Today's quote comes from Epictetus. He was one of the most prolific thinkers of his time and made a name for himself an ancient philosophy. He believed that only one thing truly belongs to an individual fully, and
that's will and purpose. He said, no great thing is created suddenly. Now let's think of what's great. A baby, Well, it's not technically created suddenly. It starts suddenly, but it probably put in a lot of work. Then the mother has to carry it for nine months and outcomes something great. As we go, something can happened that's great in our lives, but it's usually based on what we've done up to
that point to be able to achieve the greatness. I look at my daughter's paintings, and to me, that's greatness. But she worked hard to do that. She just didn't throw any paint on the paper and it was great. She knows that's mess. But when she actually takes that pen and she tries to draw, and even though the characters might not look like people yet, but she says they're people. She worked hard on that. So nothing great happened suddenly. It requires work and it requires a person really to put.
Everything they have into it.
And with my daughter, that's all she can give, that's all she has at this point. So hey, at one point, maybe I made a great song and it only took me ten minutes, But it took me thirty forty years of practice to be able to achieve something in ten minutes, so it wasn't sudden. It's like that overnight success that took you thirty years to achieve.
I'm gonna tell you the truth.
I just believe that hard work will get recognized and greatness can be achieved with time. This has been another ice cold fact from me, iced Tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing success can and will be achieved, but it does not happen overnight.
