I see Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's up beside See you're listening to the Daily Game, the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote is something I keep in mind to stay focused and motivated. A street hustler and a player can thrive. You just have to change the target from negative to

positive and resume the grind. There's really not much difference from somebody on the corner street hustling to a CEO of a fortune five hundred company. You just have to change the environment and the hustle. Look at people like Puffy, look at people like jay Z fifty cent, myself. We all came out of the street. We were doing negative things. But once we change the target to something that was positive, we were able to thrive. It's because of a work ethic.

You understand about not getting sleep, about busting your ass, about multitasking, about having an agenda and finishing the challenge or whatever you've set in front of you. We know how to do that, and that's what I said. A lot of cats I know from the streets that I've gave a chance to work with me legitimately have thrived, have become extremely successful because they know how to work. A lot of people don't understand what it takes. I have people every day that they're telling me, man, man,

you just don't stop. Where do you get the energy? It's either in you or it's not. I always compare it to be in an athlete. Some people just have the athletic ability to push it to that limit. Others don't. And if you don't have it, you just have to accept the situation, which is nobody gets it easy. Like Flavor, Flav used to say, if you want an ordinary life, you have to do ordinary things. If you want an extraordinary life, you have to do extraordinary things. You have

to do more than the normal person. I remember when I was in the military and I was boxing. When I would be resting, they would tell me, your opponent is training right now. Your opponent is training to get me up out of the bed and get me in the gym. So, being from the streets or whatever walk of life you came from, if you understand the work ethic, it can translate into being a business person, a business owner, whatever you want to be, but you have to be

willing to put in that work. There's no way around you. This has been another Ice Cole fact from me Ice Tea. Listening again tomorrow when I dropped some wisdom on your ass till then, stay safe, stay smart, stay focused, and on the goal of your game.
