I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's up to Sizes Team, You're listening to The Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote comes from Marcus Aurelius, who was a famous Roman emperor and beloved by the public during
his reign. According to some historians, his greatest accomplishment as emperor was the ability to hold the Roman Empire together through the empire's first true pandemic, the Parthian War, and the dramatic wars. Marcus said, you can commit injustice by doing nothing. This kind of falls true with what's going on in the world today, all the hatred, the racism, the violence. At some point, just not doing anything is injustice.
It's like you have to stand up to it. And I tell people all the time, I say, you know, like it's small things. You know, if you got a friend who's racist and they say something racist in front of you, check them, say come on, that's how you really feel, and let them know. That little bit goes a long way in life. But if you have a friend or somebody around you that's committing these crimes, doing
these things, and you're not doing anything about it. Then you're complacent and you are committing an injustice just by doing nothing. I mean, even if if it's simple as having a friend who's a hater and it is hating on somebody just for no reason. In the middle of the conversation, you just say, why are you hating? Man, Like, why are you talking shit about this person? You don't know this person. Address it, and you're doing something. But
if you don't do anything, you're committing an injustice. Now, maybe you're different, maybe you're gonna play it this way. I see them hate, I know their hater, and I just identify them as a hater, so I don't really take any of their advice or listen to them anyways, because I see what type of person they are. Well, in that sense, you are still doing something because you're at least becoming aware of this person's personality. But a lot of times we need people to do a little
bit more. Say something. I'm on Twitter, I might say this or I might say that, and people are like, wow, you're willing to stand for something, you know. I think somebody said if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. I think that was Malcolm X. But yes, not doing anything is in self an injustice. If you see somebody you know in need and you do not
help them, that in itself is an injustice. So we do need to stand up and do things when we think see things that are going wrong in the world will racial and just this feels more present, you know, the past few years. It's a good reminder just to let people know that standing up is a good thing. That's the way you as a person can fight, you know, and doing nothing in itself is an injustice. This has
been another ice cold fact from me iced Tea.
