So when you're having fun,
enjoy the hell out of it. I'm paraphrasing his quote, but basically what he was saying is bad times are guaranteed. We're all gonna go through them. There's gonna be sickness, there's gonna be pain. You know, one time a guy told me, if you get to live to be a hundred, guess what you get to see all your friends die. Bad times are guaranteed. Happiness in good times they happen sometimes, but not all the times. What Brad is saying is when they do happen, enjoy the fuck out of them.
Have that moment, laugh, party, cheer, because bad times are guaranteed. I had this T shirt one time and it said and life love is not guaranteed, only death. And it's true, if you're lucky enough to have somebody love you and be in love, that's not guaranteed because everybody doesn't have that. But we all gonna die. So let's change that to happiness isn't guaranteed, but pain is. And I always tell people, you know, you have to work for happiness, but pain
will come. If you don't believe me, just stop moving. If you stop moving, guess what's gonna happen. Your lights are gonna get cut off, your rent's not gonna get paid, you're gonna get out of shape, you're gonna get sick. We have to move to stay alive. As human beings, we have to stay in motion. And if you want to be happy, you're gonna have to work for it
just doesn't come. But pain it's gonna come. So those moments when you finally are enjoying yourself and you're you're laughing and you don't even know why, you're at a party or you're with some friends, man, really laugh, really enjoy it. Suck up those moments to the fullest. If you're with your kids and you're just partying and you're having a good time and you're at the park. Enjoy it. Enjoy those moments, man, because they are rare and they're sacred.
