguing with people is you're a fool if you have to win an argument. I mean, in the midst of the argument, you'll make a decision on who's
right and who's wrong. With Coco, my wife, she'll get stuck on some shit. It could be something as simple as what we were wearing or something. She'll be like, that was the night I had on the blue sweater and I'll know it was red and I'll go, no, it was red, and she goes to blue and I go, you're right, it's blue. Then sometimes she'll go, oh, you're just saying that. Maybe I am just saying that, but she'll know that that argument's over because it's not even
worth it. I'm very quick to get out of discussions where I'm like, you know what, it doesn't really matter. My wife fortunately isn't an arguer. But sometimes we'll have differences of opinion, and you know what, Sometimes I'll be dead serious about something that I think I'm right about and come to find out I was wrong. I was wrong, she was right. So it doesn't really matter on who
wins most arguments. Most arguments are petty anyway. That's a trick you can do when you feel it it's going nowhere and the argument is just looping and looping and looping in the middle of the argument, just changed the topic real quick. It just fucks with the other person really bad, just in the middle of the argument. I don't know you're right now? Now? Is it supposed to rain tomorrow? Like? What is it supposed to rain tomorrow? I heard it was gonna rain. Yeah. They'll stop wanting
to argue with you too. After a while, they'll figure out, oh, this motherfucker knows what he's doing. It might take some practice and it could backfire, but once you master this move, there's nothing they can do about it. This has been another Ice cold fact from me. Ice Team. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass. Till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay hustling. Ice. He gave us a production of iHeartRadio Final Level Entertainment and Audity,
