A lot of people are so concerned with being on top of the game. Well, you have to get in the game first.
When I first started rapping, I was never concerned with being the number one rapper. I just wanted to be named amongst the rappers. There's so many rappers out right now that if you told me all these different names, I would only know a few people, you know, because getting to be named amongst the major rappers is a big accomplishment, you know. So that's all I was concerned with. Where I ranked. That's a matter of perspective. That's a
matter of preference, what people like. To some people. Oh, I t's the best to some people. I'd never be the best, but I'm still in the game. That's the key. So whatever you're doing in business, whatever you're doing in life, stop basing it around being in the top five or the top ten. Don't worry about that. Just get in the game, like I always tell you. I mean, McDonald's is number one, But do you think you know Wendy's gives a fuck. You don't think Burger King gives a fuck? No,
because they getting paid. Taco Bell don't even care. Get in the game, and if you can get in the top tier, so be it. But don't base your life around Oh well, if I'm not number one, I'm not gonna be happy, or I gotta be this, or I gotta get it. Let me tell you, I've never been in the top five. I've never been anywhere near that. But I've sold a hell of a lot of records, and I've lived a life that very few people can
compare and a lot of people envy. Been around the world multiple times, been the just I've done a lot of shit to not be number one, five, ten, or what it. I don't give a fuck. It's not necessary. Don't mind fuck yourself into saying I have to be at this level. No, just get in the game. You have to be in it to win it. That's it and who knows, one day you could be number ninety, the next day you could be number one. Who would have thought, you know what I'm saying, I just put
out a book. I mean I we just dropped the book Bound number one on Amazon, number one audio book Plow. That's great, that's a great thing. But it didn't matter. We just putting out a book. We were getting in the game. But we say you get in where you fit in, but don't get too caught up in the rankings of people. It truly doesn't matter. This has been
