I See's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's up to Sizes? Team? You're listening to The Daily Game a compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life. Today's quote comes from JK. Rowling. JK. Rowlings is best known for writing the Massive Harry Potter Collection, a seven volume children's fantasy series that has captured fans

from all over the world. JK says, it takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends. This is definitely a good one because a lot of people have no problem stepping to their enemies, somebody they don't like and just letting them know how they feel.

But how does that go when you have to deal with your friends, somebody you care about, somebody you potentially like, but now they stepped out of pocket, or they're going in a direction you don't like, and now it's time for you to address them. Do you have that kind of bravery? Do you have that kind of courage? We're dealing with that. I've dealt with that with my friends. You know my friends dealt with alcoholism, drug addiction, and a lot of times to address them is difficult. Sometimes

you have to do an intervention. You have to get more than yourself a group of friends to step to them and let them know how you feel because you love them. And it's a little bit different addressing somebody you love versus an enemy. Someone you have no problem calling them every name in the book and letting them know exactly how you feel. So now it's somebody you care about. Takes a lot of courage. You possibly could lose that friend if you come at them the wrong way,

so you're walking on eggshells. But that level of courage, when you really reach that, then you truly are a badass. I got friends. I got a lot of friends. I got a lot of homies, and every once in a while they'll step out of pocket. They might do something that I didn't like and I gotta check them. I gotta call them, say, yo, homie, let me talk to you right quick. You did this, that and the third

this is what I didn't dig about it. They're either going to blow up in my face and want you want to get belligerent and talk back, or they gonna accept what I said, But a lot of times, getting to that point when you have to talk to them, it's a big hump. I've dealt with this many, many times. So let me say this again. This is from JK. Rowlings. This is a jewel. It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies, but just as much to stand up to your friends. This has been

another ice cold fact from me, iced tea. Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass Till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that courage is easy to achieve when standing up to an enemy, but real courage is standing up to friends and family.
