Icey's Daily Game. It is a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up is ice Team? You're listening to. The Daily Game a compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote comes from the Dalai Lama, but I say it so much I forget it didn't come from me. For those of you who don't know, the Dalai Lama is considered by many to be the highest spiritual leader on Earth. Listen up. Young children don't care
about differences of nationality, faith, or race. So long as their companions smile, they play together happily. It seems it's only as we grow up in the course of education that focusing on secondary differences between people creates trouble. That's the Dalai Lama version of that is. If you took a black kid, white kid, Asian kid, you know, Christian kid, Jewish kid, Muslim kid, all different races and religions and put them all in a sandbox five year olds, they'd
all play together. Some of the kids might be little bullies, some of the kids might be greedy or grab at the toys, and all that but it won't be based on race, gender, or religion. It's just kids playing. Kids aren't put on this earth races. They're not put on this earth knowing which religion is better. They're not put on this earth hating. They're put on this earth pure. All that stuff comes from parents. All that stuff is taught. All that stuff is the poison that we as parents
inject into these kids' lives. That happens and then experience is dealing with other people help mold these kids beliefs. But the kid, the baby itself, is naturally pure. So we have to take a lot of responsibility with the children and how you teach them, and also be aware that the experiences they go through will mold them. A child that is born in war will understand an enemy before a child is not born in war. A child is born in poverty will understand survival quicker than a
kid that's not born in poverty. So the outside experiences helped mold them. But racism, hate for religion, and all this stuff, it's usually taught in the household. So you don't blame the kid, you blame the parent. This has been another ice cold fact from me iced Tea listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass Till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that if kids can manage to have a great time with almost anyone, it might be a good thing for adults
to try that from time to time. I SE's Daily Game. It is a production of iHeartRadio, Final Level Entertainment and Oddity, an Asylum entertainment company.
