I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up to SiZ Tee? You're listening to The Daily Game, a compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today, I'm going to put you on something I learned a long time ago in the streets. I learned that a pimp has to be his best ho.
That's why I work continuously to pimp myself. When people think of a pimp, they think of a guy that's going to send a woman out there to do sexual favors or whatever and bring him back the money. But if you really think you a player at a pimp at some level. Because now the word pimp is thrown around for anybody who thinks they fly, you know, they've taken a lot of the negative connotations out of the word.
You got to be your best hoe. You got to be able to do whatever you're requesting someone else to do better. It's like if I want to ask somebody to wash my car, I got to show him I can do it better, you know. And sometimes you got to go out there and get this money. You can't sit back and just say I'm gonna send everybody else out to do the work. No, I have to prove to you that if I want to, I can get up here and get way more money than you could ever get. So let's look at the game from a
pimp hole perspective. You know, when a pimp meeds a hoe, he basically gives us some clothes and says, get out there and get me some paper. Well, when I get a job on Law and Order, Dick Wolf gives me a job a track which is called TV, he says, get out there and get me some paper. I have to perform. I have to perform to the point where I'm making him some money. If I stop making him some money, he will kick me back to the curve. You understand me now, And other bits businesses, I might
have to motivate myself to get out there. When I'm doing my shows, I'm pushing myself. No one is standing over me saying, hey, you got to get this work done. But in some cases I'm the pimp and other cases I'm the hoe. I don't mind hoeing for Dick Wolf because he pays me good and he takes good care of me. You understand me, but uh, you got to know what position you're playing in this game, because in my world there's only two occupations, the worker or the
person that has you work period. If you are self employed, you're pushing yourself. Let's take the word pimp out. You're a pusher. You're pushing yourself. That's the object. We all start off with pushers. We all start off with someone who is over us, a boss so to speak, that we have to work for and we have to bring them in a profit because no one's doing any favors. But eventually, one day, maybe you'll be a boss and then you'll get to push or pimp yourself. This has
been another ice cold fact from me iced Tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass. Till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay in that CEO mind state. You know.
