I see Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's Up beside te You're listening to The Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote is something I always like to keep in mind. Being the goat greatest of all time is not important except the one thing your ego, making your mark is
in your short lifetime. If you can invent or make something better or help someone through your art, your job is well done. It's not that important to be the greatest of all time. Plus, you can't say you're the greatest of all time. That's an accolade that has to be put on you by other people. All right, Stop worrying about being number one. It doesn't matter. I mean, I've never personally been on anybody's top five lists or any of that stuff. But I've had a great career.
I've done things very few people will have the opportunity to do without being the greatest of all time. If you're pushing for that, you better be like an Olympic athlete or somebody who's in a truly competitive sport. But just in life, it's not that important. It's more important to add to other people's lives, to maybe invent something or bring something new to the game, so people say, wow,
that wasn't there before he came along. I always say, you can always debate who's the best, but it's hard to debate who is the first. So if you do something for the first time, that's a great thing. But going to sleep at night worrying about being the greatest of all time? Do you understand how big that is? You may never be happy if that's your ultimate goal. So just go for great. Let's just try that or the best you can be. And you served yourself well.
Do not let your ego twist you into you're unhappy unless you're the best of all time. That's definitely a losing agenda. This has been another Ice cole fact from me Ice team. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay making choices that level up your game. I sees Daily Game.
