I He's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up is Sez? Team? You're listening to? The Daily Game, a compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I found inspiring and help me through the game of life. Today's quote is something I find quite hilarious, and it's often what people say when you decline an invitation because you have too many other commitments going on. Stop calling your busy friends fake. We're not seventeen anymore.
Motherfuckers have responsibilities. I mean, you know, you want to go to the club, you want to do this, you want to hang out with your girl, you want to do this, that, and the third she's like, I'm busy. You know the girls are going out tonight. I'm busy. Oh she's fake, bitch. Why is she fake? She has a job, she has things to do. Once you become grown, you have a lot of response. You may have a man, you might you know if you got you got a relationship,
you got kids, you got business. You don't have time to hang out. I remember when I was eighteen, nineteen twenty, it'd be like twenty guys hanging out on the corner every day, all of us chilling, nothing to do. Do this, Let's do that, Yeah, let me go, let's go. Now, everybody's married, everybody got kids. We don't hang out that much. We don't see each other that much because everybody has
their own life. You know, if you're that one single friend and all your friends are now married, you're alone. You're like, damn, man, I don't got no friends. Then you start hanging out with other people in the same situation as you, and they're bitter and uptight. All your other friends are now in relationships, they got families, and shit, they're not fake. They've just got responsibilities. Fifty cents said it great. Somebody was coming at him. They say, yeah,
we used to be friends. He said, yeah, well we used to be ten. We're not ten anymore. We're grown ass men and things have changed. So understand it. As you get older and you mature, you have less time. You can't just, you know, hang out with the boys, or you just can't hang out with the girls. It don't work like that. And if you are one of the girls that's hanging out your other friends, they might have other responsibilities. They're not fake. They've just evolved and
their priorities have changed. You know what I'm saying, Maybe you need to find yourself some business. Stop worrying about them, trying to get them to do whatever you want them to do. One of the things I know, just because somebody wants me to do something doesn't mean that's what I want to do. People have one hundred ideas, Oh, you should do this, we should do this. I'm like, that's what you would like me to do, but that's
not necessarily what I would like to do. So just because I don't want to go on this trip with you guys, or do this thing, or go to this club with you guys, go to this party, don't make me fake. Makes me real because I'm doing what I want to do, not what you want me to do. This has been another ice cold fact from me, Iced Tea.
Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass Till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that people with less responsibilities than you are usually going to be the first ones out the gate calling you fake.
