I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's up to Sizes? Team? You're listening to? The Daily Game a compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote comes from Robert de Niro. Just be calm when things are going well. Don't thank you on top of the world. Everyone is dispensable. I mean, Robert de Niro has always played the cool parts in
the movies. I mean, whether it's Katee fear, whether it's heat. You know, Robert de Niro is always compared with al Pacino is having that swag, being able to pull off the gangster roles, and me watching Robert de Niro away from it and how he stood up and speaks his mind, makes me respect the man as an actor. If you don't have any favorite actors, you know, you can't be in a field and not respect other people in that field. Like you know, it's been well known. I'm a Brad
Pitt fan. I love Paccino, de Niro. It's almost like those are guaranteed people. So I totally respect de Niro's work. What he's done. How he's been able to stay in the game. Even as he's getting older, he's still hardcore. He can do comedy. From me being an actor and getting into the acting world, definitely, you have to respect Robert de Niro's hustle, and I respect him as a
man as well. They used to tell me the key to being cool is when you win, you don't get that happy, and when you lose, you don't get that sad. When things are going good for you, relax in that moment, Absorb that moment, but do not let it go to your head. Don't start shitting on people, don't start acting extra, don't don't lose your personality. Now, I believe fame doesn't change, it only amplifies them. I don't believe that you change. I think some people want to become famous to be assholes.
Some people want to be the boss so they can shit on people. That's just their personality. I think if you're cool, fame lets you be really cool. If you're a good person, it gives you a great platform to be a great person. If you're an asshole and a dickhead, fame gives you a great platform to be that too. So I believe fame and money does not change you.
It amplifies you. Now, once you're amplified, like de Niro says, now you think you're on top, be calm, relax, appreciate that moment, don't play yourself, and get out of pocket. Because everyone is dispensable. And we've seen a lot of people get to this particular point, whether it's money, fame, or whatever and just lose it all because you go into a god complex think you're special. You're not special. You're lucky. You're blessed. You're blessed that people like you. You're
lucky that people like you. I'm acting people like me, all right. There's people that can act circles around me. There's people that have been to college and got degrees in acting that could do Shakespeare all day, but people may not like them. So you're fucking lucky. How the fuck do you get an ego behind that? How do you start thinking you're on top of the world because you're fucking special. Everyone is dispensable. You know, here's the four stages of acting a show business. You ready one,
who is iced tea? Two? Get me iced tea? Three? Get me a young iced tea? For who the fuck was ice Tea. That's it. You are dispensable, so we're people that they use to entertain and we understand that. But I don't care if you're in corporate world or whatever. Don't get on top and start thinking you can't be replaced. That's the biggest mistake you'll ever make. This has been another ice cold fact from me. Iced team. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass till then,
stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing. When things are going well, just be thankful and never take it for granted. Icey's Daily Game.
