- Today’s episode features Norman Huynh, Music Director at the Bozeman Symphony, and Associate Conductor of the Oregon Symphony. In this episode we discuss Norman’s journey in music, which started as a 12-year old “band geek” trombonist in Alabama that lead him to study with Demondrae Thurman, John Ratledge, Adrian Gnam, Gustav Meier, Markand Thakar, and Marin Alsop. We also discuss his participation in the Malko Competition and what it was like to return to the stage earlier this year.
