Episode description

The UK is set to reverse plans to reduce its stockpile of nuclear weapons by the middle of the decade, as part of a foreign policy overhaul. The cap on the number of warheads will now increase to 260, having been due to drop to 180 under previous plans from 2010. Is increasing nuclear weapons and cutting international development spending what you want from Global Britain? The EU's medicines regulator has said it remains "firmly convinced" that the benefits of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab outweigh the risks. It reiterated that there was "no indication" the vaccine causes blood clots, after several leading EU states paused their rollouts. What's really causing this reaction and how is it affecting vaccine confidence?
