to clear your path. Now, what that means is a lot of times when you're going through hard times, that's when you'll get the most focused about the people around you. That's when you'll get the best focus on your life. Some of the things maybe you need to get out of your life, some of the things you need to change. I always tell people when things are bad, look around and see who's there for you. When you're sick, look and see who checks in on you. You know, you tell
your friend you're not feeling good. Let's see if he calls back in a couple of days just to check on you. These are the people you need to pay attention to, not the people who are around when everything's going great. When there's no storm, everybody's around always tell people when they're starting in their career, when they're just starting to take a picture of the people in the room. Then when you make it, bring out that picture and see if there's anybody that was there at the beginning.
Or do it reverse. When things are cracking, take a picture of all the people that are there. And then God forbid things go wrong. See if anyone stays with you and it's still your friend when things go bad. That storm can clear your vision. It can clear the way so you can really see. You know, you could be in a relationship and everything can be great. I think Edition had a record called can You Stand the Rain? Sunny days everyone loves them, but can you stand the
rain when things get hard? Let's see how we adapt to that. It's easy when the rent's paid, bills are paid, everybody's shopping. What happens when things get tight? Who's gonna stay down during those times? So not all storms come to disrupt your life. Some come to clear your path and your vision. This has been another ice colde fact from me iced tea.
